Got a silk press done here a few months backs and it LASTED. Very professional environment beautiful and clean as well as quick and efficient. So many salons these days stylist are chit chatting with friends, playing on their phones and being very well disorganized. Although you’ll maybe leave with a good service the way of getting there is uncomfortable and annoying. I am going back for another treatment this weekend and cannot wait for the results and the amazing scalp massage.

Amazing Salon with Amazing staff. This is the only place where it didn't take 8hrs to get a weave. You in and out because the owner is very professional and about her work. There is no meaningless side conversation happening over your head. No one taking 10 snack breaks. She has magic hand my weave lasted 3mths. I only got it washed and tightened once. I would recommend this Salon to anyone.

CeCe's hands are blessed and her work speaks for itself. I first met Cece years ago at another Salon where she BLESSED my hair. I lost contact and realized that she had her own salon now and I've been going here ever since. My hair has FLOURISHED since going to Cece consistently. My fro is fro-ing and my hair (whether it be a silk press or a sew in) is always bouncy and light. I always tell people about her. 100% recommended for all services. You won't be disappointed.

Highly Recommend! I travel all the way from uptown to see her! It’s worth it. I’ve been going to Cece for 5+ years. Typically, I’ll get a lace closure sew-in or a pre-braid treatment (wash & blow dry). I’ve always left her salon looking amazing. Her sew-ins typically last 2 months, and my hair grows significantly! I’m very particular about my hair (fully natural 4C), but Cece always delivers.

I didn’t even end up getting my hair done. I saw online that they will trim clean, already done hair. I asked if they had time to do a Bob, but either way when I walked in they were really just staring at me. The owner asked if someone had time, they still were just staring and not inviting. She then mentioned just trimming my hair would be $80 and that is where they lost me. I have $80 to spend but not on people who can’t even treat you with kindness.

I have been going to pressed studio salon for about 3 years now ,Cece has brought my hair back from very damaged to healthy and striving .She is very professional and courteous,I’ve never had any problems whatsoever since I’ve been going there and I must say she’s also very accommodating to my schedule as well .I WILL DEFINITELY recommend Pressed Hair Studio hair salon to any of my friends.CECE has gained a life long customer in me .

I've been going to Pressed Studios for a couple years now, and every visit continues to exceed my expectations. Cece is doing the Lord’s work and I always leave the salon feeling refreshed and confident. Highly recommend this salon and Cece to anyone looking for amazing service and results!

I've never been to this salon as I am a LOYAL customer to another Black owned Bed-stuy salon. However, it is disheartening to see people try to tear down a business they have never been to based on a social media post. People need to read and follow policies of the business and the business should be kind and courteous to all guests. In these times we all should be sticking together!

It’s always a refreshing experience along with great vibes when I visit Pressed Studio. The salon is clean and always smells amazing! CC and the staff are always polite and professional. The two most important things about me visiting Pressed Studio is the quality and care that my hair gets at all my appointments. And, I never have to wait more than a minute or two to sit in the chair. CC goes strictly by appointment and she’s always on time. She takes her time with treating your hair and makes you feel like you were in a spa! Thanks CC, Stephanie and Imani. You are all amazing! Keep up the great work!

I’ve actually met Cece while I was in cosmetology school and would have loved to work at her salon, however I would’ve graduated too late for her to accept me as a Stylist. Two of my beautiful friends who are amazing Stylists there work under her and I know this business serves the community well just off that ALONE. The fact that you 1 star reviewers are chasing A LIE and affecting a black owned business is egregious. This woman not only does amazing work but gives opportunities to young black stylists like myself and my cohort from school a chance to be talented stylists. I have no problem getting serviced by Cece or anyone in her salon and I will never clout chase a LIE. Thank you for the work you do Cece. See you soon💕

I’ve been a client of CeCe’s since 2018, visiting her at two different locations, and I can’t recommend her enough. Her services are exceptional, and she’s incredibly knowledgeable, always prioritizing her clients’ needs. Whether it’s for a wedding, a photoshoot, or just everyday styling, CeCe consistently delivers amazing results. She’s also very accommodating within reason, often finding ways to fit me in for last-minute appointments or letting me take a cancellation spot. CeCe is not only consistent and professional but also a true expert in her craft. If you’re looking for a hairstylist you can trust, she’s the one!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Pressed Studio for about 4 years now and each time I’m satisfied with my services. Cece is talented, professional, personable and always puts her clients first. I’ve gotten straightened pony tails, feed-in braids, silk presses, and a variety of other services and am always impressed. Would recommend Cece and team 10/10!

I’ve been seeing Imani for a blow-out/silk press bi-weekly for a couple of months now and I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am with my hair. She takes such good care of it during every visit and I can see a very clear difference from when I first started visiting Pressed Studio and how healthy and perfect my hair has become. Thanks to her, I’m achieving all my hair goals! Five-star service and quality, and everyone there is so kind.

Spent $105 for a wash, trim and blow dry. My hair is 3A so it can get straightened with a good blow dry alone, maybe touch up with a straightener. First off they blow dried my hair with a flat brush? I’ve never seen that nor have experienced that at all salon, perhaps it a new technique? The trim was okay but I came in with straighter hair than I left. Would not recommend if hair are looking for a simple cut/blow dry unless you have pin straight hair.

I have been going to Cece at Pressed Studio since the day she opened over 5 years ago, and my most recent visit was a reminder of why I keep going back and will always be a loyal client. Since I started going to Cece I had never been to another stylist, but our schedules didn’t sync up recently, so I went to another salon. Long story short, they did a terrible job on my sew in to say the least. I called Cece in a panic during my vacation and she immediately offered her help. When I was back, she came to the rescue and magically transformed my sew in. If you want a stylist who you can trust and is at the top of their the game, run (don’t walk!) to Pressed Studio. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Typically not a high conflict person but had a terrible experience here. When we got there Cece texted my stylist in front of my partner telling my stylist to tell me to tell my partner to leave. Totally understand salon standards as it was a small space but the entire situation was handle poorly. My partner realized they left with my bag and jacket so she came back to drop it off. There was no verbal exchange. Cece comes down in a rampage screaming at me. I explained the interaction made us uncomfortable and the conversation could’ve been had with us directly. She refused to give me my money back. The personal touch and customer service is not there. I wanted to leave after the first text exchange but was going to tough through it but I don’t do yelling. Would not recommend… not because of the service but because the environment is not welcoming to spend 5 hours getting your hair done for $275.

Great service, very attentive! After sitting with the newly installed hair, I have found it a bit thin on the top, but I will continue to exclusively give them my business! My experience was just perfect.

Cece is LITERALLY the best of the best! I don’t let anyone else touch my hair! I’ve gone through stylists who are intimidated by my long abd extremely thick natural hair and just don’t know how to manage it! Cece handles is like the pro she is! Love her forever!

Cece is seriously the best! Not only does she give a fabulous hair service (I got a silk press) , but she has the best customer service as well! I’m always nervous going into salons, Cece’s amazing customer service and personality got rid of any nerves I had she made me feel great!! This salon is amazing.
