Dmitriy is a perfectionist about my color. Coppers and red haircolors are hard to do, and most hair stylists end up turning my hair brown the first try because my hair is fine and I also have extensions. He listened, and perfectly executed my color, balayage, cut, and style after a free consult for colors the day before. He’s an artist for sure, and reasonably priced. Very pleased.

I had the most wonderful experience with Rachel:) She gave me incredibly natural and seamless highlights and beautifully done layers. I would say it’s the best haircut and color I’ve ever gotten. She cares deeply about the health of her clients hair which I truly appreciate as someone who likes to be blonde. Dmitriy does hair for models in New York, Los Angeles Fashion Weeks, he was trained in London and here in US.

If I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment a week ago for today. We are required to give a 24 hours notice if we have to cancel. Rachel called me this morning at almost 11 AM, and my appointment was at 3:45. She said that she wasn’t feeling well and didn’t think that she can do my hair. I told her that I didn’t have much time because my occasion that I was celebrating is on Saturday. And I have been waiting for this appointment for a full week. She decided that she was still going to do my hair. And I told her I feel terrible and I will even bring you some emergen-C. I text her. I’m 10 minutes away from the salon. She calls me and tells me that she’s not gonna be able to do my hair because shes still not feeling well. Decides to tell me that she wasn’t feeling well last night either, and then I said well if you weren’t feeling well last night, you should’ve called me then. I was like it’s kind of crazy how you guys require a 24 hour cancellation notice but you can call me 4 hours before my appointment and then 10 minutes before my appointment and completely cancel on me when i’m almost to the salon. I even got off of work early so I can make the appointment on time. Completely ruined everything. And she was very unprofessional and said she didn’t feel comfortable even working on me anymore because I was upset at the fact that she didn’t give me a 24 hour notice like they require. Definitely don’t recommend this place. Or at least not Rachel. I also wasted my money on some Emergen-C. All of this could’ve been avoided if she would’ve just told me last night that she was not feeling well. I could’ve looked around last night to find a new place to get my hair done so it would be ready for Saturday. Don’t require your customers to give a 24 hours notice if you’re not gonna give them the same courtesy!!

Dmitriy Mesin was fantastic. 1. Great at what he does ( Hair cutting hair & styling, consultation. 2. Dmitri listens so well. When a client is not sure he has the skill to help them pinpoint what they want. 3. Great for men AND women. 4. Very private space, comfortable. 5. All around great guy and nice person plus the talent to boot. I wish we had discovered him sooner. Dmitriy is highly recommended by my husband and me.

At Red Chair Salon, Dmitry has installed sew in wefts to flip both directions! I love them so much he always does such an amazing job and the air always stays for months. Highly recommend seeing Dmitry , he always cuts and colors my hair in the past aswell and is always on point !

My boys have been going to Dmitriy for about a year now and we are so glad we found him! He is a true artist and does an amazing job, always smiling and professional and has great stories from his travels! Dmitry is my favorite hair stylist. For the regular cost of a woman's haircut, you really get a great experience. Dmitry listens to what I have to say and offers helpful suggestions based on what I need. The shampoo is luxurious and relaxing. He provides a quality cut and finishes off with a blow dry and little curl for me. Sitting is Dmitry's chair is a joy and I will honestly be coming back again and again as long as he is cutting hair. First things first, WOW! As a new client, I was hesitant but after researching and reading reviews, I decided to give Dmitriy a try. I’m blown away! He knew exactly what I wanted and transformed my hair into a stunning relaxed mid-length 90s inspired slick back. He truly is an artist when it comes to men’s haircuts! From start to finish, I felt taken care of and confident in his skills. Now, I can confidently say that I’ll be coming back anytime I need a haircut. Rachel did my hair and she exceeded my expectations!! She was super sweet and also gave good advice on what to do with it. If you haven’t gone to her, I highly recommend! I moved here from out of state so going to a new hair dresser is always scary, but she nailed it. Definitely my new hair stylist for now on.
