This was a complete Rip off experience Owner / Braider Lori Hampton Va on Jefferson. She will cheat you out of your money.I’m new to getting my hair braided. So, guess what she did…. Charged me $300 dollars. Mind you I just took braids out that were longer and less in cost. I got knotless shorter and smaller in size. She was very unprofessional. I hate doing this !!! However…I also asked her for natural hair/ wet and wavy. So that my hair could be curly at the end of the braids. She told me that she would dip in hot water with rods on it. Never again!!! lol she charged me for deposit of $50. Then when she finished,cost was $300. How when I asked her was the $50 suppose to be taken off of the cost. She told me yes. Well, it was not … lol

Chileee, where do I start when I go there she was eating. Halfway done with my head SHE LEFT!! I start feeling through my hair a couple weeks ago and my braids are all different sizes . Never again.

I will not be going back. I called prior and was told to come at 5, I was there 10 minutes early and they let me know they were running behind which was fine. I waited about 40 minutes for them to do a 10 minute style. I just wanted two tight braids from the front with my natural hair down the middle and I was charged $45. Not to mention I was told over the phone it would be $35 and now the prices changes?? My hair is not thick at all. And my middle part isn’t right, it’s clear as day that it ain’t straight. I feel like I was “got” for sure. The interior was pretty and they seemed nice but definitely felt taken advantage of.

Lori did my hair. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is cool. I paid $270 to get my hair done in passion twist. The passion twist hair wasn’t available so other hair was purchased. I had to come with my hair already wash which I feel like if I’m paying that much a wash should come with the style...granted it only took 3 hours to do my hair but my hair wasn’t done right. I got my hair done on a Thursday and by Sunday twists began to unravel and I then noticed over half my twists were twisted in the wrong direction. I messaged Lori and she agreed to fix the twists. However when she “fixed” them she only fixed the ones on top. So therefore she didn’t fix all of them. I was offered a $20 discount on box braids. But if I paid you almost $300 for my hair to be done and I wasn’t happy with it. Why would I turn around and give you my money again? Needless to say that was my first and last time paying someone that much money to do my hair. Definitely won’t be returning. Bad business.

I got medium box braids yesterday and I was so impressed. The shop is nice, clean, and has a nice atmosphere. It only took three hours to get my hair braided and my braids turned out beautiful. I couldn't be happier. If you want to get your hair braided, I highly recommend this place!

I was not greeted when I arrived. There was an awkward cold air as I sat down. I wasted $200 I explained that false hair is very heavy and was convinced my hair would be light weight. I was persuaded into getting their special talent of individuals when I wanted knotless. All because they so called last longer but my hair didn’t last 2 weeks. I will say they were pretty but when a client has this hair or worried about heaviness the idea is to do what’s best. Maybe suggest larger parts because I never asked for a million braids upon removal it was obvious it was too much hair added. Too thick . I know for a fact every so often when she lifted the braids she could see they were extremely heavy. I won’t return

Lori braids super fast, butt length box braids in 3 hours or less. Ive went three times so far. She provides the hair, which is very convenient for me. Love her!
