I recently got a total transformation haircut from Suni and I couldn't be happier with the results. She listened attentively to what I wanted, offered expert advice, kept me informed every step of the way and delivered a flawless cut. She also showed and gave me personalized styling tips. I've received lots of compliments on my new look 🥰 I highly recommend her 🫶🏼 Plus, the salon itself is SOOO adorable and super relaxing ✨🌱

Raven Row is hands down the best salon I have ever been too! I have found nothing like the experience here at anywhere else I’ve been. Every employee who works there are kind and supportive to all of their coworkers, you can tell that they love their jobs and their clients. Such a welcoming atmosphere, and the plants only add to it. The green thumb is incredible. Courtney is fabulous. She is seriously one of my favorite people to walk the earth and I genuinely look forward to when I need my next appointment. She is incredibly talented, a great listener, wants to make you feel confident and taken care of. She helped me become more in tune with my hair and pulled out wave in it that I suspected I had but didn’t know how to achieve. Got a pixie total transformation cut from Suni-- she is AWESOME. We talked for a long time before hand so we were on the same page and she talked me through the whole process, showing me how to style it at the end. First time there too-- it's a gorgeous space and very welcoming. Pricing is very reasonable too-- and in a great part of town. Picked up chinese food and ice cream around the corner to celebrate.

absolutely incredible place. of course the vibe is so chic and relaxing in there. but the people are truly amazing. I wasn’t sure what or who to book, so I chatted with the receptionist who gave me some recommendations and options according to my specific needs. I did a new customer cut with Suni, who is so delightful ❤️ my hair grew back curly after chemo and I had no idea what to do with it. Suni walked me through every step and explained what they were doing and why they were doing it, and made sure I understood and agreed. they gave me styling tips that i depsperately needed, while also making sure my cut would be easy to style. I walked out with the cutest, chic-est cut that has (not to get sappy but) given me confidence that I haven’t felt in a while. Seriously I cannot recommend this place or Suni enough!!!!!!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Sarah for about 5 years now and she is absolutely amazing!! Not only is she a fantastic stylist and gives me a fabulous haircut every time I see her, she is also just a lovely all around human being. When I am in a chatty mood, she will reciprocate, but when I’m exhausted, she knows how to do comfortable silence just as well. The overall salon experience has also been great. I love that they pride themselves on education and have experts come in to teach classes to the entire staff on a regular basis. I also love all the beautiful plants in the salon! Would recommend anyone to go here!!

I got my first curly dry cut here at Raven Roe and was so so pleased! Courtney did an outstanding job and she took her time to explain every step of the washing and styling process so I could really get the most out of my curls! I love that the salon uses clean ingredient products, and the salon itself is so so cute. I officially found my new salon.

Suni is the best! They are so warm, communicative and talented, I’ve never had a consultation so thorough and the final result exceeded all my expectations! My hair was a challenge that required major color correction and Suni absolutely killed it with ease, dedicating their whole day to accomplish all my hair goals without cutting any corners. I had such a relaxing experience and I left the salon feeling so happy and confident. Highly recommend booking with Suni :)

Dang this review is a bit overdue but nevertheless I hope it will help you make the best decision and go book that appointment with Raven Row Salon 🤍 I just moved to ATX and as it is with finding a new hair stylist you read through all the reviews and hope for the best. Right? Right! Well I had the best first appointment, here is how it went: - I filled out the form on the website. At first I was a bit bummed that I could only book the cut BUT in the aftermath - super clever! You get to know your hair stylist and you both decide on what would be a good option to pursue the next time. 👌 SMART! - when I arrived Kayleen was avail right away and I was greeted with the most warm welcome! She really knows what she does, has an eye for detail and is very skilled! Very easy to be around and great in listening & also sharing her advice. I felt really well taken care of! The recommendation for after care is spot on and works great for me! - everyone’s in general super nice, very caring vibe through the whole salon and I did only see smiling faces and everyone speaks highly of their colleagues! - the products they use smell SO GOOD 🤤 and I got those super cute clips for my new fringe which I am loving 🤩 - I left the salon with a big smile, a fresh new haircut that was way better than expected 🫨 and immediately booked another appointment in August for the color transformation ☺️😎 yeyiii! Courtney is incredible! I went in for my second cut with her today and had an amazing experience. She was attentive and communicative with me throughout the whole process. It's clear she cares about her clients and wants to give them the best experience possible. Today I went in for an express cut to touch up my front facing pieces and bangs that we cut back in April. I was amazed at how much of a difference a 15 minute appointment could make in the overall look and feel of my hair. She added dimension, shortened some of my front facing pieces, and styled my bangs as if I had gotten a full transformation cut.

