I absolutely love this salon! I’ve been seeing Kris for less then a year and i cannot put into words how amazing her and the entire team are. I had an hair disaster and Kris got me in and helped me fix the disaster of my hair and has been an absolute amazing stylist since. As someone who has very thick curly hair, kris has been so amazing with it. The prices really aren’t bad for the good quality hair service and kind people working there. It’s such a comfortable environment and I suggest to all my friends. And even though it took my hair getting melted off to find this salon it’s been one of the best things that has happened because i found an amazing salon and hair stylist (thank you kris)

I had my haircut with Feryn for the first time on Monday. I found her on Instagram and saw how well done she did mullets. She exceeded my expectations and was so nice and sweet to talk to. I've struggled with finding the right hairstylist all my life but I'm glad I took a chance again and can't wait to have fun with my hair again! ☺️

Update: I’ve now had my 3rd or 4th cut here. I’ve seen 3 different stylists- Anita, Karissa, and Feryn- and I’ve loved them all. With other stylists, I would love the cut when I left the salon, only to be discouraged that I couldn’t make it look good when I get home. Not here, though. Each time I’ve come home, I’ve felt like I like my hair even better than when they were done. Each cut has been versatile, fit my low maintenance life style, and worked with my tough spots that many other stylists can’t get right. I’m so happy to have found Scott and his team. Just got back from my first experience with Propaganda- it was fantastic. I've been looking for a great stylist that I can trust for a couple of years now. I finally found it. I worked with Scott and Anita via the mentorship program they have. I loved hearing Scott explain his reasoning for doing different things- Including walking through how he incorporated my preferences to how he was cutting. Scott asked me a lot of questions and listened. I ended up with a cut that is versatile, fits "me" and my personality, and will grow out nicely. I'll absolutely go back.

Chloe gave me a perfect haircut, EXACTLY the shape and length I had hope for. Not everyone can layer curly hair and have it turn out with easy flowing curls but Chloe got it just right for me. With a cut this nicely layered I just spritz with a little water and the curls fall right into place! Chloe does a great job with bangs when people want them but did an equally great job avoiding them, at my request, and took great care to leave enough length in front to avoid having the shortened hair coil up shorter than I wanted--hard to estimate on a first time customer but she erred on the side of Just Right!

Had a terrible experience. Had to go to a different salon after to fix their mistakes. I asked for a shag and I basically received a bob. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Terrible communication and service. Go anywhere else fr. Great Clips could probably do a better job.

I could sing praises all day for Feryn. So many great things about her and her work… she is meticulous, talented, knowledgeable, and so sweet! Amazing cuts that last for months that are easy to style!! Over the years I was able to grow my fine wavy/curly hair down to my waist. I moved away a few years ago but make the journey back for her. Most recently I had to make the trip for her to fix a cut from another salon that went HAM with thinning shears. I had lost fullness and several inches but she worked absolute magic while keeping it as long as possible, and sent me home with a new functional style I love. She innately knows what I want every single time. The finished styling is also - always perfection. The best on every level!!! The salon is also beautiful, bright, clean, and very friendly.

Propaganda has great stylists. I have seen some awesome styles being created while getting my own haircut. The space is bright and modern. Highly recommended. They are open on Saturday and Sunday, which makes it really convenient if you can't find time during the week.

Kris helped execute my vision with my hair after going somewhere that didn’t really listen to what I wanted. Kris was so helpful and knowledgeable. She explained each step of the process and helped me land on a really cute color combination for my hair. I couldn’t recommend her more!!!

I went to Feryn at Propaganda salon and completely changed up my look. I've never done more to my hair than a few long layers, and I went in with not much vision of what I wanted to do except I wanted it to be different, new and I wanted bangs. She knocked it out of the park! I look entirely different in the best way. It's been so long since I've felt good about my hair, and I absolutely love it!!

