This was my first time at this salon and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer! My hair going in was an awful mess! Stella was so patient and took the time to find out exactly what I wanted in a cut and color. I walked out of there looking like a million bucks! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a new stylist!

Had the worst haircut of my life. Asked for faded sides and an inch off the top but ended up with a chopped uneven sides and back. Of course I was asked if I like the cut but you don’t let someone touch your hair after they butchered it once. Appointment was for 45 minutes but I was rushed out in 20 and that’s with a wash. I had Mery for my cut. This is a men’s cut so can’t speak for women’s services.

I guess it’s my fault I had a bad experience bc I didn’t listen to my gut. The experience started with my stylist arriving late and then proceeding to do her own hair for a whole minute while ignoring me. Once she was happy with what she looked like, I was greeted and we got talking about what I wanted to do. I told her I wanted to do 7n which is a nice ashy blond which I had gotten done before when fixing a bad bleach job and enjoyed; my natural hair is really dark like about a 3, everyone that knows about hair dying is probably smacking their heads rn since they’re aware of what happens when you try lighting dark hair to that level without any bleach(I was definitely not aware). With that in mind you can understand my confusion on the conversation I had with her about it, because she said the only difference in tone would be that it’d come out a bit darker which I was fine with! We start the dying process and another red flag I ignored comes right up, she starts with my roots first (which is apparently the wrong way to do it since they lighten faster due to scalp heat) then she forgets about me or something bc she came back in a rush and started doing it all in a hurry. We wait and voilà I look like Ronald McDonald if he went to a bad stylist for his do🤡, I end up with patchy orange hair and light orange roots! After I take a second to process and she diffuses my hair to see if it’ll magically make her mistake disappear, I say that it’s not what I asked for and ask what happened. She then tells me that it happened because “hair can’t be lightened more than 4 times naturally without getting brass”, so she was aware of this but contradicted herself when we were deciding what to do. When I inquire on what we can do to make it better she makes a comment while laughing about being able to fix it if I paid for a whole other dyeing service, since this was my second time ever being in a salon I thought that it was my responsibility for having chosen the wrong person to do my hair. So I pay for the service($95), and tip her because of my own personal values and not because I appreciated her work, and head to Sally’s to get dye to fix my own hair. It’s there that the awesome cashier tells me that I can prob ask them to fix it for free and gives me the rundown of how salons work, so that’s what I do. I go back and speak to someone who’s helpful and she gets me back in the chair to try fixing it, and that’s an endeavor that ultimately failed. My roots are still orange and my hair is a couple of shades lighter than my natural color, which is not what I was going for, but at least I won’t be scaring ppl in the street. Even though I no longer looked like a clown I still felt like one when they told me the color used to fix my hair was only semi permanent and I’d eventually go back to the orange. Never ever did anyone even mention giving me my money back, that whole awful 2:30 hr experience isn’t something I wish on anyone who doesn’t know much about getting their hair done to stand up for themselves. I know this is really long and I doubt anyone has made it this far, but I hope your boss did Stephanie. So they can have a nice long conversation with you about acting and speaking like a professional in your field, bc that’s what people go to salons for. Hand a nice one Thanks to Stella and the other girls for just making my time there bearable and actually making her fix her mistake, yall are the only reason this has any stars at all. No pics cuz I don’t need digital proof of me looking like pennywise out on the internet, I’m Brazilian and have naturally curly hair. The rest ur imagination can do.

She was able to achieve exactly what I had envisioned for my hair, something that no one has managed to do before. I came in with specific requests: to cover my greys, add highlights, and trim off the dead ends. Tahira executed each task flawlessly. The color blending was seamless, and the highlights added a beautiful dimension to my hair. The cut was precise, leaving my hair looking healthy and refreshed. I went three times. It was a little like Goldilocks. The first time I was white blond (asked to have my roots done and came out vastly different) the second I was too bland (wanted warm got dirty blond) this time I got a botched mix of red yellow and white: it was $300. Won’t be back sadly. I if you are looking for a clean comfy skilled place this is not it. Too bad..

Pricey but a good experience! (the website said “$185 and up” and I got charged $280 total for a balayage ($245) and glaze ($35)… they said the website is wrong and outdated. So then I asked why I was getting charged for a glaze when I was just told $245 total for the whole balayage, and I was explained the glaze it’s the tint itself so it’s separate.. which oh well, at that point the whole thing was already done), but I got a 10% discount for being a first time client. Mery made the process feel so professional, personable and so relaxing. The receptionist had a great sense of humor and quick to help. This was my first time doing a balayage and mery explains what colors look best with your skin tone. She makes sure to note the products and processes you’ve done to your hair prior to your visit so she can best match the look you’re now going for and not over treat/burn your hair with bleach. I feel like mine was a little over processed, it feels dehydrated and brittle, but she is insightful on how to best care for your hair after treating it. Honestly might treat my hair on my own next time, but it was a decent experience for my first time doing anything at a salon in years.

They are a great salon, unfortunately since covid I've been dying my hair black, so there was no way to go any shade of red like I wanted without extreme bleaching, and she warned me my hair could snap off if we went that way. They definitely know their stuff, but I was just disappointed that I'll basically have dark hair for the rest of my life unless I'm willing to take the chance of losing the quality of my hair or my hair as a whole. But the staff was super friendly and very honest. I'm glad she didn't just say "Sure we can do that" without warning me of the consequences to my hair quality.

Went in for some layers and to get bangs. Tahira was great, she listened to me, worked with me and was very skillful. Everyone at the salon was welcoming and friendly. Good prices and I'm so happy with the results.

i was really relieved after going here cause my last few haircuts had not been what i wanted and i hadn’t had a stylist who i could tell actually cared in a while 😭 my stylist was haley and she ate it looks so good and i love it and this place has good vibes too i will definitely go here again 😍
