Update** The owner of Prestige Salon is the same owner of Prestige Boutique I was charged a cancellation fee due to the staff's inability to confirm my appointment until 30 mins prior to my appointment time. Tornadoes swept through portage this week and portage city police requested that only necessary traffic be had in the area. I called, Facebook messaged, and Instagram messaged Prestige to confirm if they had power and if my appointment was still scheduled. Their voicemail said their salon phone was down but they would return calls. I received no return call or Instagram message. they sent an automated confirmation via text at 1:30pm, and because I recognize that automated messages may not correlate with natural disasters, I continued trying to call the salon. Finally, a prestige staff member replied on Facebook informing me that the automated message should have satisfied my inquiry, and that they would charge me a cancellation fee. I rarely provide negative feedback to small businesses but the lack of communication, lack of communal support, and lack overall human decency is unacceptable. It would have been as simple as them adding "we are open and appointments are being taken as scheduled" to their voice message system. instead I have spent most of my Friday trying to contact this salon to only be charged a fee for their negligence. Shame on you Prestige. ** Kzoo community, don't take my word for the unprofessional business interactions of this salon. Simply filter to the negative reviews and you will see, first hand, the baseless/defensive responses from the salon owner.

I recently visited Prestige Salon & Boutique, and I cannot express how thrilled I am with my experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the friendly staff that made me feel right at home. My stylist, Olivia was amazing and my hair color turned out perfect. What really stood out to me was the level of professionalism and care that Olivia showed. She was not just trying to rush through the appointment; she genuinely wanted to ensure that I left feeling beautiful and satisfied. The salon itself was clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic environment. I also loved the little touches, like the cute boutique Overall, I highly recommend Prestige Salon & Boutique to anyone looking for a top-notch hair experience. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment and can’t wait to return!

My stylist was super nice and she did a great job cutting my hair. Usually no one knows what to do with curly hair but my girl had my back. She checked in at the right times to make sure she wasn't making any cuts that didn't align with how I wanted my hair to turn out. Idk about the establishment as a whole but Macey gets a 10/10 from me

Olivia gave me a much needed haircut! Told her what i wanted, she listened and asked a lot of questions, and told me what she was going to do/how much to cut before doing it. I have wavy hair and she cut it so I can wear it natural or styled with heat. Thank you!

Olivia is amazing! She is excellent with color and I always love the results. Have been going to her for several years and this is the healthiest my hair has been. My daughter received a haircut and style from Macie for the first time. She listened to what my daughter wanted and gave her some extra pampering since she knew she had a headache at the time. Alexis has done a great job of ensuring all services provided are high quality at all times. Love the boutique items added to the shop. Highly recommend!!!

I took my daughter here to get her hair trimmed and they messed it up. It's very important to let people know if you're not good with cutting curly hair because my daughter came home from school after wearing it all day and was almost in tears. You can see how uneven it is and a little chunks missing in different spots . I'm not a hair stylist but I questioned cutting the curls without brushing them out . $55 for messed up haircut Plus the money I had to pay to go to a new place to fix it. I was not a happy camper. Alexis is the owner and she is the one that cut it. I have straight hair and mine is uneven as well but I don't even care about mine. I was going to put zero stars but I have to at least put one to post.

I went to prestige salon for a full color transition. I could not be happier with the outcome. Olivia was kind, answered all my questions and explained realistic expectations. i truly enjoyed the experience. as added razzle dazzle, the aesthetic of the salon is peaceful and relaxing with all the plants.

Alexis Nicole knows hair. she is very professional and knowledgeable in what she does she knows how long it takes for her to get the job done so you know ahead of time how long your appointment will take. She has a great personality that makes you feel very comfortable with her. She knows what products are best for your specific hair . The salon is beautiful its clean and very relaxing. I am so happy to be one of her clients.

Update 7/31/24: Booked an appointment with Olivia again, and she really helped me do a 180 on my hair! Walked out with wispy, Jenna Ortega style hair and I'm in love! Thanks again, Olivia! You are a Rockstar! ✨️ ‐--------‐----------‐-------------- I will be coming back here! Olivia worked wonders on my hair and brought it back to life, giving me the volume I've been looking for for some time. Wonderful experience and super clean salon! Highly recommend!!

My daughter went in for partial highlights. Her hair was no different when it was done. 200$ and my wife for whatever reason even tipped her 40$ so 240$ for no difference at all. My daughter being very unhappy called to see if they could correct it was told she would have to pay again to have it fully highlighted. My wife talked with this lady and her attitude was disgusting and insulting by suggesting she knows nothing about hair and made no effort to try to make the situation right When in reality this lady knows nothing about Hispanic hair. That is when I let this lady know I would be leaving this review and hung up on her. We have before and after pictures we have posted on other platforms many of which said they will not be going to this place of "business" Straight up robbed us for 240$ and we will be sure to save others from going to this place. Save your money go elsewhere. After reading her bad reviews it's funny how the same thing seems to happen she wasn't rude and she tries to justify her bad work by suggesting the paying customer doesn't know what they are talking about. Where I'm from you ask for something you get what you ask for then you pay for it. In this case we paid for something we did t ask for we even showed her a picture of what we wanted. Sad

Chelby did a wonderful job with my hair. I have fine pretty unmanageable hair and she gave me great tips on how I can style it better. She also gave me a wonderful haircut. Chelby is very sweet and personable, also she gave me great costumer service. I will to go to get my hair done here again

I came to this salon because I hear good things bout it on Facebook and they had a special going on for haircuts. I have thick long hair and I came to the salon for facial framing and layers. The first cut made was a a thick chunk taken out in the front. I left with choppy bangs and a an uneven hair cut. The girl who started cutting my hair ended up being replaced by the supervisor due to her inability to cut hair. I was even told by one employee that she can’t magically glue hair back on. Very unprofessional and it’s literally the worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten in my life. They even ended up charging me for the cut even though it was so unprofessionally done. The supervisor rushed through my haircut at the end to take pictures of a clients hair.

We've always seen Alexis for hair color for my daughter, so I was a little nervous when I came in and Alexis was out sick and Chelby was covering for her. I should've known Alexis would leave me in good hands! Chelby did a very thorough job determining what colors would best cover my gray hair while staying as close to my current color as possible. (I didn't want a drastic change). She did an amazing job and was very kind and very professional!!! Already have my touch-up appointment scheduled! Thanks Chelby!!!
