Bad energy! Not welcoming at all! But I was Satisfied with my blow out the first time so I went back. I called before I went and confirmed that I could come I got there and they were leaving. I will not be back.

RUINED MY NATURAL CURLS MY HAIR IS STRINGY AND WONT GO BACK STRAIGHT NO MATTER HOW MUCH I WASH IT , ITS BEEN FOUR MONTHS NOW AND MY HAIR IS STILL STRAIGHT I HAD NICE THICK HAIR AND NOW IT IS DAMAGED I WANT TO SUE THEM I BEEN CRYING FOR MONTHS NOW ABOUT MY HAID

Flaco , Ramona sister who works in this Salon- Bleached my hair because I asked for color & she completely made all my hair fall out- She tried to hide the damage, talking me down telling me it wasn’t as bad as it was I was blinded by the color that came out orange/ Cognac after I asked for burgundy, I went home and seen the back and middle of my hair, and returned to the salon in tears, they tried everything as far as giving me hair oil & conditioner treatments but I still had to pay, the sister Ramona tried to correct her sister’s mistake - but I’m still devastated with hair lost damage, this damage I’m still trying to repair. DO NOT GET ANY COLOR FROM THEM- they handled me very unprofessional and I could’ve sued them but I didn’t. They should’ve had a conversation/ Consultation with me to ask when the last time I had color and asked questions before putting that Loud Color and bleach in my hair I’m not the expert- she’s the licensed stylist. But I warned you, You will regret it.. and they have a very long wait, it can be an all day job- My hair still in strands and different sizes & Lenths -Everywhere all over my head. I’m traumatized & now considering getting locks because I don’t trust anyone or anymore chemicals . Very depressed because of my hair loss/ devastating

I visited Ramona beauty salon today and i must say the stylist was very attentive ,knowledgeable and nice ,the salon was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this salon if your looking for a new look.

Im crying i was recommended by a friend i took my 7 year old for a silk press by Ramona and they either fried or used a chemical destroying my daughter natural 4c hair which is very devastating its falling out now so i’ll most likely have to do a big chop I DONT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO USE THEIR SERVICES

Was disappointed at how much the ladies kept talking so loud over my head in Spanish through out the time I was was there. If you think you will have a quite and peaceful atmosphere, sorry not here.

Love this shop for years, until my last visit. When they put some type of chemical in my deep conditioner that ruined my natural curl pattern. I was devastated due to growing my natural healthy hair out so long and full. After I washed my blow out, my curls were flat and stringy and some parts just no curl at all. I finally can see my new growth coming in and it’s giving me hope, that my curls are coming back it’s not actually the same pattern as before but at least I can wear it out again & I’m excited about that. I was only able to hide it behind extensions or ponytails. Now it’s time for me to cut the damage and start over which is extremely bittersweet. It would be nice if they would just ASK or ADVISE prior to doing what they want to do. Honestly if my hair is a little nappy for you, I’ll detangle it myself before you SNEAK in something dangerously damaging to MY hair. Yes, I was sensitive about my hair during that time, that this experience hurt me every time I looked at the damage. Bring back integrity and professionalism.

Ramona's beauty salon is a Dominican salon accessible from anywhere in Jacksonville. Rossy, the beautician doing my toddler hair, deserves all the stars. They took me in as a walk-in. The service was excellent from the phone call inquiring information to the in person service. Working with toddlers is challenging, but everyone there made my kiddo feel like the princess she thinks she is. As long as I am in Jax, I will continue visiting Ramona's Salon and will strongly recommend it.

I have always spread good words about my hair lady and out of respect won’t use her name but you have to respect people wishes l told the lady this time l have a 70$ limit just want the basics she preceded on we finish and it’s 85 which wouldn’t been a issue but l took out cash for the amount l didn’t want to go but had to drive to find a atm to take out more money then drive all the way back for another worker skiny with short hair does peoples short cuts to bad mouth me in Spanish guess thinking l am black and didn’t understand reality she didn’t even know the conversation that was previous had l paid in full still tipped just was my last trip there respect peoples mind and don’t give an opinion about something you don’t know about

Make this sound good I was recommended to come here today by my friend and me and my daughter got our hair did and Rosa and Sandra did an awesome job. Omg I absolutely love how our hair turned out. Every one was so friendly and wonderful customer service. They were fast and efficient. I am truly thankful and super excited I came here today.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! I went for a deep conditioning and roller set. I specifically stated multiple times not to use any keratin or relaxer in my hair. My curls were destroyed and subsequently I had my hair colored almost 3 months later. Same hair color I’ve always used and my hair basically melted at the line of demarcation. I am a licensed stylist at this point I’m absolutely positive my hair was chemically straighten. No I’m going to have completely chop off all my hair. I can’t reiterate enough how dangerous this salon is and how they truly ruin naturally curly hair. Why would a stylist do this? Do you know how long it takes to grow curly hair?? I’m reporting this salon to the BBB and the board of cosmetology. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE!!!!!!

I have been seeing Ramona for 20 years and I have no complaints. Everyone is friendly and professional, not to mention the fair pricing for the excellent quality Ramona and all of her team always deliver each time I go. What I love the most is that being there feels like home and it doesnt matter how long it takes, its always fun to be there and chat with the girls. 5 stars for friendlyness, professionalism, consistency, quality and pricing!

I love the blowout, however my baby hair was supposed to Ben”triimmed” but it was cut. 🥹….. Everyone has been asking why she cut her hair because it’s a BiG difference. So make sure when they ask to trim, please clarify LiGHT trimming.

Lysandra and her shampoo lady have ruined my natural hair. She put something on my her during shampoo/conditioner and now my hair texture is relaxed. Avoid this salon if you have natural black hair. Will report to BBB when back in Jacksonville.
