I would avoid this place. Their massage cream gave me an allergic reaction and I left with a rash and blisters on my legs. They also charged me for an hour when the massage ended at the 55 minute mark.

Amazing massage! I was carrying a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders so walked in without an appointment. The Massuesse was great, one of the best massages I’ve had. Highly recommend them

I had a massage here yesterday. This spa is no frills ,but clean and efficient. The massage I received was exactly what I needed--the perfect amount of deep pressure, and she work so hard! They also used cupping and hot stones. Fantastic value for the money, amazing staff! I will absolutely be back the next time I'm in the city!

I love it here! I get the combo 60 min massage 45 min facial. The products are very gentle and work wonders on my sensitive, dry, acne prone skin. The staff is lovely!

makes me a bit sad that my birthday visit wasn’t so successful. One of the services I purchased was a 30 minute full body massage and only my back and arms was being focused on and not my legs. also the full body massage did feel a bit rushed and wasn’t so pleasing. okay place imo

I am APPALLED as to why this place has a 5 star rating. WOW I am extremely disappointed i found this place let alone the fact I went and wasted $160. I am no stranger to no frills, no fuss massage spots in NYC and in fact I frequent many different ones often. This spot had a smell so bad radiating through the entire spa it was so off putting, there must be an indian restaurant somewhere close because the smell exuding through every fiber of the place is of curry or chicken tikka or something. The smell is so baked into my clothes, hair and nails I have showered twice and cannot get it out. My entire apartment now smells of the stench and i could cry. Not to mention the service - the massage is okay however I came here because another reviewer said the massage and gua sha was great - it was to be 45 min massage and 45 min gua sha. the massage was fine but 45 min of massage should be about $40 - and i paid $160 so the guasha is $120??? HUGE RIP OFF. not to mention they gua sha for about 10 min, then they put what looks like medical bandage on your face for the remainder of the time and just leave you there. I am so angry and ripped off - this was expensive!! for this price do your self a favor and go anywhere else - at this price range you can get a nice lympatic drainage at the Tox or Equinox. I wish so badly I could get my money, and time, back from this horrendous experience. DO NOT GO HERE.

I went there yesterday for a full body 60 mins massage with hot stone and it felt amazing. The lady I had gave me the perfect amount of pressure for my sore body. Normally I’m skeptical about which massages places I go to because not all are clean but this place looks just like the pictures of their website. It smells good in there, nice and warm, very clean, and they give free drinks or water . They only thing I didn’t like was if I already gave my masseuse a tip, the lady at the front desk was insistent about me, giving more than what I already gave.

Hidden gem with nice and attentive staff at super reasonable prices. Full body massage with hot stones + gua sha facial for $160? SIGN ME UP. I came here after a long flight and they did not disappoint. Easy reservations online and they accept card. So lovely and warm, would 100% recommend :)

I booked the body+facial Gua Sha combo. I hadn’t experienced a gua sha treatment and was excited to try it. I had pleasure of meeting Rose, a very friendly and loving therapist. She took time to learn about my issues and gave me a wonderful facial and body massage. She helped ease my pain in all my trouble spots and reduced the puffiness in my face, leaving it extremely soft after a special mask. I felt my blood flowing freely and I was totally rejuvenated afterwards. The atmosphere and staff are very calming an welcoming. I would highly recommend it!

I started coming here when Rose first opened up less than a year ago. Pure Relax is a HIDDEN GEM and Rose wears the crown as the Gua Sha Queen! My skin is pretty sensitive and I've always been skeptical of facials until I tried Gua Sha. Rose is gentle yet firm using jade tools to smooth, massage, and cleanse both the surface and below as it helps boost lymphatic circulation which is what I love the most and what I think gives me more lasting results! The Gua Sha Body massage is also AMAZING, using tools that massage and boost circulation, it is very therapeutic especially if you're athletic. Once you get down the stairs, turn the corner and enter the spa which is located to the Left, the environment is welcoming, simple, clean, and one of the most comfortable massage experiences I've had. The little comforts matter and Pure Relax is attentive to them. On top of all this, Rose is kind, flexible, and accommodating. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do!

The massage was very good. The space is clean, but the rooms are separated by curtains, not actual doors, so privacy is limited. If you use a Groupon, they won't stamp your visit card. Otherwise, I would go again.

This was the perfect hidden gem for a one-hour massage that was affordable, rejuvenating and refreshing. The salon was cleaner than most and even though rooms are separated by thick curtains, it’s totally fine. Everyone is quiet and enjoying their massage just like you. Definitely going back for future massages.

I am so glad I came after reading all the positive reviews! I booked the combo that included guasha massage and guasha facial. The massage was super enjoyable. the space is really clean and the rooms are spacious. They’re separated by thick curtains and it’s really quiet and peaceful. Rose was amazing at guasha. Just like the other reviews have said she’s very strong and checks in to make sure that you’re not uncomfortable. the guasha massage is basically using a tool that has a flat edge that is used to glide along your muscles to help break down some of the tension and get a deeper massage. She massages along the meridians of the body so it is really good for improving circulation. The facial is one of the best facials I’ve ever had because it had so much massage. There arnt extractions but she exfoliates and massages and uses the guasha on your face. I really enjoyed the facemask which included a weighted, warm mask on top which felt like a weighted blanket for your face. Super relaxing. The cherry on top of the time that she spent massaging my scalp in my head releasing all the tension. I will definitely be back to try the foot massage and the other types as well. Bonus I love that they place hot stones around the body to ensure you are nice and toasty!
