Nice place with nice people. They're quick and efficient and the pedi massages are A+. The service menu can be a bit confusing on what certain combos include but they're really great about explaining it if you have questions and will give recs to what might work better for you !!

This place has been my go to for about a yr. My sister came to this place first with Michelle based on other reviews. I then booked an appt with Michelle for my first time. Michelle is gentle, detail oriented, diligent, works at a reasonable pace. The times I have gone have not received cuts unlike in the past with my previous nail tech I would receive a couple of cuts and experience that stinging sensation. After I get my nails done it’s usual for me to feel sore for about a day or two, I can tolerate it, however ever since coming here I haven’t experienced soreness. Pricing for me is reasonable for the quality of work and service I receive, compared to nail pricing now in days is quite expensive. Place is chill, relaxed, and professional. Recommend to give this place a try, so far for me I will continue to come to this place for a while.

Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, do not go here. They do not deserve your hard earned money AND time. 1. They did a really awful job making a fuss when I pointed out the nail tech was hurting me, and I just naturally flinched. 2. It took 3 hours to do dip nails. Like how is that even possible? 3. The nails were awful. I have things stuck on them, they’re bumpy, and overall thin compared to the dip nails I got done back in NC. I do not recommend this place. PLEASE BEWARE.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my technican was incompetent and extremely rude. I honestly was nothing but kind and understanding. She was shaving my nail bed painfully, so I jumped, and she started saying something in Vietnamese and asked me to go to someone else. I asked her what was wrong, and they were like oh sorry she misunderstood. I couldn’t tell in low lighting how bad her nail job was, but here are some pictures. I tipped because it was the right thing to do, but I will never come here again. Extremely horrible job for the price.

called to make an appointment at 9am to get a pedi and full set done. confirmed that it would be done at the same time because i am limited on time and if it can’t be done, i will just get a full set. they said yes as long as the appt was at 9:30pm instead. at 10am, half an hour into my pedicure, they had not started on my full set. i asked and they said “10 more minutes” my pedicure was about to end when they came up to me to start my full set so i had to decline even if that’s what i came for to begin with. i always come here because it’s close to my home but after this situation happening multiple times, i don’t trust these people at all. now i have to go to a party with no nails and a very expensive pedi that i didn’t need that i only got because i was guaranteed it would be done at the same time

I got a full set with Michelle and I’m so happy with my nails!! Best nail tech ever. Michelle’s attention to detail was impeccable. I will be returning! Ask for Michelle!

This place is alright. Yes, it’s clean and spacious. However, I Went with my sister to get our nails done. And the whole time just felt uncomfortable. We felt slightly judged by the ladies, pointing and laughing at our nails, especially with my sister when she asked for a very simple design. They messed it up twice and still failed to execute it. We couldn’t understand what they were saying, so it just made things more awkward when they would point and laugh. And when I finally got my nails done, they were pretty but up close they were lumpy and left a lot of excess acrylic on the nails. Not really worth the $55. I mean, if I’m paying my hard earned money. I would like good quality nails and service 🫤

2 stars because they do well in nails, but I don’t understand why there’s always a wait when we have an appointment here. My appointment was 12:30 today the lady told me to sit down and for 20 min no one said anything to me about how much longer there needed to be to be serviced. I just left because it’s a waste of my time when I could’ve went somewhere else if they weren’t Available to do so during the time. They need to be more upfront about their availability and communicate better. It was my to go spot as well for nails but sadly not anymore

Edit to add - They take credit cards now (Sept 2023) But they cannot add tip to the CC, pls bring cash to tip. Polished is my favorite neighborhood salon for my pedi's. I've been a customer since they opened so this review is long overdue. Jackie is a sweetheart and is so awesome with her staff and clients. The staff is always welcoming, helpful and very hard working. They do some beautiful work! I always leave feeling relaxed and pampered. The salon is clean and 'polished' and they sell some hair care products too- Joico, Olaplex to name a couple. Tips - call to make your appt beforehand if possible and bring cash as they are cash only. Including price menu (pic taken 5/2/22) Original review is from May 2022. I am still a happy customer.

For the first time I came across a business who makes you wait endlessly after booking an appointment and does not feel the need to apologize and makes you leave with unfinished services. On top of it, leaves a customer humiliated by their staff (upon asking how long will it take, out of 12 members not a single one responds). And all this after 3.5yrs of constant monthly business. Absolutely unprofessional and non-courteous. On top of this the owner herself took side of the non courteous approach and did not apologize which speaks volumes of their conduct. I was booked for an appointment by the owner herself on Friday 8/18 for Monday 8/21 at 5:30 (according to me) and 6:00pm (according to them) I reach at 5:35pm and I get to know that my appointment is at 6... I said ok, np I can finish an errand and come back to which an arrogant staff member says I will get your current nails cleaned till your technician gets free. I agreed and followed... I did inform the owner on Friday that I had one toe which needed a fill and also informed the arrogant staff member about the same. She said your technician will take care, I said ok... she scraped the current nails and asked me to wait at the technicians desk... All this was at 5:50pm I quietly kept waiting in a corner until 6:23pm which was way past my appointment time. I casually got up and just asked, "how long will you take". No one responds, not a single staff member... none of them answer to a basic question... I asked again, and same humiliation. I said can I talk to the owner and the answer is I dont have the number. Lol... What is the point in booking the appointment 3 days in advance if you donot want to honor it. Now they have pulled the current filled layer and the nails are raw and unfinished so I cannot go out without getting it done. All this drama with the technician coming to attend me at 6:40 and my nails were done at 7:35... and then I asked them to finish a single toe and the lady says come back tom its late. I just got up and called it a day as I had enough humiliation by then.., My concern is, if you cannot honor times donot over book for the greed of business... Offer apologies if you do not honor time or service And the least you can do is be courteous. Just check if they can wait or not and approx how long will it take. Discrimination amongst customers and ill treating is not how business works...

