THE WORST SERVICE & POOR QUALITY! I was desperate to get a manicure so had no other choice! I should have known better then to go here! When I asked for a manicure another women sitting on a chair yelled at me asking if I wanted a hair cut, I said no so she fell asleep and started snoring! I don't believe this women was a trained manicurist! -she filed my skin until it was burning -instead of cutting my cuticles she cut the skin around my nail -I had picked a navy blue color by OPI that I have used before and the color was heavily diluted -it was diluted so much that she was splattering nail polish all over my hands and it left streaks on my nails -she had no idea how to paint nails, it was like a toddler painting outside of the lines -she did not clean off the edges, even when asked -I ran out of there! To top it off it cost $20!!!! I asked why it was more expensive then any other nail salon in midtown and her answer was all prices went up and proceeded to tell me that tips were in cash! She didn't even offer to fix it! '

Got my hair done here (blow dry) - it was excellently done by Liana and was charged very reasonably and honestly. Thank you Liana and hope to visit your saloon on my next visit to the city.

I was just in this salon. While all the women in the establishment are very friendly, my experience was terrible! My pedicure experience started out with one of the women taking a chunk out of my toe and my toe profusely bleeding. Now I understand mistakes happen and she was apologetic but this was beyond careless, and I have never been cut like this at a salon. I was proceeded to be told that it was my blood that lead to the excessive bleeding rather than the fact a chuck of my toe was removed. Because I was in a rush I decided to stay for the gel manicure which was sloppy at best. It’s amuses and uneven and when I complained nothing was done about it. The worst offense is that I had to tell them that I refused to pay for the pedicure and they charged me for the terrible manicure that I will need to have redone immediately somewhere else. What a disaster. I should have never been charged a dime. It’s nearly an hour later and my toe is still bleeding and I’m in pain. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

I went for a wash and trim toward the last hour before they closed and they rushed it relatively quickly. The lady told me she was tired and did not want to do the trim because they were closing soon. Eventually she did decide to do it because she had the time. But not a good trim at all, my bangs are completely uneven and I cannot put half of it in a ponytail. On top of all that they CHARGED ME $75 FOR THE WASH AND TRIM. I will never go there again. $75 is way too much, not worth it at all

Never going back to that place! The lady did a terrible job. Also very expensive for the crappy job they do. They wanted to charge me $40 for the gel manicure.

The staff at Rafeals was so kind and welcoming to my fiance and I. We were seen immediately and both recieved excellent pedicures, Judy did a wonderful job on my blow out, and Mabel(name check) did my full set of nails better than they do back in my home town we were so pleased.

Very bad place, we were 5 people in September 2018 for a wedding and everyone was desapointed. I had to pay $130 for a simple hair bun that took 5 minutes, that a small child could have done ... with 3 strass (cost 10 cents but sold 30 dollars) and I had so much hair fixer that I had grey hair. Everybody was joking about my hair when I saw my family ... I had to wash my hair when back home and almost have been late to the wedding because of them... They don’t even brush your hair before a brushing (where did they learn hairdressing honestly?) and no protection nothing after a shampoo that would cost also 10 cents regarding the quality of my hair after coming to this place. Just go away ... they especially not correct regarding the price they asked us to pay for that ****. Don’t go there.... please

Eddie is the best barber to ever cut my hair. ...Been my barber for about 4 years now. I've tried other barbers, because I couldn't make it to Eddie - no one beats Eddie's skills and finesse. He has passion paired with skill. Ask for Eddie... get your cut. End of story.

At Rafael Hair & Beauty, u get a family feeling, when u get through the door. Very nice and Friendly people. My nails were done by Mable (hope i got the pronouncing right) aren't't they gorgeous. ;)

I got haircut and blow dry from Judy, really good job :) When I came home my boyfriend said that's it's the best haircut I've ever had, even though it was a little shorter then I expected :D Very nice staff and good prices

I walked right in without an appointment and I got a great haircut including a hot towel and a massage. I walked out and was back at my desk before lunch was over. They were professional and friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I was prepared to spend more money, but the haircut only cost $22 (mens haircut).

I've been a loyal customer for many years. Great full service salon, probably the only one in that area of midtown. Great customer service, family feeling and positive attitude. You're always greeted with a smile. Liana is a great hair stylist, you can trust her with everything. Olga does beautiful nails . Super fast service, New York speed!

Well worth the money spent. Ricardo took good care of me; he was attentive in assessing my needs for my hair and worked quickly, and my hair came out looking great. He even gave me a hot towel for my face and neck, and a neck massage! The location is convenient to midtown and well worth the $25 price. Will definitely be back here!
