I am so in love with my Keratin trearment from Judy. " I am over the moon happy" and will definitely do it again. I have coarse wirey hair and this left my hair soft and silky with out being pin straight. Just what I wanted.

Highly recommend! Judy is a fantastic person and an expert at cutting hair. Going in, I had a general idea for what I wanted. Judy was able to turn my idea into a reality. This haircut is the best I have had. Additionally, hanging out with Judy was the highlight of my day. I'd go back just for her conversation and kindness.

Was able to get in to an appointment on a Sunday and was surprised by the great service and excellent haircut. Much better than a lot of other places I've been to. Great work. This is a definite recommend.

I went here for the first time on Thurs before a date. To get a haircut and style. Judy was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel super relaxed. I showed her a couple pictures of loosely what I wanted, and she DELIVERED. I LOVE my hair ❤ if you're considering going to her, do it.

Judy did amazing haircut and balayage! I’m so happy with the results! I also received super relaxing head massage during the washing process, I had a headache at that day so that was really handy. Thank you again , that’s my top favorite hair salon now 😍

Judy is amazing! I went from black hair to platinum blonde (never colored before) and it came out perfect! I didn't realize how long getting hair colored would take and Judy legit gave me half of her sandwich to eat while I was there haha. So kind and approachable as well, highly recommend.

Judy is very rude and doesn’t treat his new clients right. I bought a Groupon for Keratin treatment with Judy and it was based on the high rating that this place has received. It took two weeks to her back from her after multiple calls and voice messages. On my appointment day, I called her and told her I was going to be late but when I arrived she told me she can’t treat me. I thought it was my fault for being late even thought I mentioned to her on the phone and she said “take your time”. Then she wouldn’t schedule me for another day or weekends, she was trying to just give me a hard time for no reason. Then she started demanding $60 dollars more since the Groupon wasn’t enough, even though the Groupon says $45 extra charge for longer hair. A very unpleasant experience with a very unpleasant woman.

Judy is such a gem. She helped me put words to what I wanted and provided her professional opinion. I loved how she listened to what I wanted but also advised me towards certain things. I definitely need to stop washing my hair as often….I love her and I’d recommend her to anyone! My balayage came out beautifully blended and natural and the haircut left me feeling super healthy and fun.

Love my experience, totally recommended! Judy was amazing, she took her time to make sure my hair turns out the way I want. I did not feel rushed like many places that try to get you in and out like you're just another number. She was personable and pleasant. Best of all her shampooing technique was super soothing and relaxing, it felt so nice I fell asleep for a hot minute 🤣

After 10 years of going to the same man he suddenly retired. I went like always to his shop and found it to be completely bare. I did not know what I was going to do! I was in The Army as was my father so I am a creature of habit. I was driving down University about 2/10 of a mile from my house when I spotted Portfolio Hair Salon. I have driven by it, probably 800-1000 times over my 10 years in North Park. As soon as got home I started researching. After no red flags online I called and got voice mail. I left my number and Judy called me back within minutes! After 2 wonderful experiences with Judy, I am addicted to her talent as well as her personality!! I will never cheat on Judy and see another stylist!! LOL She is stuck with me until one of us dies or retires!

Finally found a hair studio in San Diego that I love! Friendly, personable, professional. Fantastic energy! The studio has a nice feel to it, too. The hair washing was thorough and relaxing, The haircut took almost no time at all, yet. It looks wonderfulThe haircut took almost no time at all, yet. It looks wonderful. I have been going to Judy for the last three and a half years. I once went to a different hair stylist because I was desperate and she messed up my hair, so I had to go back to Judy. Only Judy can cut my hair well!!

Judy is Amazing. Every time I go in to get a haircut, she massages and washes my head before and after. Its relaxing and keeps from getting itchy hair all on my skin and body. She is good at cutting my longer hair style. As a guy I'm used to barbers getting out the clippers and calling it a day. Judy takes out the scissors and makes sure everything looks good and will grow out evenly. If you looking for quality salon experience without paying for the expense this is your place.

I visited Judy for the first time for a haircut and balayage and had the best experience! I told her what I wanted and she made sure I was happy with what she was doing throughout the process. She is also really fun to talk to and the time passed by quickly. I have thick Asian hair that was mostly dark brown, and she made it a beautiful ashy blonde/ brunette balayage. I was out of there in less than 3 hours! You can tell she really cares about her clients. Definitely coming back!

I loved this place. So, I had an appointment at 12:30 and got there around 12:05 and had an appointment with Judy, she was finishing up a client when I got there, and by 12:35 I was sitting in the chair and ready to start, I loved how punctual she was. I will attach a photo of the reference I gave her as well as the before and after. She was really fast, I asked for a balayage and haircut and was out of there around 3:30, I have a lot of hair but she was very fast and efficient as well as very talkative. Judy is very knowledgeable, she wanted to do what I asked for but at the same time told me what the best option was in order to keep my hair healthy and looking nice, I really appreciated her advice and I am really happy with the results, she was great explaining the process, what she was doing and why. I appreciated her so much, thanks again. I 100% recommend this place, especially her, I walked out feeling amazing!