I got my haircut here yesterday and had a really awesome experience. I was scheduled with Tayden, who was kind, patient, and professional. She is in the mentorship program so she had Chris (her ‘mentor’) and Scott (the owner) working with her. She did a fantastic job. Of note, Chris and Scott were so collaborative and attentive to her cutting my hair that even if Tayden didn’t do a great job (which she did!) Chris or Scott were there to assist or correct. They really took their time on my consultation, which was so helpful. I also loved that they knew exactly the right techniques for the kind of cut I wanted. I appreciated that everyone I encountered was so respectful and accommodating (all asked my pronouns, if I needed a drink, offered a phone charger). Additionally, it was really a judgement free experience. I cut and color my own hair at home (and also use some cheap hair products) which is often met with judgement at high end salons. I truly felt so comfortable here and left with an AWESOME shag-mullet cut. Thank you Tayden, Chris and Scott!

I've only been here a couple times recently as I followed my stylist, Lauren, from a different salon when she moved to Propaganda. Great vibes and when I was at a color appointment for a few hours on a Saturday the owner went out a grabbed me coffee. It's the little things! I always look forward to my appointments with Lauren as I know I will come out with a great look :)

I’ve been eyeing this salon for so long and really loved seeing the shags and wolfcuts they did on thick curly hair. I usually do my hair at home as I have anxiety when it comes to trusting my hair with other people. I decided to bite the bullet and make an appointment. I requested to do a shag/wolfcut and specifically asked for them to not straighten my hair as I wanted the haircut to be tailored to my natural hair which is more curly. Not only did they immediately straighten my hair, but the cut I got was not even a shag/wolf cut, it was more of a butterfly cut. The price in the end was also expensive, being over $120 just for a haircut.

I’ve been going to Propaganda for as long as I can remember, for good reason. I have very fine and flat hair which is can be hard to do anything with. Scott is so considerate and detailed, he always takes the time to make sure it’s perfect; the cuts always look great and are long-lasting. I love the upgrades they’ve made to the space. Thank you for taking such good care of me all of these years!

Love my stylist, Amdrea! She is the best for cutting curly hair and always excels my expectations when I get a haircut. There are other fabulous stylists as well, but Andrea is highly preferred and recommended, especially if you have curly hair. The owners are always super welcoming and kind! They have fresh cut flowers on display weekly while their sweet doggo Stanley shares his treats with my Dolce dog. You are 100% going to the wrong salon if you're not going to Propoganda!

I recently had a haircut and partial highlight appointment with Lauren. She was phenomenal. I had not been to the salon in awhile and Lauren amazed me. I am so grateful for the cut and color she improvised. She made my natural brunette hair color and blonde highlights flow evenly together. She also did a wonderful job texturizing and layering my hair. I love my cut and color and it is so much easier to wash and style. I highly recommend Lauren.

Had a shag cut done recently by Andrea and I am loving it! She listens to your goals and concerns plus gives great recommendations if you’re not 100% sure what you want. She is a laid back person who is very talented and genuine. I like the vibe of this salon too, high end but not pretentious

I got my hair bleached by Kris professionally for the first time and it turned out perfectly. They’re so professional, thoughtful, fast, and communicative. I felt like they really knew exactly what I wanted from how I explained it. I highly recommend Kris for anything and everything hair related!!!!

I got my hair done by Kris first as a volunteer for hair modeling to show their skills and wow did they!! I had such a fun time and was obsessed with my hair so much I’ve been back to see Kris multiple times to get my hair done. It feels so nice to finally have my own stylist that understands and executes the vision through collaboration and clear communication so I can feel like I’m really expressing myself through my hair💕💕 everyone at Propaganda is fun, funky and fresh and I’m so glad to have a salon like this in SE.

I had a spectacular experience with Andrea at this Salon- did a big chop and got back my short hair in a new style that I love! She worked with me to ensure the length and style (that I nebulously described) was exactly what I wanted. I am so appreciative of the time and effort that was taken, as well as with a brand new client. I'll be back!

I’ve gotten a cut and color from kris multiple times and it’s always been the most amazing experience! I went to them first while they were in aveda and I haven’t seen any other stylists since!! Kris is someone who is truly passionate and cares about their craft and wants you to feel your best. They are very good at making you comfortable and executing your vision. Kris is so talented, accommodating and driven in their work. I couldn’t recommend them more and propaganda is such a beautiful and welcoming space💗

Karissa is such a sweet girl❤️ i came to the salon all the way from her and i’s hometown great falls Montana, and because of her beautiful work I trusted her and she sent me out looking and feeling brand new 🥰 she makes you feel feel at home and comfortable in her chair! 10/10 recommend coming here :)
