I have been to see Magdalena 3 or 4 times and every time the service has been excellent ! She cut and styled my hair and did a great job . I also got highlights . I now love the color of my hair ! She’s great !

In this salon, my poor friend's hair was made into a mess. It's true that she tried to paint it herself and it turned out bad, so Magdalena is a professional stylist, but what they did was ruin her hair even more. I told my friend to ask for her money back because they charged her quite a bit. However, the stylist didn't want to give her her money back. This is what the professional stylist replied: "After everything I did to you, after all the mess you had, you still have the nerve to ask. It was impossible to do it better. You ruined it." Here's a photo so you can see the work they did. I do not recommend this place to you so you don't go through the same thing as my friend. En este salon a mi pobre amiga le hicieron un cochinero en su cabello, es verdad que ella trato de pintarselo y le quedo mal, por eso acudio a una estilista profesional con Magdalena pero lo que le hicieron en este salon fue arruinarle mas su cabello, le dije a mi amiga que les pidiera el dinero pues le cobraron bastante bien, sin embargo la estilista no quiso devolverle el dinero y esto fue lo que la estilista profesional Magdalena le contesto a mi amiga: "Después de todo lo que te hice por todo el cochinero que traias todavía tienes el descaro de preguntar, era imposible hacerlo mejor tu te lo arruinaste" Esta señora Magdalena fue muy ruda con su respuesta, para que vean como le quedo el cabello a mi amiga aqui les pongo la foto para que vean el trabajo que le hicieron, no les recomiendo este lugar con Magdalena para que no pasen por lo mismo que mi amiga.

I’ve been going to Magdalena(Radiance) hair salon for years. Magdalena is so amazing. She knows a lot about improving hair health and she knows exactly what colors will look best. I used to have a very damaged hair. We focused almost a year on my hair health and growth. She transformed my hair and turned it the best it’s ever looked. I’m so grateful for Magdalena and her talent and would highly recommend her.

Radiance Salon fka Magdalena's is wonderful. The space is inviting and beautiful and Magdalena is the best colorist and stylist in town. My blonde with low lights turns out perfect every time, and never brassy or yellow. The shopping center also has several dining options, a Food City and what I think is the best Ross in the Phoenix Metro!

My new hairstylist after 15 years of not finding the right person ... happy with her work .. it was cut exactly how I wanted and the blending was nice it wasn't choppy ... 10/10

Wow! I didn’t really know what I wanted when I came to Magdalena’s but was open to anything. She gave great suggestions and totally rehabilitated my hair. She was so kind and personable and her styling skills are off the charts!

I am only giving 1 star because the lady doing the haircut was unprofessional. She was upset when I told her I was not very convinced with the haircut and I did not see any change, then she said she will texturize and started doing it. The way she did it scared me because I felt like she was doing it just because I asked her to and I felt like if I allowed her any further she would cut my hair short and asked her to stop. Then she styled my hair and said that that is the best she could do. The end result was satisfactory. However I still paid and tipped her only to respect the profession , unfortunately the respect was not mutual. I wont recommend or visit this salon again.

I was so disappointed. I made an appointment at 10 am and she told me she taught it was at 10:30. I waited in the near starbucks for her and when it was 10:30 she told me she can’t see me anymore and told me “but if you can come at 4 that’s okay”. I couldn’t believe the whole thing. It didn’t make sense to me. I waited and she made an excuse she didn’t have time for me? But I have an appointment at 10:30? 🥲 I drove 30 minutes to go to her salon but I guess I wasted my time. 😭

Magdalena is truly a very pleasant person just in general. As a stylist she is phenomenal. I'm an individual that knows what I want, when I want as far as my hair is concerned, and so when I go to a hairstylist it's important that my opinions are respected because I'm very sure in what it is that I'm looking for as far as a hairstyle is concerned. From the very beginning Magdalena respected my wishes and she saw the vision through my eyes and put it into practice and the result was exactly what I wanted. I've always wanted highlights. I was deciding to go with lighter versus darker for the highlight tones but was not sure at that moment. Without being pushy Magdalena shared the different options that I had and she gave me her recommendation. I ended up selecting more of a lighter color as suggested by her and it was stunning ! Her personality is appealing, she's fun and warm yet professional. Her salon is inviting and offer a wide variety of services. You will not regret going to see Magdalena.

Magdalena's sister gave me a beautiful layered haircut and styled it. I came here after not liking my last haircut at a different salon. This salon gave me a wonderful haircut with shape and layers that I was wanting! Thank you:)

They did a great job with haircut and style. Magdalena did such a good job that I went in next day for highlights. Prices are reasonable compared to other salons. They take walk-in but best to set up appointment since they are fairly busy

Horrible service, I gave very precise instructions on what I wanted, I even had a picture as reference! I was told " She didn't know how I walked around with my hair". Then preceded to cut off 3 extra inches then I requested! When I was basically in tears do to her doing what she wanted to do. She preceded to tell me " I was being selfish and ruining her day"! I have never been treated so rudely. She has no clue how to cut hair! Now I have to begin the journey of growing out my hair again. After battling cancer.

I called her and asked her if she can do a wash and blow and she said yes. When I reached the store, she then said she can’t do my type of hair and it would take her forever. My hair is up to my neck and I’m a black woman. I wasted my time to go there only for them to refer me to LaToyes. Very disappointed.
