Went back to Dani who started my locs in 2017. Had some dryness and thinning of my locs due to thyroid issues. Honestly I was embarrassed for Dani to see my hair and thought I would have to cut off my locs and start over. Dani was professional, kind, and empathetic and was able to save my locs! Dani, thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for caring so much about the work you do and the people you serve. Your prices are fair and you do an amazing job! Please check out Queen Bee's where they are friendly, professional and will get your Crown done right! Thanks again!

I usually go to a different person in this salon but had to go to another person due to wanting to get in asap, which is fine. I wanted a silk press and at first the steps were what anyone else would do. I noticed instead of putting on an oil for a silk press, she used a cream and my hair was stiff and felt dry after my service. I’ve never had this problem and I’ve been seeing stylist since I was 12. This was my biggest concern, I was burnt with the straightener at least 20 times (not exaggerating) which was painful and obviously wasn’t a relaxing service, I was on edge the whole time. I’ve been to another girl in this salon and NOT ONCE has she burned me, and neither have my other stylist. I’m disappointed in my results, my hair is dry, brittle and curly after one day and I do use a silk pillow case and bonnet so there’s nothing that I did wrong I feel like. She was nice the whole time which I appreciated, just wasn’t a relaxing service like I’ve always had.

😂 😂to start miss whatever she calls herself queen needs to learn better customer service. How you going to be rude to a new potential customer? I called to inquire on pricing for a sew in and first way she answered the phone was by telling me that I need to give her my number as my caller id wasn’t showing I apologized and gave her my number she send this long paragraph in regards to the sew in I agree to the price. She then rudely states “your name?” That was the second red flag. Then I tell her I want hair added to my braid down and she states “explain hair added to braid down “. How do you claim to be a master stylist and you don’t know what that is? That was my last straw. I just blocked her number and never went to said appointment. She later calls me another day from a different number and leaves a rude voicemail talking about now I’m blocked forever. Girl I promise you I wasn’t planning on ever coming to you. Learn how to talk to people better. I’m glad I listened to my instincts as she was giving bad vibes and I don’t want you touching my hair and putting all that bad energy on my head. Bye Felicia!😂

All I have are wonderful things to say about Dominique the stylist who did my daughter's hair... OMG she loved her hair, my daughter could not stop looking in the mirror and especially making different hair styles. Dominique put a smile on her face and made her look fabulous. Thank you Dominique!! You deserve a thousand stars. We will definitely be coming coming back. By the way all of her classmates and teachers loved it.

MAY AND JUNE 2024----Paid $80 and I give her my perm and the brown stuff that goes around my edges and when I was finished with the relaxer my whole middle was unrelaxed and I did notice she used the hot curl to straighten it before I left, so a week later it was needing a relaxer again. The second time I came and again the middle was not done and this time I paid $85 and again I had given my perm and the brown stuff...I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!

After calling and making an appt, then arriving 15 minutes early for said appt, the “stylist” then stated that she had given us the date and times to call her back and it was not an appt! Since it was obviously a lie and she was working another client at the time she stated for my daughter to arrive and have her locs touched up, we left and made arrangements at another location. The other location was willing to schedule an appt for my daughter in 2 days. Queen Bee gets 1 star for poor service and a dark dank mold smelling shop.

Came to Columbus for vacation and decided to get my hair done. I called the salon at the perfect time because Dani was able to fit be in due to a late client. When I came in I was greeted at the door by her with a smile and amazing customer service. She was quick, and thorough and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. And my hair!! Came out amazing. If you're in Columbus go see her ASAP!

I LOVED this shop with all my heart. Danielle is a real queen and the best hairdresser I've had in 25 years of living. Been a loyal client for once a month for 7 years and planning for many, many more. Get in where you fit in because they stay booked and busy. I get a wash w deep condition and two strands (flat twist every now and then). Never been disappointed with service or treatment.

I had a traumatic experience Jan 2023 with insta locs and cut my hair OFF after! Dominique was able to get me in the next day. I am so grateful for the compassion and care she showed, she didn’t make me feel bad cuz i tried to save a few bucks. She cut, styled and slayed my hair to perfection. I also came back again and had a wig thinned last week cuz it was too thick and straightened. Dominique hooked me up then too. I will continue to come back!

It's refreshing to go to an actual old school salon. They take appointments and are on time. Like no waiting at all! Niecy does a great job with my natural hair and Nova is a great braider. Reasonable prices too! Highly recommend!

I’m from out of town and I found this salon on Google. I wanted a silk press. I usually don’t trust anyone but my own stylist but I gave them a try and I’m glad I did. I was a walk in and the First Lady in the salon I think she is the own washed and conditioned my hair. Her wash was amazing. Also, Coi did my blow dry and silk press. She was amazing as well. She was very personable and made me feel comfortable. I will return when I’m back in town.

My son Sam got an amazing color application done by Neecie. I usually get nervous about my son doing vibrant hair color because it never comes out correctly. But Neecie did a wonderful job. She also educated my son on how to maintain his hair color. Nice to have a diverse stylist that knows what they're doing. I may book a service for myself soon.

She did the hair well and cut it beautifully. But she braided my hair so tight that I got tension bumps, an early sign of traction alopecia. She combed my hair ridiculously hard.

Such bad customer service!!! I thought I would enjoy this salon because it is called “QUEEN” salon. However, the stylist gave off energy that was not a reflection of QUEEN STATUS. I am not sure if she was having a bad day, but I simply asked her ONE question about how long is my wait. And from there, she was dismissive and rude. I am new to the area. I was lost looking for the salon. I let her know via text that I was late due to being lost. Honestly, I did not mind waiting, but what I could not take was the BAD ENERGY. I was looking for a friendly salon to call my home. I guess this is not it! Normally, I never post reviews. I rarely have bad connections with people because I am a calm and genuine person. But geeshhhh, this gave me a bad taste of Columbus. And honestly, I am SO glad she did not trim my hair. Because my hair is my CROWN. And I refuse to have bad energy in my hair. I pray she can find the inner-healing to exude better customer service to truly rise into Queenhood🙏🏾

THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING I DONT EVEN KNOW IF THEY WENT TO HAIR SCOOL. I got my hair dyed, cut, and styled into finger waves, i asked for a specific color and she gave me the complete wrong one i liked my hair at first and i was very upset she didn’t use the color i wanted so i told her and she said as i wash it should turn into the color i want, that never happened . she gave me a recommendation for shampoo and said i should use it, so i got the shampoo and used it to later find out that the shampoo she recommended was not even good for my type of hair (4c) she is a black stylist so i thought she would understand and know what she is talking about. not only was the shampoo bad but idk weather it was the bleach, the shampoo or even both together but later i had to cut my hair because it was falling out terribly and when i went to another stylist they said the shampoo could dry out my hair and possibly in some situations make it fall out because of the type of hair that i have. but i don’t think it was just the shampoo bleach can do that to 4c hair anyways.
