Wonderful experience at Pothos. Everyone there is kind and welcoming and my stylist Abby Ford is literally the best! Brought a friend with me today who is having some health issues and Abby was so kind and made her feel beautiful. Love Abby and Pothos!!

I have never done anything to my hair before going to Pathos. I picked Abby to give me the change I needed! I literally couldn’t have asked for anything better. She did amazing and the place was adorable. I knew when I saw the little green house on the side with plants that I was in the right place. Thank you Abby! I can’t wait to come back and see you. Not to mention the little gift bag on my way out had little shampoo, conditioner, earrings, scrunchie, and loyalty card. Great place!

Pothos is the best hair salon in Louisville HANDS DOWN!! They make you feel so comfortable and beautiful as soon as you walk in the door, Abby always slays my hair, they listen to you as to what you want done to your hair and bring your vision to life. and I walk out of the salon feeling so confident! I will never switch hair salons!

I wasn't going to leave a review, but after a day or two with extensions closer now to the length of my real hair after just coming in for a move up, I decided to be fair to myself and others to share my experience. I came in for a consultation first for a move up and to get a few highlights around my face. ONLY after the 15-20 minute conversation, which no one mentioned prior, I was charged $35. Overall, during the two appointments, it felt like sales pressure for me to buy new extensions and even hair products. I said, that at this time I was not interested in spending $2k (the extension quote).The stylist proceeded to tell me multiple times how bad the extensions were and said she needed to trim my extensions after she installed them, saying they were crooked AFTER she put them back in. My understanding was she was just snipping the back. Now, they are overall an 1inch shorter-- and it's not like they grow back?! I had actually brought some extra extensions with me in addition to the ones that were installed. I asked the stylist to use them, she said I didn't need them. When I saw the finished shorter product from the move up, I commented how short they were. She said, "just get new ones". YET AGAIN WITH THE SELL. I paid $200. Now, I have had to make another appointment (somewhere else) to have the short extensions taken out and the full length extensions i brought with me - same length as the ones I was wearing originallly that were "crooked" after installing. Why not install to adjust for the crookedness, versus giving me a full extension trim? Side note, during the consultation, I asked for highlights (kind of more of a money piece and we discussed the details. When I came in for the appointment, she said she was going to do a gloss. This came out fine, but just overall brightened my hair a tad, not what was discussed in the paid consultation, so I would have preferred what was discussed . All in all, the stylist just did what she wanted, so I am confused by the charge for a consultation in which it didn't seem to matter at all what I wanted. I think it would be great to have a refund.

Taylor and Sarah did an amazing job on my hair. I didn’t really know what to ask for, I just knew I wasn’t happy with my gray hair looking white in photos. They added great dimension with hi/low lights and gave me a super cute cut that got rid of the remaining brassy color in my hair. The salon was adorable, the lighting was fantastic, and the staff were all very sweet. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

The place is adorable, clean, relaxing & very welcoming! It’s been such a journey trying to find a good salon and stylist and I finally found the place! Abby was amazing and listened to what I wanted, walked me through the process & continued to ask if I needed anything. My hair looks AMAZING! I already can’t wait to go back! I definitely recommend Pothos Hair & Co. and Abby Ford! 🫶🏻

Pothos Hair & Co. is unmatched. I moved to Louisville in 2021, and it was initially difficult to find a hair stylist that I loved. I discovered Pothos in 2023, and I have been a client ever since! I see Abby (obsessed) who consistently executes at each appointment, but the team here is highly skilled, and this is a salon where I would trust any stylist here. I would highly recommend Pothos!

I cannot say enough about this amazing salon! The atmosphere is magical, and the positive vibe is contagious! The stylists are so welcoming and genuine, they will make you feel right at home. I’ve been seeing Taylor for a year now, and I couldn’t be happier! She is so talented and easily one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I recommend this place to everyone.

Great! Kayla was super nice and cut my hair perfectly! I get nervous about trying new stylists because I have thick, curly hair so it can be pretty hit or miss but Kayla did a great job! Will def be coming back!

I came in with a hot mess and Abby got me together!! My hair is so long and thick that it’s sometimes unmanageable and she really worked some hair magic for this amazing blowout! Great atmosphere! I left feeling so confident and relaxed after. I would highly recommend!

I recently moved to Louisville with my boyfriend and was looking for a salon to get my hair done at. I got incredibly lucky that Shelbei had an opening for a few days after booking. She did such an incredible job on my hair and the salon and atmosphere were fantastic! I will for sure be back!

This is by far the best hair salon I've ever visited. I have been a client since 2022. Recently I got my hair cut and colored by Abby, who I cannot recommend enough! After my initial appointment, the color didn't completely suit me, and I was able to go in just a few days later to get it touched up completely free of charge, and she did an amazing job! Very happy with my hair. This is amazing customer service by Abby. Not to mention, each visit you are offered a complementary beverage! They offer soda, sparkling water, coffee, Alani Nu, and more. Every stylist I have ever had has done an incredible job, and they are all very kind. I cannot recommend this place enough! The photo is hair done by Camryn from a few months back.

Like stopping by a friend's home for coffee, this salon is refreshing and uplifting. The chic atmosphere and welcoming stylists invite you to enjoy a stress-free pampering experience. I hadn't seen my stylist from out of state in over a year and my hair was in need of some TLC. I wasn't sure how to explain the previous cut and color, but Abby didn't miss a beat. She expertly revived my hair with soft layers and a vibrant color gloss. I'm super satisfied with the results and definitely recommend booking a visit!
