My daughterâs hair was apparently too thick for her hair to be done nicely like the other little girls who walked out the salon. I donât think they cared too much how my daughterâs hair looked since I let them know we were visiting the state. 0/10. Definitely wouldnât recommend. I let the stylist know several times that the braids were uneven and some were too big. These braids were taken out and redone to add the curve after I told her the braids were too big. This is after the original stylist that I booked with didnât show up because of her child being sick. When she did get there they switched stylists. The original stylist apparently had another client so they decided to give my daughter this experience instead. I didnât want my daughter in pain any longer than she had to be. Itâs unfortunate that I have to redo her hair myself after paying $80 for this.

We really love coming here and the stylists are very talented! They are very patient with my daughter, who likes to move her head a lot while they work. I am taking two stars off because at our last appointment we arrived 14 minutes late. The grace period is 15 minutes. We have never been late to an appointment, and are usually early. At this appointment, however we were met at the door by our stylist saying that we were at the grace period, and she needed to see the style before continuing. No problem, I understand we are late! I showed her the style, and said I understand if it needs to be modified because we are late. Hereâs the problem: the stylist was still working on another client. In fact, we waited nearly 20 MORE minutes before she started on my daughterâs hair. If you were already running behind, why mention the grace period at all? No one let me know you were running behind, and I even called ahead to say we would be late. I also feel like the style I requested was not done at all, instead the stylist did whatever she wanted to be done, as we were her last client of the day. The lack of customer service and accountability was really unfortunate.

I REPEAT DO NOT !!! do not go to this location, the others are way more better and professional. This location the ladies are very unprofessional and ghetto. First off communication is not there. If your lil one girl or boy is tinder headed the stylist that are there will giggle and make remarks or fun off .. while you baby is crying, and the lady in the front to your left main one and will tell you to book when no one else is there which is barley people there cause they arenât book and busy like the one in Cobb county. So I donât understand that issue⌠but I know why many parent have troubles at there location, even the other location partners claims a lot of parents leave the ghetto Atlanta one to come to Cobb or Decatur. Where the ladies there are professionals and caring. Also theyâll will steal your money. Iâve seen a mom come with her daughter, the stylist was in a closet with a girl, by time they had her wait she could of take that one braid out, but the big girl who clearly ainât had no clients or nothing to do just wanted to walk around outside with her friends. Just donât go to ghetto ⌠if you like the partner brand go east Atlanta side or Cobb county. Let help this place get better professionally. If I can give it a negative 5 I will. Cause they ghetto. And steal your money. And talk about your kids at this location. Only time this location is pack is when back to school. Other than that no one goes there. Please parents go to the other location Cobb, or Decatur.

I had hopes for the best.Initially We had a great experience at the Stonecrest location. I had been attending and spending a nice amount of money for both of my girls hair. I then added my son. I chose a different as my usual was unavilable. Alexus was pretty horrible. She was an hour late, very poor attitude and basically ignored my 5 year old as she cried in the chair and had snot coming out of her nose. I snatched both of my children out of the respective chairs and left. I also called another location and spoke with a general manager Shay and told her about my experince. I was promised a refund and that was two weeks ago. I never recieved a refund and never had a service for my children. I'll be disputing the 150 dollar charges but what a hassle and a sure way to NOT retain customers.

Potential Customers Beware: They give confusing information regarding booking an appointment. I made an appointment for my daughter for a Saturday at 12 and paid the 50% deposit over the phone. We were running late so I called in and said we were in our way and was told it was fine. When we got there by 12:20, fully apologetic that we took that long as was expressed to the person who checked me in; I was told that we missed the appointment and they had a 15 minute grace period. I told them I was never told of a 15 minute grace period when I booked nor when I called in half an hour ago. Technically we were only 5 minutes late with the 15 minute grace period but was told that someone had already took up our appointment, however when I observed the customers seated on the chairs; they all looked like their hair were half braided and not one of them looked like they just sat down. I rescheduled for Monday at 12. Unfortunately On Monday a family emergency came up and I called at 9:30 am to let them know immediately that I would need to reschedule. I was told that a manager had to call me back to book a reschedule. After 30 minutes, I called again and tried to reschedule and was told that Wednesday at 9 am would be fine. I then get a call at 2:30 pm and was told that because it was so late although despite me calling to reschedule the appointment for Wednesday at 9 am ( that they agreed to and confirmed that they had me down for that time), they still put me as a âno showâ and was told I now had to pay for a whole new deposit because I had now lost the deposit I had made that I never used. I told them that no one told me about losing the deposit when I rescheduled and was put down for Wednesday at 9 earlier that morning. I was told that a manager had to assess the appointment and was just now able to make the call regarding the policy that no one ever told mw about prior to rescheduling. My husband also tried to speak with them and asked them where the policies were listed since we were getting confusing info when we called each time. The manager said it should be on the email and text that was sent to us however we never got an email to confirm appointment and the text messages said nothing about rescheduling policies and losing deposits. I also checked their website and I could not find these policies there. It doesnât make any sense to keep half of a deposit and making us do another 50% deposit especially when we are rescheduling. A cancellation fee or ânow showâ fee would make more sense but to mark us as a âno showâ in their system AFTER I rescheduled and AFTER they confirmed it themselves is wild. It is unethical to charge people twice for a deposit for a reschedule and we will just be taking our business elsewhere.

