Aniya assisted us in making our appointment. She is so kind and informative. She provided outstanding customer service! It’s so rare to meet people like her these days so friendly and down to earth. Delisa was our massage therapist, she is so detailed and articulate! My husband and I have never had a massage this relaxing and rejuvenating. She knows what she’s doing and she does it well. We both received a 60 minute massage and the warm scalp treatment. Afterwards I enjoyed a delicious mimosa! We plan to return in the future and we hope to see them both again!

LISTEN. I am a regular at the Poseidon Spa. I have had many services from facials to massages, but today I had my first lash lift with Aniya. I absolutely LOVE her! She did such an amazing job talking through the steps of the lash lift and has the best energy! Her professionalism and grace is top notch. I will never stop getting my lashes done with her. I feel way more confident without makeup on and I cant wait to see what services she offers in the future!

Our group of six recently celebrated a special birthday at Poseidon Spa, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. They had thoughtfully arranged a beautifully decorated lounge area with complimentary bottles of champagne, adding a festive touch to our day. Each of us enjoyed a relaxing massages with rejuvenating enhancements. The therapists were incredibly skilled and attentive, ensuring that every treatment was personalized to our needs. The quality of the services was exceptional, leaving us all feeling pampered and revitalized. The executive lounge was an added bonus, offering a luxurious space for us to unwind before and after our treatments. It featured comfortable seating, a selection of gourmet snacks, and refreshing beverages. The ambiance was perfect for our group to relax and enjoy each other’s company in between spa sessions. My mom, daughter, and I were in Charlotte for a girl's weekend. The three of us each had a facial from Deandra, one of the Aestheticians there, and it was phenomenal! It was my daughter's first facial, and DeAndra walked her through each step and even chatted with her about trends they've seen on social media regarding teenagers and skin care. She answered all my daughters questions and gave her advice on what she really needs for a skin care routine. My mom and I both had hydrofacials with add on treatments and LED light therapy. My skin looks fantastic. We left to tour the city and I did not put a stich of make up on and have a feeling I wont for days. Im glowing! It is clear that DeAndra is knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. If we didn't live 5 and half hours away, she would be a regular stop for me! If you are near Charlotte, please do yourself a favor and book an appointment with DeAndra. She is a wonderful person and an excellent aesthetician.

Erica, Paris, and Precious are absolutely fantastic! Erica is who we talked to on the phone and was at the front desk when we arrived and she was just as lovely as you can imagine someone being. My mom worked with Paris and had an amazing experience and raved about how Paris really focused on the areas that were affecting her most, primarily her back and her neck. She was lovely!!! I had Precious and she was so communitive with me throughout the experience. She mentioned to me that I might want to add hot rocks to my treatment and gave me a full tutorial of what the hot rocks would be like before she actually added it to my tab which I greatly appreciated!!! We will most definitely be back here in the very near future!

I had an amazing facial with Deandra. She is so sweet and this was one of the best I have ever had. My massage with Delisa was excellent too. Delisa gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. After service the manager Erika got me a mimosa and snacks to enjoy on the outdoor terrace. It was an excellent way to spend my afternoon. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience at this spa. I had a 2 hour massage with Paris and it was one of the best massages I've ever had hands down. The massage bed was so comfortable and I really liked the many different options of addons to choose from. Erika at the front desk checked me in and out and was so sweet and helpful! She even offered to help me make a reservation at the restaurant downstairs and gave me some suggestions of local spots to visit. I really liked their outdoor spa lounge area where I had a mimosa after my service. It is a service only spa but honestly one of the best I've been to given the exceptional customer service, massage options and level of skill of the provider.

I wanted to believe all of the bad reviews I had read about this spa were wrong. However, I was mistaken. My husband had booked him and I a couples massage in advance to our visit and when we arrived we were told that two massage therapists weren’t available at the same time and that the manager forgot to call him and tell him prior to our visit. Then they offered for us to do separate sessions an hour after the time our previous massage was booked. However, we declined and I ended up just going back for a massage. When I go back I’m told my one of the ladies up front that she would allow me to get an 80 minute massage for the price of the 50 minute massage because of the inconvenience we had earlier with my husband and I, so I agreed. I was greeted by a very young female to do my massage and I’m not even sure that she was a qualified therapist. I’ve had many massages before and this one was just okay compared to others. Not to mention it was suppose to be 80 minutes and only turned out to be around 60 minutes. Once I’m all finished I check out and pay what I thought was for a 50min massage which cost $175 like I was told and then I happened to notice a $225 charge to my card, so I’m not sure where the extra $50 came from since I didn’t accept any of the add ons they offered. Just do yourself a favor and avoid getting a massage here at all costs! I wish I had trusted the reviews I had read and went somewhere else to get a massage!

