Ray is amazing - he is so knowledgeable about hair, and cares so much about giving me a style that I not only love but can do myself! Every appointment he has taught me something new about how I can style my hair, which I really need! He is also very professional in running his business, which I appreciate. Ray Rose has my highest recommendation!!

I have been getting my hair cut by Ray for many years. Even when I lived 8 hours away - I kept going to Ray. There is no line of people waiting, no rush feeling, or no talking on phone while cutting your hair. When you walk in, Ray’s focus is on you and your experience. You certainly felt heard and leave with what you requested - more than likely better than what you had in mind. Ray will go over the pros and cons of what you have in mind. It is really a decadent shampoo (love 🥰). The haircut continues to look great as it grows out. Ray continues to seek out training even though he has a vast amount of experience. I will continue my drive to Ray - now at 4 hours. Well worth it! I love ❤️ my time with Ray.

I've been seeing Ray for a while now, and I can't find anyone else who does a better job. He always knows what I want (even if I can't fully explain it very well myself), the results are beautiful and he makes me feel pampered. His products are amazing as he makes sure they work and help maintain your color and texture. Ray is a master of his art and I will continue driving an hour if I have to! Love you Ray! 😍😘❤

If you want your hair to look fantastic, go to Ray Rose Styles. He is awesome. I have so many compliments about my hair. He pampers you from the time you get there til the time you leave. And he gives wonderful neck massage. I like be the way he matched my hair color to my skin tone.

Ray is the best. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and he cut and colored my hair perfectly. He really spends he's time with you and he gives you a wonderful scalp massage and hand massage. Thanks Ray for recommending the great hair products for my curls. Ray Rose has been cutting and styling my hair for a year and I’ve never loved my cuts more. I really appreciated that he started our working relationship with a hair assessment where he took the time to understand my personal style, my hair, and my goals before ever laying a finger on my head. It made me feel like I would be getting a truly personalized service - and I always do! I really look forward to my appointments because they are like mini spa days. Ray does little things to make the experience more relaxing like dimming the lights and providing a massage when he does the shampoo and conditioner. He also frequently offers little gifts or styling tips at no additional charge - he just loves his customers! The last thing I’ll say is that I think his prices are very fair. At every appointment I receive a little massage, an excellent cut, great conversation, a restful time away from my busy life, and an amazing blowout that lasts for several days. His prices are on par with all the best professionals but definitely reasonable for all the value he adds. I love Ray Rose and would recommend him to absolutely anyone!

I have been seeing Ray off and on for almost 20 years - I can’t say it enough just how great he is professionally and personally. My favorite part is the head massages he gives ! To say Ray is a miracle worker would be an understatement. He’s taken me from sad bun to vibrant long locks in about a year and a half. I genuinely look forward to our time together. After hearing about Ray Rose and his expertise with the challenges of women’s hair as we age I decided to drive from Houston and give him a try. It was well worth the drive. The consultation and pampering were the best I have ever received. From our FaceTime consult before my appointment, my favorite music playing in the salon when I arrived, the low lights for my shampoo/massage and treats to eat and drink I felt like I was in a spa. The cut and color was exactly what I wanted and needed for my damaged hair. The color was perfect and the cut has movement and feels and looks healthy while still keeping the length I like. Glad I found you Ray!

I love going to Ray! He takes the time to get clear on exactly what I want and offers advice without being pushy. Super friendly, professional, skilled — and there are little extras he does that raise the bar like a neck and temple massage during the shampoo along with an under eye masks. If I was able to give more than 5 stars I would!! Ray is definitely the best hairdresser I have ever been at! I just recently moved to Austin and not knowing anybody I just did a research and found Ray. I am so happy I went ahead and made the appointment immediately. He really takes time to make everything perfect, from the very the first consulation to the last step of your hair procedure. He is so proffesional, so nice, he uses high quality products and after him taking care of my hair it has never looked more amazing. The best stylist/ colorist in town! I've been going to Ray for about 20 years and have followed him as he's moved salons because I constantly get compliments on my hair. Now at his own place, the service is even better - easy direct communication with Ray for scheduling, always on time, and we always have a blast during our appointments. I love that I can just tell him what I want my hair to feel/look like, or how I want to be able to style it and he always comes up with the perfect cut! I could not recommend Ray more, and will never go to another stylist!!

The best hair appt ever and the greatest salon experience! From initial video call, chair consultation, shampoo (OMG! The best!) and style, Ray Rose is second to none! He even showed me how to style my hair…like really showed me! If I’d had a piece of bubble gum, I would have been blowing bubbles in the parking lot! 🥰 If you haven’t had a complement on your hair in weeks, you need to make the call! You will not be disappointed!

I even came back the next day, asking if he could trim and shape a little more and he did! He was patient, very pleasant and always professional. Ray has cut and high-lighted my hair for more than 15 years. He is the best hair stylist I have ever been to. I travel more than an hour and a half to his shop, and it is definitely worth it. He also works really hard to please his clients. He listens to what the client wants and talks with him/her to ensure understanding. I trust no one with my hair except Ray. I had a shampoo and blow-dry with a deep cleansing treatment and a hair mask. During my shampoo Ray gave an amazing scalp massage. His space is very calm and clean, we had great conversation while my hair was under the heater processing. My hair was soft and luxurious for days afterward!
