I’ve been going here for years, but they recently increased their prices and I did not find out until checkout. I used to pay around $75-85 for my nails, and today ended up paying $105 for a fill. Transparency is very important. Definitely will be finding a new place.

I am a serious manicure snob and care A LOT about technique and healthy nail maintenance. I literally LOVE queen spa and I think they do an incredible job. VINCENT FOR LIFE!! I literally love him he does an incredible job and is so gentle and talented. It seems that some people in the reviews have had a bad experience but I truly never have! Queen Spa is incredibly affordable + efficient and I’ve always left incredibly pleased.

Been going to Queen Spa for pedis for many years now. It’s clean, they’re efficient, and I can usually get in with a day’s notice. Definitely recommend this nail salon.

Found this place on a Sunday I needed my nails removed to give my nails a break They got me and my hubs tight in. He wanted a pedi. They were very friendly and accommodating.

I have been here twice now and I’m not impressed. The front desk person is not welcoming or friendly. A smile goes a long way. The guy that did my nails was obviously sick and should not have been working. He was also in what seemed like a bad mood. I asked for a gold cat eye and I got a peach nail with gold sparkle over. My cuticles are also very red and cut up. Customer service was just awful… I don’t know what else to say. It’s a shame.

Love this place! They always have such beautiful colors and it’s my go-to spot for GelX. I recently got my nails done here and the effect I got was kind of messed up and they were so kind to redo all of them and fit me in on a really busy night. I definitely recommend.

Been coming to Queen for 5 years because it’s the best service in town, but unfortunately, feels like the quality has dropped this year, except prices went up. I get dip nails everytime- last time, the shade didn’t match on both hands, one hand was lighter than the other. This time, he completely skipped trimming cuticles and the powder on my thumb scraped 2 hours after leaving. Feels like the focus is on speed rather than quality now. Sad to be posting this :(

Eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung! Ich war zum waxing dort und hatte wirklich eine nicht sehr fähige Mitarbeiterin und ein noch schlechteres Wax. Es hat geklebt auf der Haut und 70% der Haare wurden nicht entfernt. Ich habe irgendwann abgebrochen weil es bestimmt noch eine Stunde gedauert hätte. Und dafür 75$!!!! Im übrigen machte das Studio auf mich keinen sauberen Eindruck. Zusatz: Danke für die Entschuldigung aber anrufen kann ich nicht da ich eine Touristin bin. Bitte verbessert einfach eure Leistung. Kauft euch ein besseres Wax und lasst euch zeigen wie man es anwendet.

I never thought I’d be into getting my nails done, but Queen Spa was a game changer for me! This is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. I never ask for a particular person because everyone I’ve ever had did an amazing job. I’ve had pedicures, dip manicures, gel manicures, and acrylics done. I don’t live in Austin anymore, but I make it a priority to get my nails done here when I do visit Austin! They’re the standard that I measure other salons against since moving across the country.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, and just take the L and do my own nails until I can find a new salon/nail tech. But, after removing the gel polish, I saw bacteria growing. Great. Amaaaaazing. First off, this salon is a quantity over quality place. It feels so intentional the way they move clients in and out so fast. I went in for a hard gel set on natural nails, that tech was not taking his time at all, hence quantity over quality, and nicked my nail bed with their drill. I brought it to his attention, and he assured me it was fine to still move forward. That set was actually good and lasted almost 4 weeks, no chips. I went in for a new set, hard gel on natural nails, and called prior to this to see if they could use just a file vs the file drill, due to my previous experience. I was told no, assuming because it would take “too much time”. I went ahead and kept my appointment, and this time I got another dude who didn’t take his time at all, AGAIN quantity over quality. I pointed out the nick in my nail, and HE STILL WENT OVER WITH A DRILL making the nick deeper. Again, he assured me it was fine to move forward with the set. I should’ve listened to my gut feeling and stopped the appointment then and there, but now here we are with an infected nail, all because time wasn’t taken to properly asses my nails. Btw, this set lasted only a week before gel polish was lifting

My thumb was cut and it was extremely deep and painful. The bleeding would not stop. When I got home, I realized that the cut had actually gone all the way around my finger! It's been very painful for me to cook and I have to wear an ugly bandaid to cover it up now. :( Sadly, I will have to give this place a one star due to this. The guy did feel really bad though and I understand accidents happen. The cut was just super deep. yikes!

Absolutely the worst place I have ever gotten my nails done. Their products are cheap quality, they are rude when you ask for something extra/ different. My pedicure is atrocious and so are my nails I don’t even know how they made them look like this

Had a fantastic experience at Queen. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure with nail art that I showed from Pinterest. The two ladies that took care of me were efficient and nice. I was out in one hour and super pleased with the results. The space is super clean and lots of room. The only thing that is challenging is parking, but there is a small lot, street parking has lots of No parking signs. But, I Will definitely be back!

I had a bad experience here but was not going to leave a review until my mom showed me what her hands look like 5 days after our appointment. Upon walking in, this place smells very strongly of chemicals. You are getting a very straight forward mani- no lotion, no massage. Which is fine except that the place is not sanitary. My technician (and from what i could see the ones to my right and left) had a basket of brushes that were unclean and looked like they have been used on many people before me. They were not dipped in disinfectant, just rolling around in the basket. They had a dirty towel for me to put my hands on- when the person next to me left, I saw how the technician used the same towel on another person. I wanted to scream and run away but I am very shy and have trouble asserting myself in these situations. Also- my mom and I got the “cat eye” gel but her technician did not do it properly- clearly did not know how to do it and just gave her a bad regular gel (the front desk person tried to get us back to fix it but we just wanted to get out of there) It hasn’t even been a week and my gel is coming off already. My mom has a bad reaction on her cuticles that is burning and peeling her skin. I will never be back and I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy. To the spa: Please train your workers, and pay attention to cleaning and disinfecting your tools.

This place has been consistently good since I started coming here a few months ago. They work quickly. Whenever I get a mani + pedi they do both at the same time which I appreciate. They have a ton of colors to choose from and a variety of drinks to chose from as well. Strongly recommend.

First time at queens spa while my dip mani was fine the Gel pedicure lifted day one of beach vacation. 3 nails on one foot lifted less than 48 hours after pedicure and I have only had a 20minutes walk on the beach.