I had the luxury of getting a facial from Deandra, one of the Aestheticians there, and it was phenomenal! She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. From the complimentary drinks to the balcony with a gorgeous view of the city, it was EVERYTHING. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Absolutely great experience at Poseidon Spa. I’ve been to numerous other spas but this one stands out. My favorite in Charlotte for sure. The sun deck is a great place to relax after a treatment (Massage Therapist Precious and Aesthetician Deandra) were great to my and my wife) and the staff are super welcoming and professional. Whether you are staying at the hotel, or just in the area, I highly recommend you consider adding this spa to your to do list.

Admittedly I'm a spa snob, and I was VERY pleased with Poseidon!! I took my out of town guests and we all experienced it together. The massages were incredible (again, hard to please as I get them every 2 weeks). Kash, Delisa and Jessie took care of us and had MAGICIAN hands!! The spa director, Erika, was a goddess as we had some issues with our booking but still made this happen for us without a hitch. She was SUPER SWEET and hospitable! The little patio they have outside the spa is absolutely charming with a spectacular view of the city. There is no hot tub, sauna or steam room which would have been nice, but everything else was so top notch I just cannot find anything to complain about!

Book your massage with Brandon. He is hands down the best massage I’ve had. He focused on areas I didn’t even know j needed focus on (my TMJ) and I felt such relief after my massage with him. He’s an expert and will treat you right. Will definitely book with him again.

I received a facial from Nadirah as a birthday gift from my fiancé. She is the kindest and most amazing esthetician I've ever had. She truly made the experience so much better. She addressed my skincare concerns and gave me helpful tips. As well as having such a kind heart and truly connecting with me as her client. Highly recommend her!!! 💖 I'll definitely be back when I need a little more rejuvenation!

I recently visited the Poseidon Spa and had a wonderful massage experience with Precious. She was very knowledgeable about the different types of add ons and was able to tailor the massage to my specific needs. She used a variety of techniques to relax my muscles and relieve my stress. I felt completely rejuvenated after my massage. The spa itself is very clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend Poseidon Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage experience. Initially a bad experience with an employee during the booking process but a great service provided by the spa and the massage therapists. My wife and I went for a baby moon and we loved the experience. Massage therapists Precious and Jessie were a cut above. They really did a fantastic job in explaining the process and then doing a job fit for a king and queen. The front desk manager was also very welcoming and very professional. We would have booked another massage had we had more time. Can't wait to go back again. A+

My girlfriend and I had the best experience while visiting the Poseidon spa. It’s located in the Grand Bohemian Hotel. My therapist Kash was phenomenal! She provided me the best deep tissue massage I’ve had yet. I work out daily with a focus on muscle growth and development,she hit my pressure points in my shoulders and lats with skill and precision. My gf had a full body massage with hot stones and also had nothing but great things to say about her experience as well. Definitely coming back on my next visit to Charlotte

My girlfriend and I received a couples massage today and it was so relaxing & wonderful. Demonte and Precious were kind and easy going, they made us feel instantly relaxed & welcomed. They 100% listened to our needs and our massages felt so good! The front desk staff was super pleasant too. The terrace was a beautiful area to relax before or after. The massage felt luxurious & intentional. I’d definitely recommend it!

Posieden Spa Services: A Prices: B Experience: C Over the course of a week and I spoke to the staff and managers at the spa to plan a birthday spa day for my sister. The staff was very friendly although there was a bit of discontinuity based on who i talked to. The spa is very fancy, new and more expensive than the JW Marriott spa across town. I thought it’s a birthday let’s go all out. It was about $600 for two 30 min facials and one 1 hour massage. What was planned: I made reservations for two facials for us, and one massage. They told me they will get my sister a special birthday gift. They said they don’t have a steam room but that we would have access to an executive lounge with complimentary food and beverages as I waited for her service. It was a lot but I thought worth it. What happened: from the moment we arrived (albeit a bit late) it was a little bit chaotic. They put us each in a room and we disrobed and laid on our beds to get ready for services, and then they had to come in and had us get dressed to switch room because they got the timing wrong based on the staff that was available. Not exactly a relaxing start. When I asked about the executive lounge, the staff had no idea what I was talking about and then when they finally figured it out, they took me to the lounge, which had Halloween candy like mini Hersheys, i wouldnt call it executive. I mean that’s cool but not exactly a spa experience. I also had to remind them about the gift bag even though they knew it was my sisters bday, which was awkward. Then in the billing, they charged me three transactions at the wrong amount, not reflecting the $25 voucher I had from the front desk. So they refunded the three transactions on my card. However when they rebilled it was the same amount, which makes me doubt if the vouchers were actually used. The services on the other hand were very good. My sister enjoyed the massage and hydra facial and I loved my facial. The esthetician was so nice and very knowledgeable. I just wish the overall experience was a bit more premium and elevated like what was described when we booked. So if you have options, I would suggest trying the JW Marriott spa first until Poseidon works out the details to deliver a better spa experience. Or if you just care about the service and not price / experience, Posieden may be a good option.