My wife has been bringing our daughter here for months. She arrives on time and usually has to wait well beyond their appointment time for the service to start. I guess it is typical practice to inconvenience customers schedules but the zero tolerance rule applies to the business side. They have a 15 minute grace period policy. Today, they arrived 2 minutes outside of the grace period. I completely understand that being late for an appointment based business can create a domino effect for the stylist falling behind. However, my wife had already done a large part of the service she paid for at home, which reduced the amount of time needed by much more than the time she was behind. She was âofferedâ to still have my daughterâs hair washed but not braided because of the 17 minutes they were late⌠the main purpose of the visit was the braiding. Again, she is a repeat customer who always arrives on time and had already done about 45 mins of the work that was paid for at home..but they still refused the main service. The refund policy listed online is for cancellations. I asked if the deposit could be refunded since it was not a cancellation. Iâm told no refund. I asked can we reschedule for the same stylist and apply the deposit instead of refunding it, I was told no. They are great at hair but customer service, not so much. On to the nextâŚ

From December 2023 - July 2024, Iâve frequented this salon for my toddlers hair. Roughly every two weeks with different stylists. All was well until a visit a few weeks ago where my 3 years old was tired and she did not sit still in the chair. Cried etc. It was a rough morning for everyone, but this is a salon for kids after all. I was told by the manager (Shay) to add the $25 special care service to future appointments. Fast forward a few appointments that went well and my toddler sat well, I inquired on when I could go back to just booking the $85 braiding service. I was told Iâd have to pay a $25 surcharge for at least a year by Shay the salon manager. I asked clarification if that would be the case even if no extra time was needed? She confirmed that she would not consider taking it off for at least 12 months. I expressed that I found that unethical. Shay continued to push her point and I said we should leave it at that and Iâd discuss it with the district manager. Dee, the district manager disputed the 12 month $25 extra care fee âruleâ and said if extra time is not needed it would be take off. (please note the discrepancy in what Iâm being told here). At this stage I thought we were aligned. I booked an adhoc appointment with another stylist wanting to have my daughterâs hair done after a vacation last week. It was cancelled 3 minutes before the appointment time. I called the Dee, district manager who said I was only allowed to now book with this one stylist (news to me). Dee completely fell out of character and started to address me as if we were in an argument (Lack of proper interpersonal skills). I ended the conversation and said weâll stick with said stylist as she had instructed. Mind you I book my appointments weeks out, so they are known. Fast forward a week, our appointment with the set stylist is coming up and I receive another last minute cancellation text. When contacting the salon Iâm told by Shay that not a single stylist is comfortable doing my daughterâs hair (I strongly believe this is a narrative made up for their convenience) and all my appointments have been cancelled. Now why this again happened last minute is bizarre and seems to be very intentional in causing as much disruption as possible. Weâll find another braider, but parents that would depend on services from this business BEWARE and anticipate that the minute you express anything constructive, youâll be blackballed and refused service. In my seven months frequenting this business, Iâve observed several altercations happen in the salon with poorly handled customer feedback. It is never pretty and it always ends with the customer being shown the door. It is easy to just show customers the door and not deal with something you donât like to hear. Sadly the feedback might be important to improve the business. When people donât have the skillset to process, receive and respond to constructive feedback but immediately go to fight or flight mode, they have zero emotional regulation skills and that in combination with a supervisory or leadership role is the kiss of death for any business. After happily taking my business, money and tips for 7+ months, all it took was one instance of questioning their ethics in setting a money grabbing rule that I later found does not exist. I would like the owner to contact me as she should be very aware that those she put in charge to run her business. Namely the salon manager Shay at the cascade location and the district manager Dee, do not have the skillset; vocabulary or interpersonal to be in leadership roles representing her business. The salon manager, Shay is also enforcing policies that do not seem to exist? All and all a huge disappointment and miss from this business.

So pleased with this salon who caters to little girls. My husband and I drove from Savannah to get our daughterâs hair braided here and she had the best experience. Diamond was quick and didnât have âheavy hands.â Weâll definitely be back.

They are not considerate of the fact that the people are just children. They charged me an extra 35 dollars to do my daughter hair and ended up not even doing it saying she was resisting. They are impatient and just all about the money. I will no longer patronize their services. they refused to do my daughters hair knowing she only two years old n she is tender headed smh.

I love love love PHP. My daughter started coming here when she was 3 and they have always made her experience so great and comfortable. Sheâs 4 now. We usually see Ms. Corrie but saw Ms. Alexus today and they both do a phenomenal job. My ONLY critique is to please please pleaseeee start at age 3. The experience is made less pleasant when the little babies are screaming their heads off. If they arenât mature enough and arenât enjoying it please send them home, respectfully. It almost makes it not worth it. So happy that yâall are opening a location on the Southside. Please keep up the good work!