Grandma is happy with their service! I offered to take her grocery shopping and she said “I want to get my nails done instead. But I don’t want to go to my old place. Can we try something else?” We called Polished Salon by chance since it is nearby. We called ahead to check if they were available for walk in, and they said to come over. She was immediately impressed with how clean and nicely decorated the salon is. Everyone was very sweet and attentive to her. They even helped her adjust the straps on her sandals so it wouldn’t ruin her new pedicure. $60 for a mani-pedi, pretty good value and a good quality job. She said she will be coming back!

I'm glad I gave this place a try and still going. Michelle does a really good job! She is sweet, professional, nice, and what I like is she listens and also gives suggestions and if you don't like it she will change it. This is my 3rd time I go with her and she has met my expectations and beyond and she already has an idea what I want. I had not been going for a couple months and when I went back she remembered me and my sister whom went once and she even asked for her which I was in shock. The owner is nice and professional. I do advise you call for an appt for a mani or pedi service I have only done my nails but fyi for those that do pedis as well.

My go-to for manis (acrylics and gel). It’s a bit out of way for me but I don’t mind & will def stop by if I’m in the area :-) Pretty spacious and I’ve never had to wait.

My new go-to salon for my nails. Jackie recommended me to transitioned from gel polish to acrylic overlay on my natural nails to strengthen my thin nails and it’s helped prevent my nails from cracking. I’ve had a few different manicurist on my monthly visits over the past year and had great results from Bi, Happy (Vui), and Michelle.

Nails came out super cute, clean place and nice atmosphere, but very horrible customer service and attitudes from the older women working there. I felt pretty humiliated and embarrassed for the majority of my appointment, during the soak off, I was being laughed at my the lady removing my nails (I'm assuming making fun of the previous set). Other women joined to look at my previous nails and laugh. Once I showed the reference image of what I wanted, I was laughed at once again, to the extent of passing my phone around to show the other women as they made fun of what I wanted as well. I understand not always being able to recreate sets, I offered multiple times to pick something else. But it's another thing to laugh and humiliate a customer for no apparent reason? It really is a shame, I was really excited to come here after hearing about it on TikTok, as well as my hour commute to get here. Just to be treated like that, girl who did the design on my nails was lovely and did a great job. But majority of other employees were hostile at times and made me feel like I didn't deserve to be in the establishment lol. I'm really hoping it was not racially motivated or directed towards my appearance, because that shouldn't matter when someone is coming into your business. I know everyone has their hard days, but there was no reason to be that rude to me and almost make me cry when all I wanted was to get my nails done.

Polished tends to be overpriced, in my opinion, but they do great work. It's not my first option, but they are the only ones I know do a great job on cat eye polish. Kim did a phenomenal job! It's important to know they are a CASH ONLY establishment.

Pros: found this salon off of tiktok, some of the ladies are very talented. They do a really good job. Cons: they talk about you and even though it’s in Vietnamese, it’s very obvious. Not the best feeling when you’re paying to get services done and they’re talking about you.

While this place has manicurists who do your nails beautifully, their service is terrible. The ladies are rude, even if you make an appointment it’s never on time, they do not value customer service. Yesterday i had called them at 9 AM asking if they r available for a full set and they said yes come now, i had went and when i got there they said come back at 1:30. i live 15 minutes away and made the drive for nothing. they said it’s because they didn’t know they had to take off my nails too, i only had 2 nails on my hand which hardly takes 5-10 min. they were not apologetic whatsoever. also some of the ladies are very rough with your hand when removing nails. while this place does do acrylics well, or at least some of the ladies do, their customer service is terrible!!! thankfully i found a new place, bellagio. will never be going here again!

Honestly a horrible experience. I came here for the first time with my little cousin who had great things to say about the place. I got my usual dip nails and noticed they only did 2 coats and I still paid $50 for my set. I was happy with how they looked but they started chipping literally within a few days. This is absolutely unacceptable for a $50 job. Usually my dip nails last for 2-4 weeks. I was hoping to atleast have nice nails through Christmas and new years. Would not recommend going here, atleast not for dip nails. Maybe that’s just not something they’re as familiar with. But be honest about it and don’t do dip or do them at a lower cost. I have been to Polished a few times in the last few months and I always love when Michelle does my nails. I'm a nail biter and not used to length and she was able to accommodate for that. Now that they've grown out a bit I was able to do some different designs and I already can't wait to go to San Jose to get my nails done with her again!

Poor customer service . I booked the appointment in advance , always has waiting time with no communication from the people who works there . I am fine with waiting for their service , please communicate with your customers if you are running late .

This is the second time coming here . My daughter and myself came in August in need of a new nail salon. They are great Michelle the nail tech did an amazing job both times with my nails .I'm a happy camper I found my new nail tech Michelle she's amazing would totally recommend her . I give her 5 starts off the back. Thank you everyone at polished
