RUN! I went there for a regular pedicure and they put gel on my toe nails without my permission. I am unable to remove the nail polish currently! I want my money back. I did not ask for something that I cannot remove. It frustrates me how these people operate with their lack luster service that is over priced and messy! You should be ashamed.

2/24 update: as opposed to taking even an ounce of accountability or ownership for the issues outlined in my original review below, the business owner opted to publicly respond mentioning my *PERSONAL MEDICAL HISTORY* regarding a June 2022 surgery as the cause of the fungus that I did in fact get from her salon in November 2023. After my June 22’ surgery, the only place that has touched my feet has been Prestige. If you want fungus and to be treated poorly, have at it. — Several techs here take advantage and inflate the cost of your services to make their tickets higher, so I definitely overpaid for almost every service here for way too long - mostly based on convenience of the location. Any time I was dissatisfied with a service, the receptionist would give me a frown and an apology and nothing else. I would book an appointment with a specific person, and have it changed to a different tech without any communication from the salon. Prestige started out doing well when they first opened in 2020 but has gone downhill fast… The nail in the coffin for me was getting FUNGUS from a pedicure at Prestige in November 2023. My toenail literally disintegrated and as of mid-February (almost 4 months later) is still not the same. I’d say avoid this salon at all costs.

I am beyond disappointed. I paid almost $200 and the gel acrylic and gel pedicure didn’t last 24 hours. I had my service done last Friday evening and by the Saturday afternoon, my nail popped off during a wedding reception and my pedicure chipped in several places. It was so embarrassing having pictures taken at the wedding with a messed up nail! Terrible! I am finally back in town to get it fixed and to my surprise, the nail salon is closed on a Tuesday. Unbelievable. In addition to a sub par experience (I was not attended to by the front staff in the way they attended other guests), I sadly will not be returning. I thought by paying more, I would be getting better quality, but I have been disappointed. It is so hard to find a qualitative nail salon in Tampa :(

I recently visited Prestige Natural Nail bar and I am beyond impressed! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and the staff made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the salon is top-notch, and they take hygiene seriously, which I really appreciate. Also there is a super cool mirror in the bathroom That I’m just obsessed with! :) The nail technicians Lyndi and Peter are incredibly skilled and attentive to every detail. I opted for a gel X full set, and a gel French pedicure, and I must say, it’s the best I’ve ever had! My nails have never looked this flawless and beautiful. They took their time to ensure everything was perfect, from the shape to the polish application. What really sets this salon apart is the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff genuinely cares about their clients, and it shows in their work. I also loved the wide range of colors and designs available – there’s something for everyone! If you’re looking for a nail salon that delivers exceptional service and stunning results, look no further than Prestige. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I'm always complemented on my nails and its because of Christy! And Peter for my pedicures! I was very much taken for granted as a client by my last salon so I stopped going after three years. Christy is the only one who I've had do my nails there & she's amazing. Shes quick, she's nice, & she does an excellent job. Peter's Pedicures are the best & i always look forward to them! Highly recommend. The owner is very nice too & I've also had my lashes done once, so far, by Angela, and she also did great. I just wish she was there more!

My nails look very nice but they rushed through so fast and didn’t even take the time to do cuticle or callus removal. Also we asked for normal polish and they just put gel on anyway and made us pay for that

Absolutely amazing experience! I came in for a vacation and really needed a pedicure! I also got my eyebrows and lip waxed, and nail removal! SAMMY WAS SO GREAT! She did all three of my services and I absolutely appreciate her for making sure everything was perfect! Julie works the front desk and when I tell you her customer service is absolutely Superb! They even accommodated my friend who just tagged along! I’m telling you- If you are in Tampa- this place is professional, clean and calming! I will only come here when I am in Tampa!

Good service but they be trying to scam you making you pay more than what you should.. first time there yesterday for a pedicure which was $60, handed the lady $100 bill & now they say I owe them $80 but not willing to check the cameras? How is that even possible ?

Everything was very tidy and very organized. Julissa was incredibly sweet and patient when doing my eyebrows. They’ve never looked better and I’ll absolutely be back.