Ciera did an amazing job with my hair! I got the Curl Revitalization package and couldn’t be happier! The shape is shaping and the bounce, shine, and definition are SECOND TO NONE! I go to Vanessa for a Curly Cut every 6months to a year, and getting my hair done by her is an absolute dream. I have also gotten a scalp treatment done by Michelle, and my husband has gotten his hair cut by Courtney. I feel nothing less than pampered every time I come to this salon, and it’s so serene and relaxing. I could confidently recommend everybody 🫶🏻

Phenomenal experience, Cici is amazing! She is very kind and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and made sure I was comfortable with every step of the hair cut. This salon is very clean and the vibe is ZERO drama. I can tell that the owner is very kind and caring towards their employees and workspace. This salon is tastfully inclusive. No agendas, just love all of who enter. I would highly recommend that you book. I love the products, I didn't buy anything this time but I will definitely switch to innersense once I run out of ouidad. I am absolutely amazed! Heidi is incredibly gifted. I have fine, straight hair and she managed to add in volume, life, and texture that has supported by "hair confidence" immensely. I've never loved my hair more. I didn't even know it was possible for my hair to feel so full of life! Heidi knows what she is doing and you will have a blast talking to her during your visit... I literally couldn't recommend her artistic work enough.

I would not go anywhere else! Vanessa has been cutting my curly hair since she was in SF. And when she moved to Austin, I had to take the trip from SF to TX just for Vanessa! She is the curly hair queen! She knows exactly what she's doing and works her magic! Her attention to detail is impeccable; she knows how to cut your hair according to your face shape, and the framing to make your face pop is perfection. Vanessa listens to your hair inspo and always hits it spot on. She also gives her opinion on how to make it better or what would work best with your curls. She makes you feel comfortable and enjoys catching up and sharing laughs in the chair. I would not trust anyone else with my curly hair; Vanessa is the best in her craft, and her time and care for your hair are unmatched! I love her, and if I could give more than five stars, I would give her all the stars! ❤️

While I have had good haircut experiences with Vanessa over a 2 year period, I will not be returning to Raven Row salon, and here is why. I accidentally had the wrong time in my mind for an appointment. I received a call from the salon asking for my ETA. I let them know I had the wrong time and I took full responsibility. I asked if I could come in immediately. I live less than a mile away and I could be there in under 5 minutes (The appointment was at 10 am and it was10:20). The answer was no. The policy is to charge the full amount, $165, for a no show. So, my error resulted in a $165 charge and Raven Row lost my business. Lose, lose all around.

Dani did such a great job with my hair! The price is well worth the experience she brought out curls in my hair I never knew I had nor seen before on myself. Dani was so helpful in letting me explain what I was looking for as well as explaining everything she was doing to my hair so that I understand how to recreate the same curls at home. She also answered any questions and gave me a much greater understand of to care for my hair. I would definitely recommend her to anyone but especially if you are like me and feel confused or lost about how to care for your curly hair.

It has been over a month since I got my curly cut with Vanessa, and I’m so happy with my haircut! Before coming to Raven Row, most of my experiences at hair salons had been quite upsetting. Nobody seemed to know how to cut my hair. Stylists would give me a regular hair cut – washing my hair, combing and cutting it wet, and blow-drying it or leaving it half-dry, completely frizzy from being brushed and touched incessantly. I came out of those salons looking and feeling like a monster. I stopped going to salons altogether, and have asked my grandma to cut my hair for years. A couple of months ago, I met a friend with the most beautiful curly hair, and immediately asked her where she got her haircut. When she recommended Vanessa, a curly hair specialist, I knew my life was about to turn a page. Vanessa is clearly immensely knowledgeable, with years of experience working with different curl types. She immediately diagnosed my hair (it loves to shrink and frizz) and was able to cut and style it beautifully. She answered all my questions and gave me tips for handling and styling my hair on my own. This was the first time I’ve walked out of a hair salon feeling like a princess. Highly recommend Raven Row and specifically Vanessa for your next curly cut!

I got my hair cut by Vanessa last week and it was amazing!! I have curly hair and hadn’t had my hair cut in almost 10 years because I was too nervous due to getting bad haircuts in the past. Vanessa really knows what she’s doing. I had tons of questions and she answered all of them. She talked me through step by step of how to style my new cut. It was a big change for me, and I was really nervous but I’m so glad I did it! I was really nervous but Vanessa’s expertise and kindness helped calm my nerves. Thanks Vanessa!!

I've been coming to Raven Row since they opened in 2016, as a long time devotee of owner and stylist Raven Camacho. She knows her hair and has been one of two stylists in Austin that know how to handle, lighten, and style my thick dark South Asian hair! Over the years, the salon's friendly and welcoming atmosphere has consistently made me feel comfortable. I am always satisfied with my experience and highly recommend Raven Row to anyone looking for fabulous hair and fantastic service.
