I booked with Rachel super last minute and she was so accommodating and friendly. She was so easy to talk to, very informative and direct about my hair goals. Her salon is super clean, comforting, relaxing, and fun with the pops of color. I loved the customization of the salon experience. I absolutely loved the products she used on my hair. Most of all, she really cared and took her time to not rush the process. I loved my experience at Proper Salon with Rachel. I will be coming back in a few months from Houston to get another cut from her again! Thanks so much!

I have seen Rachel on and off over the years for color. I have always loved her creativity and can count on getting the look I intend. I came in for highlights, and I absolutely love them. The color is so natural and it was a great boost to my current haircut. Rachel is fun, conversational, and her space is inviting and relaxing.

I met Rachel over 10 years ago and never thought about seeing another colorist/stylist since. Every time I come, she always shares the new things she’s learned or tried; never pushy but genuinely excited about her craft and wants me to have the best experience when I come and leave feeling beautiful. She’s given me the confidence to style my hair by teaching me how to fix it at home and showing me what certain products can actually do. Her salon is comfortable, clean, and I can see her investing in herself and business with up to date techniques and tools.

Rachel has been cutting my hair for over three years now and I am always beyond thrilled with the results after our appointments. Rachel has really gone above and beyond by taking the time to research my scalp condition and help me find hair products that I can actually use/don’t have any ingredients that I’m allergic to. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her!

Rachel has been my hair stylist for over 10 years now. She always takes great care to ensure that my cuts and colors are perfect. Her and her salon are both welcoming and warm, you'll feel right at home. I'm a person who doesn't always get touch-ups when I should, so she makes sure to color my hair in a way that it still looks flawless months down the road. My hair is always healthy and happy, it's hard to imagine working with anyone else. I highly recommend her.

Rachel has been my stylist for 8 years now! I originally went to her for a color correction to rescue my hair. She takes great care of my hair and always helps me get the look I want while keeping it healthy. 5 stars isn't enough - if I could give her a million, I would! Rachel is by far one of The Greats. I’ve been seeing her for a couple of years now and I’ve honestly never been disappointed by her skill or delightful personality. She will help you but she WILL stand up for her craft. If that cut or color looks bad on you she will try to work with you to a happy medium.

The environment Rachel creates in her salon, from the aesthetic of the studio to the enthusiasm and care she shows me as a client is like no other salon I've visited. I love that I get to be the only client in the room! Rachel treats me with kindness, consideration, and even sometimes has little tokens of appreciation. I've been going to her every 6-8 weeks for about a year and every appointment she listens to my hair goals and plans a path to achieve those goals with me. She offers guidance for styling and helps me make informed hair decisions. If you are looking for someone to talk with you about your hair, I recommend Rachel!

your first impression walking into Rachel’s salon is such a vibe. it’s colorful and bright and just as welcoming as Rachel is. the thought she has put into every detail makes the experience as extra special as she makes you feel. ottomans, weighted blankets, amazing shampoo process, HAIR TINSEL, and of course my hair! i feel like my appointment is more relaxing that another thing to keep up with. 10/10 would recommend for all your hair needs.

Absolutely wonderful haircut! It grows out so great too! She knows her stuff and is so nice too! I have very fine but thick hair and it's been nice to find someone who understands my type of hair and the best way to cut it and how she styles the cut is amazing! I just let her do whatever she thinks is best because she is so good and I know I won't be disappointed!

I’ve gone to Rachel for 10+ years now and I’m so thankful I found her! She always communicates what we can do with my hair without killing it. She’s also willing to take the time to figure out how to properly color my hair. I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone!!