Bridal party of 6, we had an appointment at a different location that turned us away, prestige nail bar took us all in immediately and treated us all with kindness and professionalism. A bit on the pricey side but they did a wonderful job and saved our day

I used to LOVE this place. Even though it was overpriced compared to the nail salons in the area, I didn't mind paying extra because Ben always did a fantastic job and took care of my nails. I was away for a few months and called to make an appt (as always, I requested Ben). When I arrived, I was told he had stopped working there, which was disappointing, but I was already there. What could go wrong, right? This new nail tech RUINED my natural nails. I was super specific about what I wanted (simple gel manicure, square nails); I ended up with some acrylic-like material, which I asked her to remove when I noticed that it wasn't regular gel. She kept on saying "she knew what she was doing" "she knew what I wanted" so I just stood up. A new tech tried to remove it, but it was impossible to remove it entirely. In the end, I ended up with the residue, and my nails were in so much pain as she also cut me endless times while cleaning my cuticles. I complained to the front desk staff (who was the only person genuinely concerned because she had seen my nails before the service). She called the owner, who said she would give me a callback. She still has not reached out, so that tells you everything you need to know. Of course, I won't be coming back.

Prestige Nails was absolutely amazing!! They squeezed my bridal party in last minute after Tampa Nails cancelled our reservation morning of without any reason or apology. Prestige took pictures of us, let us all sit together, and overall they were absolutely amazing!! The nails all turned out gorgeous! Would absolutely recommend!

Spent $100 for a FILL, to say I'm shocked is an understatement. Minutes after getting home my nail broke. When I went back they put a fake nail on only one nail (Could've just got press ons at CVS) and it looks HORRIBLE. This place is a scam, and not worth going back for the third time in one day. Going to have to get these redone ASAP.

The salon is amazing. Not only do they offer a wide variety of services but they go above and beyond expectations when present. I will say that the quality of service goes down when Julie isn’t present, but she’s there almost every day so it’s on rare occasion.

I'm from out of town and just happened to be staying down the street from the salon. I was able to walk in and get a pedicure. I got Christy. She done an amazing job and just so sweet. If I'm ever in this area again will definitely stop in. Thanks for the great service.

I found this location when visiting tampa staying in the Edition Hotel. The concierge in the hotel referred them and said they were the best local salon Walking in it is clean, friendly and professional I'll always come here when visiting from Miami.

I had an exceptional experience at this upscale nail salon downtown. The staff are incredibly skilled and attentive, providing top-notch services. I switched from my normal dip manicures to soft gel manicures with this salon. After two months of 3-4 fills my nails have grown long and healthy with NO BREAKAGE like I’ve experienced before from the results of other salons. I’m usually someone who prefers minimal enhancement because of the upkeep BUT i was open to getting some acrylic added to my big toes with my pedicures and my feet haven’t looked better 😁 I’ve had multiple nail services from different staff, They are amazingly talented with pedicure transformations , nail art/ designs and have expertise in choosing custom color combinations. The owner has paid attention to detail in all aspects of her customer’s experience and service, and has put together a strong, talented team & paired it with a recharging, social , and fun environment to get your beauty services done at , while catching up with friends, going on a couples pedi date, or just solo self care. I wanted this place to be my new spot since I live close by. However, I had the fastest and one of the worst pedicures I’ve ever had. The massage lasted maybe 20 seconds. 👎🏼 The technician didn’t even bother to wipe off the “massage” oil … so I had to stop by CVS on the corner for some wet wipes to wipe off my legs, feet and sandals.

This was my first time visiting here after some bad experiences at other nail places. I was serviced by Sammy, and it was great! I have always had issues with people shaping my nails incorrectly and she took the extra time to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. I will definitely be returning :)

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this upscale nail salon in downtown Tampa. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure, and we couldn't be happier with the service. When booking services with Prestige, beware of unnecessary up charges. I went in for a hard gel fill manicure fill and a gel pedicure and my total came to $155. I was charged multiple “nail repair” fees when my nail tech filed off my hard gel on two of my nails. I was charged an additional $10 for a “manicure” which included only cutting my cuticles which is a standard service. My nail tech, Christy, cut my cuticles to the extent that I started bleeding. When I pointed this out, she did not stop to clean any of her utensils. I had to make a statement again and then she only wiped my nail with alcohol. I’ve have been going to Prestige for the past 3 years and their quality has steadily declined. You are better off going across the street to Channelside Nail Salon

You will pay $180 and walk out needing a fill. Refused refund and expected me to sit ANOTHER three hours while they redid my brand new nails. Save yourself the time and money. I filed a report with the state after the way I was treated. Very sad too because the techs are SO sweet. They, along with customers, deserve better from ownership. Unbelievable I paid so much for this set.
