I have gotten my hair cut here by Charley for 10 years and she has done a great job. While the haircuts have been great I consistently wait 15-25 minutes past the time I have booked because they are always running behind. Tonight I came in about 18 minutes late, which I have probably done one other time in the 10 years I have gone here. I was told I couldn’t be seen because it was past 15 minutes, even though I generally have to wait at least 15 minutes when I show up on time. I would completely understand if I was habitually late and put them behind, but I would expect some grace on being 3 minutes past the 15-minute mark in an extremely rare occurrence like this. Especially when I have to wait that long EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME IN. On top of that, the attitude I received when pushing back and stating that fact (without yelling or being rude) was not appreciated. I was told I should have at least had the decency to call and let them know I’d be late, but I am never called and told they are running behind. Being 18 minutes late is generally right on schedule for them as well so I didn’t think twice the one time it happened on my end. While I love the haircuts it, the experience tonight and the time wasted waiting while they are consistently behind schedule has made it time to find a new salon.

I should start by saying we took some risky moves with bleaching and coloring over the course of a year & a half, so not surprised there was some damage. But this is my hair, four months out from my wedding. With multiple stylist’s perspectives, I can’t help but believe this extent of chemical breakage to the entire crown could have been limited or prevented. Half of my hair! And I have a lot. There was no follow up appointment recommended at my last appointment which we usually cover as I’m paying out. So I can’t help but wonder if this was observed at the beginning stages and they wanted to wipe their hands clean of it. You win some, you lose some I suppose.

I visited Pump Salon on Tuesday August 20th with Joshua. I explained what I was looking for with the cut just above the shoulders, length was below my shoulders when I arrived. After Joshua was finished with the cut and style( which I told him I don’t do product in my hair and wear it straight) it was round brushed and looked very polished. Got home and washed the product out of my hair only to find that I had pieces longer than others and the back of my hair looked unfinished. I responded to a review request and put in my concerns and my unhappiness. I was contacted by the manager Tiffany the next day by email. She asked if I wanted to see if another stylist could fix it and she would schedule once I gave her my availability. I responded back and it has been crickets ever since. I sent pictures so she was able to evaluate if a fix could even be done. It is a shame that one of the top stylists at the salon can’t do a simple cut. I asked for nothing crazy just to take off length and blend in some layers. My feelings are hurt that I have to walk around with my hair looking very unfinished. Who does not check their work before styling? The manager has yet to respond to me.

Book with Poppy! You won’t be disappointed! I’ve spent years bouncing around stylist and never stuck with one person until her! Having naturally dark hair and going blonde absolutely destroyed my hair in the past. After only 3 visits with her my hair looks and feels the best it has in years. I wouldn’t let anybody else touch my hair now. If you are a blonde looking for the absolute best possible results she is your girl!

I went there to have my hair shampooed and curled. They charged me $80 just to curl my hair and when I got home it looked horrible and I had to redo it all over talk about a waste of money. I will never go back there.

Been going to pump salon for quite a while. scheduled an appointment several weeks out like they recommend my. They forgot to call and message me about My My stylist quitting. The receptionist just told me their booked she’ll call the manager tomorrow when I finally insisted that she called them today she seemed annoyed that she had to do work. Would not recommend ever going here at all

I used to go to Pump when I attended UC and loved it. Now I’m back living in Cincy again and just went for a blonde balayage with Madison. She knocked it out of the park! I don’t think I’ve ever loved a color this much and everything is so well blended. She’s super easy to talk to and I enjoyed chatting with her. Seriously so happy with how it turned out- she turned my random Pinterest board saves into something amazing!

Jessica was amazing. I mixed up my appointment time and missed my original but she came in ON HER DAY OFF to make sure I had my hair done prior to my wedding. Bayalage and cut look amazing, even air drying looks awesome. Such a good cut after months of growing out a not so nice one I had gotten at a different salon. THANK YOU JESSICA!!!

Pump definitely take customer satisfaction very seriously. As a newcomer to town, I had no idea where to get my hair cut and decided to try Pump. I found it very convenient to be able to schedule my appointment online. I sport a kind of uncommon hairstyle and unfortunately, it didn't turn out the way I wanted at all at first! But they went above and beyond to make it right post haste. Manager Tiffany is an absolute angel. Their stylists are trained well beyond what is required for licensure in Ohio. The receptionists are extraordinarily kind and knowledgeable; I suggest checking in with them to find the right stylist for your needs before you schedule! You'll be in good hands here!

Kori is the girl for layers!!!!!!!! She asks so many questions and I appreciate her for that. She seems to really love what she does, and works with hair with ease. She just touches my hair and it already looks better. I love her and please give her your money. Also the blonde girl at the front desk is so so sweet, she's so good at being nice and looking pretty, has customer service locked in.

The girl that cut my hair was absolutely terrifying on mens hair I will never return here lol she did not listen to what I wanted. Gave me some cotton ball fade and rushed through it as well. Dissatisfied

Wow. Just wow. Never have been so annoyed at a business that doesn’t act like one. What is the point on working around a stylist’s schedule and my schedule? Why book when supposedly behind 30+ minutes? Why book?! Seriously? “It’s out of our hands” is what I am told. No. No your stylist, Poppy, has no time management skills and should probably be spoken to about it since it goes hand in hand with understanding how a business functions. So, if you book, realize it doesn’t matter apparently if you are on time or not. I am never one to cancel last minute but I am highly upset and will not return because I took time off my schedule to be here for the appointment and leave for work purposes. Place is a joke.
