Alisha didn’t just cut my hair, she transformed it! I showed her my inspo pics and then we got straight to the fun! Alisha was engaging and made sure I got exactly what I was aiming for. Highly recommend.

Cute spot with friendly staff! Lauren helped give me a chop to take the dead weight off and thin it out. Feels so much lighter. So lovely when they brought out a pot of tea.

I am very disappointed to write this because I had 2 previous visits here that I was happy with and I recommended this salon to people. My husband booked this appointment for me as a surprise before the holidays because we have a new baby and I don’t get a chance to do much for myself. I was booked with Leah who I hadn’t been to before. Before this visit I went to Lindsey who no longer works here and the time before I went to a different girl who also no longer works here. I asked for a full highlight and icy toner. Leah misunderstood what I wanted and my hair did not turn out anything how I was hoping for. I kindly asked her if she could throw a couple more highlights on top and she rudely told me no and that I would have to book a whole additional color service another time. I was confused because I had asked for the exact same thing as I had gotten the previous time and she said “well I’m not Lindsey”.. ok. I left in tears and she had the nerve to try to get me to buy a product and ask to rebook. I went to the car and called my husband and he called the salon and they said the owner would talk to me. She was very sweet and offered to add more highlights. At this point Leah was apologizing in front of the owner. Definitely a big change from her attitude just minutes before. This was extremely off putting. Anyway, the owner added some highlights. She was in a rush because she needed to get her kids from school. I was very disappointed because she put a toner on my roots and it turned out very very brassy. Bummer. Dory helped blow dry my hair she was extremly wonderful and pleasant! She really cared and was very very sweet. At this point I just left because this day that was supposed to be fun and relaxing turned into a stressful nightmare. I felt like my request for a highlight with a icy toner was a pretty easy request but obviously not.

I cannot recommend Dory highly enough. She truly listened to what I wanted and my hair has never looked better. She gave me the exact color I’ve been wanting a bonus is how nice of a person she is. She gave me great advice on managing my hair at home. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Poza Salon is truly my favorite! Since moving to Charlotte six years ago, it’s been my go-to spot for all my hair needs. Over the years, I've had various stylists, and every one of them has exceeded my expectations. I always feel confident that the stylists will wow me, and they consistently over-deliver. I feel incredibly comfortable getting my haircut at Poza. The owners and team genuinely care about the products they use and sell, their local and global community, and they provide a safe space for every client. I recommend Poza to all of my family, friends, and coworkers. Pooran & Z are amazing! They are wonderful people who run their business with passion and thoughtfulness, bringing a wealth of experience. You’ll leave with the best haircut and a delightful conversation. Plus, the drink selection is a nice touch. 10/10 recommend!

I loved my consult and first visit at Poza Salon and have really enjoyed my new cut and color. Pooran developed a plan of action to give me both a new style and to regain my natural color. I have been so happy with the results from just my first appointment. She thoroughly explained the process and steps and made sure I knew how to style my hair on my own at home. Everyone at Poza was so nice and so welcoming and I love the new products I purchased. Trying Poza and Pooran was one of the best decisions I’ve made and I’m looking forward to my future visits!

Hype . The owner/ master stylist cut my hair. Claimed to be Vidal Sassoon trained. Not even close. Had to return for cut correction. The lgbt culture here is really in your face. The owner used the Lord’s name as an expletive.i called her on it. Rather than an apology she “corrected me” on why it was appropriate. Such arrogance. Such a waste of money. I got a better cut, closer to home, better atmosphere at almost 1/2 the price. I’m new to Charlotte from Greenwich, CT-and have routinely gotten haircuts in Manhattan and London at Vidal Sassoon. This is not anywhere in that league, yet they claim to be. And charge as much here in the south where the cost of living is a fraction of that in New York.

I recently visited Poza Salon for a haircut and I couldn't be happier with this experience. Pooran and Sara are true professionals who clearly know their craft. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and felt immediately at ease. Pooran took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and provided helpful suggestions to ensure the best result. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable hair-cutting experience.

I just had my first visit to Poza Salon and it was such a great experience! I got a keratin treatment, and it has made my blowouts so much easier to manage. I love the results! The vibe at the salon is super welcoming, and everyone is incredibly friendly. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The staff is not only talented but also genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. Highly recommend Poza Salon if you’re looking for excellent hair care and a warm, inviting atmosphere!

Leah did a great job with my hair. I loved that they asked for photos before my appointment. She listened to how I wanted it cut and really took her time and checked in if I was happy. Already have my next appointment on the books.

My first visit with Poza salon was amazing! I felt so so welcomed, and everyone was super kind. Trying out a new salon can be scary for me, especially since not every salon caters to thicker hair like mine. Marissa did an incredible job, and was kind and helpful in answering any/all of my questions regarding hair care. Excited for my next appointment!

I had a quick consultation for hair extensions at Poza Salon. They were able to get it done on the same day as I was needing to see someone ASAP.. . I currently have extensions in my hair, but since I moved from Charlotte I haven't found a great Stylist yet. My extensions were fairly new install and were all kinds of messed up. The salon is so professional from the moment you walk in, and they all treated me with kindness, and empathy for my situation. It had such a GREAT vibe, and energy. I could tell that all the stylist work together as a team. I met with Zahava for the consult, she spent time listening to my hair history/concerns at the very end of her long work day, and did not seem to be in any rush. She was extremely knowledgeable, and gave me a great recommendation to see Jennifer who is the extension master at Poza! JUST from a quick (No Cost) consultation I KNOW I've found my new holy grail for my hair!! I don't mind the 2 hour drive to Charlotte for GREAT HAIR!! LADIES, YOU know that I am Right about that! I can't wait for my appointment!! I will update my review!! Thank You Poza!!! 😇

New to the area and needed to find a stylist. After doing lots of research, I felt very drawn to Poza. They are a team-based salon and their energy was very friendly. This was the best haircut experience I have ever had! They thoroughly consult you on what you’d like to have done… and the rest is magic. I had my hair cut by Cassi and I’ve never felt more like myself. Best haircut of my life and I’ll definitely be back for my next ;)

Went in for a dramatic chop (the first in several years) and had an amazing first experience at Poza! The salon itself is very cozy and welcoming, set inside a little house in the bustling center of Charlotte. The salon was well equipped, well maintained, and nicely organized. Every staff member that I encountered was friendly and helpful. In particular, I really appreciated Natalie's kind and positive attitude and the fact that she consistently asked for consent before touching my hair for before and after photos. Cassi was my hair stylist this visit and was extremely approachable and committed to bringing my vague vision to life, taking into account my lifestyle and what I needed out of my hair. She was very easy to talk to and was very efficient in her work, explaining a lot of it as she went along (ex. Telling me about my hair texture, what kinds of products she was using and why, etc). She did a wonderful job on my hair! This salon oozes inclusivity, patience, and a commitment to making customers feel cared for all while offering a wide variety of services for very reasonable prices! I will definitely be returning!
