Very professional service and I loved my stylist Dana. As a UA resident I have been to many different salons and this one was the most positive experience. My teenage daughter said that my hair is the best it’s ever looked!

Polite Society is such a lovely environment from waiting area to bathroom to stylist’s chair. Jill is an incredibly talented stylist and I always love the cuts she gives me. She does the extra prep to plan for my cuts and is extremely communicative as she works. I recommend her to everyone I can!

Both Maria and Ciann are so wonderful! I feel so pampered every time I’m in and have truly never felt better about my hair! It’s a 25 minute drive from my house and completely worth the trip.

Dana took the time to completely revamp my hair and she did an amazing job! Her cut was exactly what I was looking for and her highlighting/coloring technique was perfect. I’m always nervous going to a new stylist, but her hair knowledge and welcoming personality made me feel at ease from the beginning. Highly recommend Dana!!

I love Polite Society, it’s a relaxing, cozy corner of the world, always bright and inviting. I have searched for years for someone like Jess who really understands short hair. I drive 45 minutes to get to the shop but it’s worth very minute!

I couldn't have had a better first time with a new stylist! After 25 years with the same salon, I was very anxious about trying something different. But my stylist, Jill, was very easy to talk to, very easy to like, and did a very FABULOUS job trimming and shaping my hair for a special event. I could not believe how much she accomplished with a pair of scissors! I would highly recommend Polite Society. It is an all female owned/operated business in a cozy, beautifully renovated salon right in the heart of historic Arlington. What's not to like about this place?! I will definitely be going back!

I recently found my new favorite hair salon in Columbus, and I couldn’t be happier—Polite Society is such a gem! After moving to the area, I was on the hunt for a salon, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place. I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Jill, and she was amazing! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel right at home. Jill took the time to really get to know me and my hair goals, and her expertise shone through in every conversation. It felt so refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cares! The whole vibe at Polite Society is super friendly and welcoming. Everyone there is just lovely, and the salon itself is adorable with its cute, unique decor—it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some self-care. I’m really excited to have found such a great salon within walking distance from my home. Loved my first visit to Polite Society. The salon is gorgeous and feels high-end while still feeling friendly, laid back, and approachable. Jill was great and listened to my hair needs while making some suggestions to help get the look and feel I was after. I appreciated the naturally scented products, as I can be sensitive to fragrances. For a first time visitor, I felt very welcome, and I'll definitely be back.

Ciann was wonderful!! She really took the time to listen to what I wanted before we got started, and since I’m so indecisive I ultimately put my trust in her and I’m so glad I did! I love my hair, and had a great time in the chair. The studio space is incredible & Ciann is such a kind & calming presence!

I cannot emphasize enough the amount of care that Jess Christy puts into each visit I have at her salon. For years I would go in for a haircut and think the stylist understood my vision, only to walk away disappointed in the end result. I have never had that experience with Jess. She is extremely focused on the game plan before the scissors are even taken to the hair. She will check in as she is working to make sure that you are both still aligned on the progress and the look. To top it all off, she adds fun and thoughtful conversation. I could not recommend a stylist or salon more. If you are looking to improve your look, I would highly suggest heading over to Polite Society!

Jess is wonderful. She cares so much about her clients and that the cut or color fits their hairstyle and their personal style. I love coming. I feel comfortable and part of a family. My cuts have always been amazing and easy for me to style at home. Love her!