I paid 537 dollars on march 26 my locs started falling out before march 30th imu daughter hair lasted till today a braid finally came out and ripped out her hair as well cause the braid was that tight

My 3yo went here for knotless braids, which was pretty but not worth the price of $160. It was about 20 braids on her head, which should not cost more than $50-$60.

We had a 3:00 appointment and missed it by 10 minutes. I explained everything to the lady They said there was a 15 minute grace period for my 4 year old granddaughter who was supposed to be attending a wedding. They refused to do her hair. I completely understood the policy, but the fact that there wasnât empathy shown in this situation bothered me greatly and they charged $76 for braids that my granddaughter didnât receive. I feel that management could have offered to at least refund my money. I work hard and donât have money to throw away!!! Will not be returning to this shop âŚ..

Worst experience ever. Brought my 7 yr old granddaughter in for a silk press and she left with short ponytail plaits. The lady washed her hair but didn't properly detangle her 4c hair, then tried to blow dry her hair while it was already dry causing my granddaughter to cry. Somebody else had to finish her hair because the stylist named Diamond didn't know what she was doing. They cut a lot of my granddaughters hair and I was pissed. I will NEVER bring my granddaughter back to this establishment nor will I refer anyone. It's horrible how they did my granddaughter. If you don't know how to detangle 4c hair then you shouldn't be a stylist. Period!

This place is not about customer service. Take your business somewhere that appreciates it's customers. On my first appointment, I booked at the Cumberland location and they called to tell me that the stylist would not be coming into work. This led to them trying to send me to another location over an hour away. This didn't work out after picking up my daughter from school early on a Friday afternoon. It took them several attempts to get me an appointment at Cascade working back and fort with the courteous manager at Cumberland. 2nd attempt. I had an afternoon appointment at cascade and left with ample from Alpharetta to get there but 285 traffic was backed up and it took us 1 hour plus to ger there. I called before heading out and we decided we would try it and do a simpler style with the remaining hour after losing 30 minutes due to traffic. We walked in the manager advises me that the stylist had left despite our conversation that I was on the way. This manager took our 50% down and marked us a no show despite us showing up with an hour left out of the 1.5 hour session. It took us another 1 hour 15 minutes to make it back through the traffic. No hair done and lost our 50% and 2.5 hours lost. Do not, I repeat do not waste your time with business. They treat their clients like ****ish and I guess because demand is so high, they take your money and keep moving..I've found a stylist close to home after doing my daughter's hair for 5 years. These fools do not deserve my business. Think twice before going here. There are plenty of stylist at Phenix salon who would treat you better and appreciate your business.

Princess Hair Pizzazz is one of the best salons I have visited. They are professional, caring, understanding, and creative. They really do an incredible job. This is the only place I feel comfortable taking my daughter for her hair needs.

My daughter has been coming to this salon for years and loves it. My appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm on tomorrow and I called the salon today at 1:41pm to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. I was told that I would not get my deposit back. Now mind you I had already paid another deposit so she could be seen another day. I was off by 11 minutes. I remember actually bringing my daughter for an appointment and was told when I showed up that she couldnât be seen. And I still came back. So clearly the same amount of grace isnât given to customers. Thatâs very unfortunate.

I liked my daughterâs stylist Sierrah! She was extremely pleasant and patient with my child! Sheâs two so she is getting use to getting her hair braided. She braided her hair in a side ponytail and it was done so neat and fast! I will return to the salon again! I love how it is decorated, the place is beautiful! I have 2 more daughters so I canât wait until I book them an appointment! Thanks so much for the great service and experience!

The place is beautiful, but the managers are so rude and played so many games cut the AC on to slow me down. Then they lie to the owner about me and the owner did not give me a chance at all just went off of their words and fired me, Allah sits high and looks low , and even though my sisters was jealous and envy, I still have love for them and pray for they Self Improvementđ¤˛đžâŽď¸đ

Weâve been coming to this salon for almost a year. To be honest everytime weâve come thereâs been something off about the service and styling. My daughter is tender headed but thereâs usually no attempts to make it a better experience for her. The stylist is very rough and rips through my daughterâs hair. After experiencing this for a few visits I decided to wash and dry my daughters hair at home to ease her pain. At home there were no tears at all! Iâm thinking this visit would be quick and easy since I handled the "hard part" at home. Not even. I asked for a basic side ponytail w small braids. The stylist proceeds to give her straight back braids up into a ponytail⌠medium/large sized braids. Half way through I asked if she was still doing a side pony she said yes. After another few braids I realize the style is nothing like I asked for. So I speak up. The stylist tried to convince me otherwise. Then she got an attitude and said fine Iâll redo it. She proceed to take her hair down w the worst attitudeâŚripping through her hair. My daughter is screaming and kicking in the chair. Iâm so angry that Iâm crying talking to the stylist. They eventually ask another stylist to do her hair. With the other stylist there were NO TEARS!!! The braids were beautiful. Iâm sooo disappointed in the initial service we received.
