I was looking for a salon that would help me find a stylist that’s would guide me down the right path. Juanita was amazing! She not only gave me the best hair cut but helped boost my confidence. The salon energy was great, I would highly recommend getting your innovation with a Juanita.

Pulse is absolutely amazing! I've gotten haircuts from Vernon, Juana, and Kiki, and they have all been better than I was hoping for. They gave me great ideas and have been great about trying different things. Plus, the atmosphere and the whole experience is fun. I highly recommend them!

Amazing Experience, Juanita did an amazing job! I have very long thick hair , but Juanita took care of me with no problem. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get their hair done. Will definitely come back ! :)

This review is well overdue I've been getting my hair done by Juanita a few times now and let me just say she never disappoints. She always makes me feel comfortable and explains every step to me before doing anything to my hair. As someone who is very picky and has a hard time trusting others with my hair just means a lot to me. She definitely makes getting my hair done a great experience. Plus she's such an amazing person I definitely 10/10 recommend her!

Had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience getting my blondes refreshed with Juanita. I am a multi dimensional blonde with some tricky growth spots. Since having kids, I’ve had a hard time finding someone who could get these baby hairs blended while maintaining their healthiness and she did just that. I left feeling as though it was the best my hair has ever looked. My hair was exactly the color of blonde I hoped for, and seemlessly blended throughout. She took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life. I am no longer between stylists and will continue to go to her for all my highlight needs. Thank you Juanita! You’re the best!

Juanita did an absolute amazing job on my hair color and cut I am loving my self!! She made sure to take her time when doing her job to make sure my hair stayed healthy and she gave me an amazing result in the end. She is definitely my go too for anytime I want to change it up. If you want to look GOOD for a wedding or other such event, Miyuki is your gal. With two inspo photos to work from, she crafted an elegant, sturdy updo that was even better than what I hoped for and earned compliments all night. And she was a joy to talk to, so the appointment flew by. Recommend!

Juana is an extraordinary colorist/stylist! I’ve searched for years to find someone who understood my curls and I have found her! Dynamic personality, welcoming, and fun, I’ll never go to anyone else. I had a root beer/coffee colored balayage done, I have tried so many times with other stylists to achieve this color; Juana made it happen and it is stunning. She also did a mini touch up trim and shaped my hair beautifully, I’ve received so many compliments. If you have natural curls and have been trying to find someone who knows how to cut and style them, please go see Juana!

Miyuki is amazing! The head scalp massage with my wash and conditioning was the best I’ve ever had. My hair cut and blow dry was the best and I’m obsessed 10/10! Customer service is amazing and everyone is so friendly!

It took me years to find a salon I love in Denver . Pulse is the place. Krystina is beyond amazing. She so good that people stop me to ask where I get my hair done. Highly recommend from someone who doesnt leave reviews usually.

It was my first appointment here and I think I’ve found my new salon! Although it’s an hour and a half drive from where I am in NE Colorado, I will absolutely make the trip every time. The salon and the stylists are so beautiful, and the atmosphere so chill. Everyone there makes their clientele feel so comfortable and I love that! Juana cut and colored my hair absolutely perfect! She took the time to understand what I wanted and I love it! She also talked to me about good aftercare for my color. Great experience!

It’s always nerve racking trying a new salon especially with my ethnic hair, but let me tell you this salon is amazing. You can tell that they work with and have a good understanding of all hair types. My hair stylist Krystina listened to what I wanted to have accomplished with my hair and it turned out great. The owner Vernon and his assistant gave me a great blow out afterwords and even paid attention to the little details(the small baby hairs around my edges) and made sure my hair was on point!

I came in with fried hair from a previous stylist thinking I was gonna have to chop it all off because of the state of it but Juana did her thing !!!! Magical hands, got be back to my red and saved most of my length I loveeeeee definitely recommend coming to her !!!

In the weeks that followed being a victim of fraud with my online accounts drained down to $0 in mid-November, there were businesses that made things easier on me... and then there was this salon. I actually attempted to cancel this appointment more than a week beforehand because I literally had $0 to my name. The owner and staff both insisted that my $100 deposit could not be refunded any other way than my card that was by then canceled due to the fraud. They actually suggested trying to get the deposit back as part of the fraud claim. A suggestion that itself, would probably be fraud. I ended up getting a replacement credit card in time for my appointment and despite the cruddy impression left by the deposit issue, I went anyway. I did not bring a picture of what I wanted but LOOOOVED a picture that was in the restroom of a model that my stylist had styled. He did say that she's Japanese and her color was natural, but he also summarized the look as chocolate. By the time I left, my hair was tar black and pube-coarse. I sent the below picture to my friends and asked if there was any universe in which this could be considered chocolate. They said, at least it's shiny. My mom thought I did it myself, a return to my box dye goth high school days. He did show me a swatch that I agreed to, but I just can't reconcile his selection with the "chocolate" description that I had hoped for. Two stars because the color is at least evenly applied and the cut isn't awful. No hot roots, which is something I often get with all-over dye. The styling was careful and pretty. While the cut is even, he ended up taking more off than we discussed and I think more had to go after the damage done by the color. I don't seem to know how to communicate to stylists to do tik tok layering where they fan the hair between their fingertips and cut parallel to the hair (rather than shortening the entire fan in a chunk) but that is the only time my hair type doesn't end up looking like a broom at the bottom.

This place is amazing! You know how we used to believe in fairies when we were little, well Miyuki is a hair fairy! She is so cute and fun and she will make your hair look fabulous and magical by the time you leave. I honestly just tell her I want darker hair or lighter hair and she somehow knows exactly what I want. Miyuki will have you feeling 10 times more confident when you leave the salon! The whole team at this salon is amazing, kind, funny, and so talented!

Truly the best salon experience in Denver! The team at Pulse treats you like family, welcomes you with hospitality, and leaves you walking away looking your best. From short to long hair styles and everything in between, I’ve been coming to Pulse for 8 years since I moved to Denver from the Bay Area. My mom recently moved to Denver and had a *terrible* botched highlight done at a salon in Parker. I called Pulse to get her in as an emergency and they fit her in immediately and fixed everything! She said she will now drive 30+ minutes to Pulse just to have the peace of mind that she’ll walk out feeling her best. Vernon is a true wizard with color and cut! I am very picky with my blonde color, and he always exceeds all my expectations. Vernon won't rest until it is absolutely perfect and you are happy with your hair. Not only is he incredibly skilled, talented and creative, but also such an awesome person to get to know.
