I just had my first facial at Potion with Val and it won’t be my last. I could easily say it was the best facial I have received, hands down. The place is so cozy and inviting, I instantly felt at home. I felt so taken care of and I love how Val went above and beyond to address all of my skincare needs, from red light therapy to facial massage, I not only walked away with glowy skin, but also expert advice. Thank you, Val!

Liv did an amazing job on my lash lift and tint. I'm obsessed! They made sure I was comfortable the entire time and the results exceeded my expectations! I went for a more natural lift and a dark brown tint since so am a natural blonde and wasn't sure what to expect but the results are still very noticable and I'm not worried about going for a more drastic look next time. Potion is also a super cute space and I can't wait to come back!

Had a Complete facial with Emily and was positively transported. Very relaxing and my skin LOVED the attention. My skin texture feels so much better after this visit. I'd be remiss if I don't comment on how cute the place is and there's plenty of parking. Emily was amazing and highly recommended.

liv is amazing!!! they did such a great job on my tattoo freckles, i’m looking forward to working with them again once these fade bc im now obsessed. if you’re nervous about getting face tattoos but also rlly want freckles like i did, i can’t recommend liv any higher. trust me, it’ll be so worth it :]

10 stars if I could. If you are looking to upgrade your eyebrows, RUN don't walk to meet with Liv! When I was younger, I struggled with trichotillomania, which left my eyebrows very sparse. They have always been a huge insecurity of mine, and I filled them in religiously every day and often was unhappy with the results. When I saw one of Liv's previous clients post their results on Instagram, I decided to take a chance and try out Potion, and I am so so glad I did. Liv is so kind and compassionate, and I immediately felt comfortable and validated in their presence. They really took the time to talk through what I wanted my brows to look like and my past pain points, and then painstakingly curated a brow shape that was absolutely perfect for my face and eye shape. Having someone apply tattoos to your face is definitely a trust exercise, but between Liv's incredible communication and immaculate skills and Potion's relaxing atmosphere, this experience was such a positive one. Having my new permanent brows has been such a confidence gamechanger for me, and waking up and not having to deal with bald spots or patchy brows has made me unbelievably happy. I never thought that I could have brows this good and this EASY. If you have insecurities surrounding your eyebrows, want gender-affirming eyebrows or just think that your eyebrow shape and fullness could be better, I would recommend Liv in a heartbeat.

Didn’t want to write a negative review as Liv was very sweet when we met but my experience was not a great one. I went in for freckles and while I came out with what I thought was a beautifully done job my freckles disappeared within two/three weeks. When I asked if she could do anything she said she could do a ‘touch up session’ which would cost 75% of what I paid. This was really upsetting because I had saved to get this done and didn’t have a couple of hundred laying around for her to fix what had gone wrong. I felt the whole thing was really quite unfair and definitely won’t be returning. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I had my first facial in over a decade with Emily Vega at Potion. The massage to my head, neck, and upper body felt amazing, and I especially enjoyed the lymphatic facial massage. The products used felt so good and smelled incredible My skin feels rejuvenated and I feel very relaxed. Can't wait for my next visit!

I had an amazing experience with Liv at Potion getting nano bladed! They listened to all my concerns and worked with me to find the perfect shape for my brows. Liv made sure the experience was comfortable and that I wasn’t in any discomfort. I could not have asked for a better stylist and I highly recommend! I see Ella ~1x per month for a facial. Every session is great- clean products paired with a light head/ shoulder/ arms massage + any amount of conversation you are comfortable with. I don’t even live in Texas anymore, but I make time for a Potion visit whenever I’m in town. I love that the facials are specific to your skin and needs. You never feel rushed and always walk out completely glowing. The amount of care and energy Val and Emily ( the two I’ve seen) put into their work comes through in their touch and results. My only complaint is that their face massage is so relaxing that I inevitably doze off when I want to be awake to enjoy every second. They also carry really great brands in store so you can stock up on favorites.

I got beauty marks done with Liv and it was a very therapeutic and comfortable experience! Everyone was very kind, the studio was very clean yet cozy and well decorated - it smelled amazing! Liv was very accommodating/reassuring which made it a safe experience, they were also very communicative about everything. I got nano brows done with Liv and it was such a wonderful experience! They are very kind, with my eyebrows being a sensitive spot for me, Liv was able to make me feel at ease. They were very accommodating, reassuring, and encouraging making this experience feel more cathartic for my body and soul. The shop itself smells awesome, feels cozy, and welcoming. Everyone is super kind. I cannot thank Liv enough for making this insecure spot, so so beautiful. My eyebrows came out PERFECTLY. I loved that they were able to match my everyday makeup, all while dealing with my pale complexion. The healing is smooth and painless. I had the 2 hour complete facial with Emily Vega and am just going to say it exceeded expectations. I knew I was in for a treat but I didn't realize how extensive of a service it was going to be. I came in for a facial and left with so much tension relieved of my head, neck and upper body. The lymphatic facial massage was heaven. The smell and feel of all the facial products was an experience in itself. It was overall very gentle, grounding, peaceful, and rejuvenating.

I’ve seen both Liv (cosmetic tattooing) and Lance (massage) who work at Potion and could not have been happier with either of their services. Liv gave me adorable, natural looking freckles in a multi-hour session. We mapped out exactly where each freckle would go and how to best highlight my face. And I didn’t feel a thing because I chose to pre-numb for the session. I included pics of my fresh and healed freckles below. They were so lovely, humble, and personable too! Lance is an amazing massage therapist. I saw them during a particularly stressful month in my life and was so restored by the session! They left my shoulders feeling better than they had in 15+ years and were incredibly aware and attentive in their practice. I felt so calm and cared for in my body after seeing them. Amazing place to go if you’re queer or trans! Great spot :)

Truly the best facial experience in ATX. Their use of clean ingredients was my initial draw to Potion, but after my first visit, there were so many other things I LOVED about it: their communication, the relaxing experience, the personalization. Plus their space is quaint and beautiful! I’ve had skin issues for years and years, and Potion feels like the first place I’ve gone to that I actually feel SEEN at and cared for intentionally.