Reposting. I initially left this review in January. My sister and I went to the spa for birthday massages and had horrible experiences. My sister questioned whether her massage therapist had ever been to massage school. My massage therapist spent most of her time away from the table. At one point she twisted and pulled my hair so hard I had tears in my eyes. At another, she tightly slid a towel along my neck to where I questioned if she was trying to choke me. $300/ hour for each of these terrible experiences. Save your money and find a better spa. This post was initially removed as the manager offered a full refund of both massages if I removed my review; this refund was never given despite multiple follow up requests.

So much potential in the beautiful Grand Bohemian hotel. This spa has great service, a rooftop waiting area with a nice view of the city. The 4 stars were for service and a clean facility. However, I expected much more in amenities for the price. Bathroom facilities are limited, no sauna, only a few rooms for services, and overall it was built only really to be a spa, not a luxury spa. I've visited several in the city and across the world. I hope they find a way to expand services and facilities. I'll return once they do.

This place should not be a part of the Grand Bohemian. I booked this hotel with the Spa experience for my 50th birthday with a group of friends. We all had Spa services scheduled. Upon arrival, the spa was empty and there was a note saying due to an emergency noone was working the front desk, but the service appointments were running on time. No directions about getting acclimated (robes, towels, drinks, etc). I left and came back about 10 minutes later and was greeted with a warm smile from the nasty manager named Erica, I stated I was there for the day and really was excited about the services, she said there was no where to lounge while waiting on my services except outside on the terrace in 100 degree weather. I was extremely disappointed and expressed my disappointment, wanted to cancel and she said I would be charged the full service fee of $170. I asked her about the policy and she stated it was on the email confirmation. She stated she was going to call and get a copy of the recording of my original call and I asked her the date of the email (still waiting on those). She ended up saying we would not be charged and she would see if someone else in the hotel would take our appointments. Hours later the front desk called because she added the service fees ($540) to the room and they were asking for an additional hold. We were locked out of our room because of this mess. Luckily someone with sense removed the charges and we did not pay. She later called me after I checked out and twisted the truth on so many things. I told her she struggles with telling the truth and she finally hung up the phone on me. What an embarrassment to such a gorgeous hotel. This review aligns with many previous reviews. Stay away from this Spa, especially Erica. She is nasty, unprofessional, and a liar.

I have never experienced a massage that I wanted to be finished as soon as possible so we could leave. Front desk staff was great, professional and knowledgeable. Absolutely loved my massage here yesterday with Precious! I simply can't say enough wonderful things about her. She has over 12 years experience and it shows, truly the best massage I've had yet. I felt so relaxed afterwards and even still today. I got a lot of upgrades, all but the facials (I don't like my face touched), and they were incredible and just further made the experience so lovely. Precious as a person, she just felt like an old friend the minute I met her. I felt instantly comfortable with her. We talked the whole way through and really delved into some deep stuff, lol, but I just felt confirmed and safe to do so with her. She did an amazing job with the tension I've built up in my shoulders/traps/neck, that's where I carry my stress and it feels so much better. A bit sore but I know that is to be expected and will go away in time. The concierge (I feel so bad I forgot her name) was also very friendly and welcoming. She gave great input and suggestions into some products that the Spa offered in their boutique. Precious provided me with a mimosa and I was led to the outdoor lounge area. It was glorious. Sort of a gloomy overcast day but those are honestly my absolute favorite. A nice breeze and a beautiful view 3 different directions. The big, oversized chairs and pillows were SO comfortable that I almost started to fall asleep at one point. I had it all to my self for the most part. I was able to read a book in peace up there for a long time. I love that they allow you to come and go as you please within the same day. I absolutely will come back here the next time I am able to splurge for a Mama's Day Off again and will definitely ask for Precious again. Thank you so much Poseidon Spa for making my first day spa experience one for the books! 💕

I had a lovely time at Poseidon Spa celebrating my 40th birthday. I booked a custom facial with Eva and it was the best facial I have ever had. This was 4 days ago, and my face is still looking hydrated and clear of breakouts. I was basically in a trance from the relaxing massage, music and essential oils she used. So relaxing!

I noticed a few poor reviews for Poseidon Spa and wish I’d read them before scheduling services with this spa location. I didn’t think to read any reviews because the spa is located in a 4 star hotel and these level spas always provide a great experience. Always read reviews, no matter what. Unfortunately, I had a terrible birthday experience with the Charlotte Poseidon location and will never return again. To confirm, if a small wooden tray of products is privately presented or marketed to you before your service is initiated behind closed doors, ask the therapist to confirm whether or not those additional products are “additional services”. They are “additional services” and you will unknowingly be charged for them at the close of your bill . Confirm whether or not they or complimentary or inclusive. If you try any of these products, please know you will be billed an extra $20-$25 separately for each. So be aware or be on high consumer alert of these deceptive marketing practices because they are deceptive in nature if the therapist isn’t clearly disclosing the products or services are an additional cost. That particular location in Charlotte has some shifty practices.

Terrible. Paid for 50 minute massage and it was under 40 minutes. Also refused to refund me after charging me twice. they don’t even have locker rooms for you to change. save your money and go elsewhere.
