This review is long overdue. I've been jumping hair salons for years. I could never find a hairstylist I liked enough to go back to consistently, or how my hair quickly looked like I had nothing done after about a month. It's been 3 months since my first visit to Pura Vida, and I still love how my hair looks. Shauna talked everything through beforehand, and also had great ideas to make it last. I finally found my salon and hairstylist.

My new salon in Dallas! I had the pleasure of having Amber as my stylist. I just needed a trim and a gloss and she did a really great job of listening to my wants and needs. She advised me what would be best for my hair goals and I truly appreciate that! My hair looks gorgeous and healthy. I will be back!

I've been coming here for 6 years ever since I moved to Dallas and there's nothing not to like about this place. James, the owner, and his team are both friendly and very professional. Highly recommend this place.

The entire staff is about results. They know their craft well and take time to understand what their clients want to achieve. Consultations are through and thoughtful. Gabriel does beautiful work consistently and stays current on technique and product. Best of all, the salon is unfussy, casual, and comfortable. Attention is given to the client and craft. Pricing is consistent with location and quality work.

This place does not respect or service ethnic hair. They failed to respond to my partners complaint. If any of you understand what pura vida means, you would have expected a different experience from a place. They should change their name to pura BASURA.

Andrew did an amazing job fixing outlet issues, panel issues and installing a surge protector for the house. Andrew came through nabbing parts and bringing them to the house which really made the project go faster and smoother. An amazing experience and outstanding customer service. John Heating & Air Conditioning is the best.

James and his staff are the absolute best! Beautiful salon and quality of work from all of the stylists is amazing! Very competitive/reasonable prices for Uptown Dallas and it is very clear they care a lot about their customers and employees!

The place when you first walk in, makes you feel as if you been here many times over. I really loved the quality of care and interest they show especially for my first time. They have a lot of amazing stylist and all make you feel like home. I was with Gabriel and let me just say if I could rate higher I would, amazing guy great with his work he doesn’t demand you go a certain way or say yes to everything you say just to not scare you away. He tells you how it is and what’s possible, what won’t work and gets straight too it, upfront, love that. This place is great, if your looking for a new place to try out I’d definitely give this place a visit.

First-time client and I was thoroughly impressed and pleased. Great cut from Whitney who really took her time to find out what I wanted and explain what she planned to do...that's pretty rare these days. I did get the cut I wanted and love it!! Salon is upscale yet inviting and fun. Everyone was attentive and helpful. I've got a new salon and I'm so happy!!!!

Jenna did my hair today as part of an Instagram giveaway I won. She was so friendly and did an excellent job! I didn’t feel like she cut any corners even though it was a complimentary service. She was great at offering suggestions for products when I asked. Highly recommend Jenna, and I’m sure I will be back.

Omg, Shauna is a miracle worker! She turned my hair from drab to fab in just one appointment- no lie! Also, this salon uses environmentally friendly products, for those eco-conscious babes and guys. If you are looking for a new salon, definitely give a hard look at Pura Vida Salon; you will not be disappointed!

This was my first time here, and Whitney was incredible! We did a consultation prior to the cut, and she asked me so many questions… The type of shampoo I use, what I like, what I don’t like, how I normally where my hair… and then discussed the game plan! She was so sweet, skilled, and wanted to make sure I left with a smile. I mentioned that I have trouble curling my hair, so she offered to curl it for me after blowing it out. She even sent me home with sample products to test out, which is a first for me at any salon! I had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be back for my next haircut!

WOW! After years of searching I finally found my hair guru! I’ve been trying to find a “master stylist”, I found Gabriel , and even luckier he wasn’t clear across town!! I met with him 5 years ago. If you’re looking for “the one” give Gabriel a try. He will listen to you but also listen to him. He does know what he’s doing and is the “master “ I was looking for.”

Always a great experience have John Heating & Air Conditioning come to service our Furnace and A/C! The staff that coordinates appointment times are very friendly and always try to accommodate my schedule to find the best time. I request the same technician who has been servicing our home for the past few years now and he is fantastic! He's extremely knowledgeable, is always on time, and offers great advice - a true professional at his trade! Even though I've only been using John Heating & Air Conditioning the past 3 years, my parents have used them for as long as I can remember. I will definitely continue to use John Heating & Air Conditioning for all my HVAC needs! Great work and thanks for the friendly service.

John Heating & Air Conditioning removed our oil furnace, tank & pipes, replaced with a gas furnace and air purification system efficiently, cleanly and with little delay or disturbance. They arranged to install the gas line and meter and we did nothing but call for the inspection and hand them money. Service is their forte and if you want results and not regrets make sure they are on your list of contractors for quotes. Highly recommend for their service, attitude and attention to customer needs.

Right from the beginning, my experience with John Heating & Air Conditioning was superb! John and his crew did an excellent job removing my old gravity furnaces and installing two new furnaces in my building. Communication, service, and quality were excellent. The follow up was also greatly appreciated. I'm very happy to give a five-star review to John and his fantastic crew for a job done well beyond my expectations.
