I had a manicure here about a month ago, and the girl (not Amber!) used a drill type tool to remove my gel polish and buff my nails, and she clearly used one that was WAY too strong. She stripped down my nail so much and made it so thin. She realized it and changed it, but not before the damage was already done to these two nails. I don’t normally write reviews, but it seriously hurts and is taking a long time heal! (I think I just have to let it grow out, but in the meantime it hurts and I have to avoid manicures until it’s healed!) I wouldn’t want someone to have the experience, so make sure you see someone experienced here!

Brie was absolutely amazing! I booked an appointment for facials for my elderly mom and me. Brie was so accommodating and sweet with her. Our experience and facials were so relaxing and our skin feels amazing.

By phone, I scheduled hour-long facials for me and my best friend on our girl’s weekend. Upon arrival for our appointment, we learned that our reservation was changed without being contacted. Instead of having our facials together, at the same time, the employee modified it to be one after another. I was told I could wait in the lobby/waiting area or leave and come back. This 100% negates the effort of being able to spend time together (I’m from Nashville, her from Detroit, so we met in Cincinnati). Instead of offering solutions, the employee simply said “well, what do you want to do?” We settled for an express facial, which in my opinion was underwhelming and overpriced. $70 (after tip) for a 20ish minute facial that essentially was a cleanser and an SPF moisturizer is insane to me. What is most disappointing is that there was no communication from the employee saying our reservations needed to/were going to be changed.

I found myself visiting Cincinnati once again, and of course had to come back to this Salon and Spa, because of the excellent service I received from Sam the first time! This time I got a manicure and pedicure, instead of a facial, and I couldn't be more happy. Sam once again did not disappoint. I was even able to convince my husband to come with me, and she completely changed his thoughts on getting manicures and pedicures. Thank you, Sam!

I had the best experience with my nail tech Amber M. I had a mani and pedi, Amber was great to talk to during my appointment and she did a fantastic job on both my services. I will definitely be returning. I can’t recommend Amber enough.

I have been here many times! My go to gal is Sam. She is one of the nicest people I know! She gives the best massages with your treatments. She is kind, professional and such a light, calming presence. Can’t wait to return! Thanks Sam!

I just got a mani-pedi done with Sam for my wedding nails and had the best experience ever! First of all my nails are gorgeous- the shape, color, detailing, etc. are all perfect. Sam is the sweetest and phenomenal at what she does. The salon is so welcoming and Sam provided my mom and I with bubbly water and lemon infused ice water!! It was such a treat to go to such a nice, clean, and fun salon and meet Sam. She’s my new fav nail tech and friend!!!!

I love this salon. Sam always does a great job! It’s located in a cute downtown space and they provide their own parking (which is really convenient for the area). Overall, I would definitely recommend!!

My wife convinced me to get a manicure and pedicure with her, despite my hesitation I joined her. I never thought as a man that I would enjoy these services so much. The charm of the salon and Sam's service really made the experience pleasant for me. I will definitely be back!

When it comes to salons, the vibe is everything. I searched all over Cincinnati for the RIGHT nail salon. Some were pricey (or you couldn't get in for weeks at a time). I wanted an intimate experience, where I could actually feel like a human being. I walked into Queen City Salon about one year ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. Sam is my go to girl for all things nails, and I adore her. I feel welcome, cared for, and always look forward to going back. No pretense or BS.

Eye brow wax by Jennifer was awesome. Very personable. And the neck massage was amazing. Rebbech did a great job at pinpointing where my stress was and worked those pinpoints.

I love this place. I've had fabulous experiences with multiple services - manicure/pedicure, lash lifts and facials. I recently had a subpar manicure with a newer nail tech. I sent photos and an explanation to the owner, and she worked really hard to correct the situation. This level of attention to customer service is what keeps me coming back here. Side note: Amber H gives the BEST manicure! Highly recommend!
