My Kirk children had a ball of gray hair in it. Call to tell them to remake it and they hung up on me with out me telling them what was wrong. Just dirty!!

This was my first time here. Jessie was so sweet and professional and really took her time with my hair. She also made sure not to catch my earrings/cartilage piercings in the comb (which always happens at other salons) and was really gentle throughout. The studio was also really nice inside. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been going to this place for over 10 years and have wtonderful stylists throughout the time. My longtime stylist Jesci is the best. She is thoughtful and incredibly talented. I have thick curly hair and she has seen it in every possible state. At one point, I went two years without a cut (pandemic amirite?) And she styled it gorgeously. Every staff member is great and I love my visits.

Best salon! I go to OH every so often, but when I do, going to Rafiel's Studio is a MUST. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their work is very professional, and they leave you feeling amazing. The owner is wonderful, he makes sure you are 100% satisfied, and will go out of his way to make you feel appreciated and well served.

I moved to Columbus twenty years ago and have been going to Rafiel's Studio since I arrived. Previously I had my hair cut and colored in Philadelphia, my home town and residence for many years as an adult. I even had my hair done in New York City several times. The quality, precision, and care at Rafiel's was far superior to the salons I frequented in Philadelphia. Additionally, the ease at which I could manage my hair and maintain the style after a trip to the salon beat all the others. Over the years, I have gotten to know Rafiel, Gregg, and the other staff well. The are like family to me, my husband and daughter. We are treated like royalty when we come to the salon and leave feeling happy. The best part is that I can depend on my hair always looking great!!

I went to this hair salon for six years while living in Columbus and it is the only hair salon I would visit. Rafiel and the team always made me feel like family. Every time I visit Columbus, I make sure to come here for a haircut and hello . Plus! I Love that they use Aveda products! ✨💙

I started going to Rafiels Studio in 2003 and no one knows how to color my hair better than Gregg! When it comes to what looks best on me, I can trust him & I have never been disappointed. Three of my daughters now go to see him & we all love him and the staff at Rafiels. Since COVID they have been very safe for customers & staff alike.

So I did wigs for kids and the experience was great , it's not the first time I went here for this service but this time around I paid 55$ for the cut which is fine. But on the donating site the price is told differently. The people that work there are very nice and professional but I did not like my haircut . Its very uneven and choppy .

This was my second time at Rafiel's. My beloved hair stylist of 3 years doesn't do hair anymore and I wanted to try out Rafiel's again as it's decently close to my home however the experience kind of went from not-so-great to worse. My stylist was incredibly kind and welcoming and the procedures taken to maintain safety during the health crisis were definitely appreciated. I have no issues with those aspects, it's more so about the results that were achieved and the poor customer service that was offered as 'compensation'. I wanted my roots lifted and toned to match my platinum mids and ends, leaving me with an all-over consistent bleach blonde look, but instead left with multi-tonal hair and inconsistency. My roots were very warm and the line of the regrowth was still visible while some parts around the face ended up pulling a cool almost blue tone that didn't match anything else either. Naturally I was apprehensive about going back after having poor results and spending a lot of money to get there, so I ended up booking with a stylist at another salon recommended to me by my former stylist. The second salon fixed everything and it's beautiful and even, however the color correction cost about $200, so it was a painful fix. When I called in to let Rafiel's know about my experience and ask about the possibility of at least a partial refund I was told that they normally do not do refunds and was told I'd be called back after the manager spoke with the owner. Upon calling me back I was notified that the best they could do is a $50 gift card to their salon for services and goods. That's barely a fraction of what I paid for a service I was not at all satisfied with. I even felt a bit scolded about going elsewhere to get my hair corrected. I never complain as a customer ever, so it's gotta be pretty bad for me to speak up, but I just felt the way they handled the refund situation was pretty unacceptable. It left a sour taste in my mouth and will definitely keep me away in the future.

What a great experience! The staff was super welcoming, and I felt very safe because they were following health guidelines. I have very long, thick, curly hair- and Rafiel gave me an excellent cut and warm conversation. I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Whenever I'm in town, I always make an appointment to see Michelle. When I walk thru the door I'm greeted by the receptionist or manager as I walk in and I feel so welcomed. Michelle is always on time and gives 100% effort on my cut. Thank you!
