Good and fast braiders but they really do whatever they want with your hair. If you’re looking for basic braids, this is a good spot. If you show them braids that are ‘styled’a certain way, they’ll say sure and just braid the hair however they feel like. Disappointing.

My daughter has a tender head and Kelly did a wash, blow and braiding with no wincing! Yea! Kelly is calm and professional which also helps my daughter. I would definitely recommend her and we will be return customers.

These people do whatever hairstyle they want with you! If you give them a picture they do the absolute OPPOSITE! My cornrows go to the middle of the back of my head and they are suppose to stop at the top of my head. The artist lied and said that I couldn’t get the exact hairstyle before my hair is natural and they style I asked to have the hair was relaxed. I have never been natural a day in my life and have always gotten relaxers, and as a hairstylist you know the difference between relaxed and natural hair. If they would have told me up front that they could not mimic the style then I would have went elsewhere. But, because that are money hungry, they lied and said that they could do it, that they have done it many times and it’s no problem. Also, when I messaged for the hairstyle they told me one price, when I got to the shop they charged me $40+. The stylist told me when I was at the shop that they she’s know that the style I received is not the style I asked for and that they will redo it in another day. Days later and after ignoring all of my texts she(Ngantar) is now changing her whole story about the hairstyle. She specifically told me that she knows the hairstyle was not what I asked for, now she is telling me this is exactly what I asked for. FYI the “owner” and all of her braiders for the 2 years I have been coming there has ALWAYS been late, but I’ve given them grace. I always asked SEVERAL time for them to redo my hair and they never responded to me, but the second I ask for a refund, you want to respond. You offered to give me the $50 from my $170 I paid after 2 weeks later! I asked, “$50 out of $170?” And there was NEVER a response! They are very unprofessional and very untruthful! The owner specifically told me as I was finishing up that she knows the style is incorrect and that I can get it redone, when they had time. I messaged and NEVER got a response for them to redo my hair. Every time I came to get my hair done, the two ladies brought that very young kids, I had NO problem, I played with them as I got my hair done. I seriously cannot believe as a business owner you would lie about things that went on with your clients. Please take accountability and count it as a loss. Also, the shop was NEVER busy, hence you leaving the second I sit in the chair. By the way, after you refused to fix my hair I took the style down! I had it up for 6 days waiting to see if you all would redo, but you all decided to tell me you wouldn’t be able to redo and just stopped responding to me. There’s a difference between harassing and trying to get a hold of someone who’ve you’ve paid money to and they didn’t do what they were suppose to do. God bless you all. I nicely asked if it could be fixed and they decided to read my message and NOT respond. Now that I am asking for a refund, they are switching the story and telling me that the hairstyle is exactly what I asked for. This is not cool and very unprofessional. IF YOU ASK IF THEY CAN DO A SPECIFIC STYLE THEY WILL SAY YES TO MAKE MONEY! THEY WILL ALSO BE LATE!

From day one the staff have been late numerous Times doing my hair There’s no where on the website that shows they don’t use heat on hair This was not the first time I walked out the hair salon with a hairstyle I wasn’t pleased with The staff seem like they always have a attitude Today was definitely my last time being disappointed in a hairstyle then tried to OVER CHARGE me because of how long it took 😑

As a traveler I look up who’s going to do my hair before I leave my home state. The reviews on Prime Hair didn’t miss a beat I have no complaints very excited. I have booked appointments out with her for the rest of my stay here.

Top tier for any dread heads out there! I can’t speak for anything else because I’ve only ever gotten retwist and styles for myself but when I do peep over at other clients heads, it looks fantastic to me. S/O to Misba (I’m sorry if I spelled that wrong) but she’s one of the most nicest, down to earth ladies in this universe. Never complains about anything I ask and will try anything I ask when it comes to my hair, even give suggestions. Can’t thank her enough for that. Now for the most exciting part and the most asked question I’m assuming, the PRICING! It’s unbeatable in my experience of having dreads over the past 4 years. I’ve been charged anywhere from $80-$150 for retwist and style and I’ll just say, I haven’t paid anything near that in the year and a half of going here. So very affordable if you ask me but to be fair, don’t go in asking for MY PRICES! I’m a loyalty member. True to this not new to this, ya dig!? Environment and the energy of Prime hair is also top notch. I can’t stand a place that doesn’t give energy, that’s just me personally. I like to know the person doing my hair or at least get to know something about them and they do a good job of keeping you comfortable and reassuring that you are comfortable. Another thing I love to see, is they clean everything before they use it and I mean everything, very clutch! In conclusion, if you’re looking for a hair salon with great pricing, clean building and tools, good energy and just all around nice ladies, Prime hair is the spot. Also if you do decide to go, tell em Jay sent you, they know the name.

I’ve been to many braiding spots in Omaha and this is officially my favorite. Best customer service I’ve received thus far. Location is very low key and comfortable. I slept through the whole process. My braids are nice and tight but not so tight that my hair will fall out or be damaged. Family owned. Owner was present and very sweet. Probably will never go anywhere else. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
