Manuela is so professional and inviting- I trusted her with my hair and she didn’t disappoint. I typically get slick complaints from stylists because my hair is so thick and long but Manuela made me feel comfortable! - my appointment was at 1:30 and she finished around 4p which was perfect timing for me- I couldn’t post my video here so I screenshot! I’ve gotten so many compliments

Great experience! Manuela was very sweet, knowledgeable, and professional. I have natural hair and I left the salon with silky smooth straight hair. No damage. No unnecessary hair frying. I will definitely be back for upkeep and trims! One thing to note - make sure you use the address on Google. Apple Maps will bring you to their precious location.

I don’t know why she doesn’t have 5 stars!!! Manuela and her staff offer a wonderful experience. They have flexible scheduling, awesome customer service, knowledge of healthy hair and the maintenance of it. Manuela is thorough and has taken amazing care of my hair over the last few years. I trust her implicitly when it comes to my hair. I have length and fullness that I hadn’t had since - ever! Manuela is my forever stylist.

Manuela is so warm, welcoming, and professional. From the moment I walked in for a silk press, she presented such a welcoming demeanor. The entire process from the treatment bowl to the flat ironing was so relaxing. I’ll be returning!

Just moved from NY to GA and was hoping to find a salon who specializes in straightening wavy/curly hair and this was my first stop. I have to say Manuela did her thing. My hair was very straight and the softest it’s ever been. She is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I’m happy I found a spot close to home.

Love this salon so much!! I’ve been going here since 2020. My stylist Manuela is the best and really has growing hands. I went for a blunt cut in March and 5 months later my hair grew almost 3 inches. It’s been 4 days since my last silk press and even through the humidity in ATL my hair is holding up great! I’d never go anywhere else <33

I’ve been coming to Manuela for 2 years and she is so sweet & talented! My curls have become so healthy & long since coming to her, she knows how to work with all hair types. She’s the only person I trust to work on my hair after having so many bad experiences with other salons. Her color service, cuts, trims, & blowouts get me so many compliments.

Manuela is the TRUTH! This was my very first time at her salon and won’t be my last! I called to come in that day. I got there and she took me straight to the bowl to give me one of the best washes I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t want to leave the bowl! She blew me out and straightened my hair while walking me through every product she was putting in my hair! My hair was beautiful within minutes LITERALLY of me entering her shop! Like literally minutes!! She actually squeezed me in before another appointment and was able to finish my hair in 45 minutes! Did I say it was beautiful…well still is because I’m writing this review on day 2! Thanks Manuela!!!!

My 1st time coming here I was so happy because I had found a Dominican salon near my job I’m originally from NY and I thought I had found a good salon until at the end of my service. I’m an African American women and I just wanted a wash and set with a rinse for the front of my hair to color the little bit of grays I had and the owner charged me 100$ and it upset me so much! And I watched her charge a Dominican customer 70$ for the same service. I realize they charge African American women more because they say we pay a lot for our hair styles. But does this make it right to over charge us? Needless to say I will not go back! Take head to this what their doing to us is wrong.

This place is fantastic, I have never had my hair this beautiful before! Manuela is kind, warm and leaves your hair dreamy. While I was there the other stylist did several hairstyles and everything was amazing. I am looking forward to going again.

I absolutely love this shop and all of the women inside!! Manuela is just my most favorite stylist of all time. She’s so gentle, her energy is amazing and she’s very efficient. I’ve been a patron of this salon for almost 2 years and I’ll continue to patronize this establishment as long as she’s here! The wash lady is the best also, she puts me to sleep every time. I truly enjoyed my first visit with this salon! I arrived on time and was serviced on time! The owner is kind and very professional. Her shop was very clean and nicely decorated. My hair was dry and needed so much TLC after being braided for the last few months. I received a herbal steam treatment, roller set and blow out. I left there with silky, bouncy and vibrant hair! I already went online and scheduled my next appointment!

Update : it’s been almost 7 years since I’ve been coming here and I still love just as much if not more. Luz retired and I now do my hair with her daughter Manuela and I LOVE her too. She’s professional, knowledgeable, funny, and just an all around lovely person. I just had some balayage done and I am over the moon happy. I could not recommend this salon enough. You will not be disappointed ! I moved from Miami three years ago and the first thing I did was look for a Dominican hair salon since that's who I've used all my life. I was nervous and worried that I would not be able to find someone as good as the lady that I had in Miami. I found Punta Cana Hair Salon through Yelp and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed. Luz, the owner, is the one who usually cuts and styles my hair. I LOVE her. She is sweet, fast, and she has given my hair so much health and life. I can honestly say that she is BETTER than the lady I had at Miami for years. I always come out of there feeling fabulous and people always compliment how my hair feels and looks. I've also had my styled by Yoneisy and she is so amazing and friendly, genuinely a sweet person. My sister came to visit me from Miami earlier this year and she had her hair blow dried by Yoneisy and my sister went back to Miami with her hair still perfectly styled and she could not stop raving about how much she loved her work. She said : "I wish Yoneisy lived in Miami.". I highly recommend this business!!
