Love the staff and the vibes at Pono ❣️ I’ve been coming here for a little under two years for the occasional self care day and I’ve always been happy with the experience and results of the my facial treatments and lash lifts. Recently, I purchased a gift card for my boyfriend’s mom and she’s become a fan of Pono too! Would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family 🤍

I come to Pono for the occasional waxing but recently treated myself to the Bespoke Facial for some self care. Natasha was so knowledgeable and nice. Her voice and therapeutic touch made it such a luxurious experience. The treatment left my skin soft and hydrated and the massage was phenomenal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a safe space to feel rejuvenated and cared for.

No one has ever spent as much time looking at my brows as Cody. I guess I should be embarrased because Iiiiiii should probably be looking at my brows. But nope. Cody spent so much time brushing, analyzing, brushing. Detailing, it was quite an experience that ended in perfection. Thank you Cody!!!!

Debra is the creator, owner, and glowing light at PONO. Debra has curated such a space of warmth and beauty that you start to wonder where you even are. Spoiler alert: not Kansas, anymore. Well, my skin was about as dry and dusty as Kansas in the Dust Bowl… When I entered the shop there was a steamy cup of tea and friendly team of esthies to welcome me. After a chat about my skin needs, goals, and 5-year plan (jk), Debra cleansed and moisturized the hell out of my skin AND soul. She was so attentive and informative in a way that left me feeling empowered about the areas I worry most about. The products felt amazing and like they actually did something! PONO sits at the gateway to Glen Park and glows like a beacon calling you from the kitty-corner BART station (read: easy to get to!) If you walked by the shop you’d break your neck turning to see the stunning interior and fabulous awning. I’ve had facials and treatments all over, from esthie schools to the Ritz. I don’t overstate when I say PONO and Debra are the gold standard. That’s because Debra has made something here, in our City, that makes you feel like it doesn’t get any better than this. You haven’t loved yourself until you’ve been to PONO, a gem on Diamond St. There’s no place like PONO. Thank you, Debra.

I received a facial at Pono and was lucky to have chosen Klaudia as my esthetician. I immediately felt at ease with her and she gave me great tips for skincare. I left with some of her own toner and absolutely plan on coming back for more skin treatments with Klaudia.

I've been 3 times and each time I'm so thankful for the serenity in this place, right in the bustle of Glen Park's transit corridor. Both Klaudia and Michelle have done great shaping of my brows and painless waxing. So glad this place exists!

Klaudia was amazing i was not super comfortable for service as I never did but not only she made me comfortable but educated regarding what to do in future. Beautiful ambience and Klaudia energy is amazing since the time she welcomed and till the time I left.

Wow! I arrived a bit early and was greeted with a warm reception and a nice cup of tea. The facial was amazing. Klaudia was really attentive to my preferences, and the overall experience was better than any facial I’ve had before. She worked on my tightly clenched jaw, did a lot of awesome work on my neck and shoulders, and the face cleanse and mask was luxurious. I wish I lived in SF, a gift card here is all I would ever ask for as a gift. The value of this experience is incredibly high.

Pono always feels like home! The spa is beautifully relaxing, and it smells amazing! Debra is a top tier esthetician, we love her brow waxing and facials- She is friendly and super knowledgeable, and offers tips on how to maintain your skin care routine. 100% Highly recommend!
