Got a fantastic haircut from Marlo a couple of weeks ago. She was a blast to hang out with and really understood what I wanted out of a haircut. My hair feels light and manageable and I don’t have to do anything to it in order for it to feel "done": goal achieved! Aside from the great haircut, I also had such a nice time chatting and learning about how to properly care for my hair. You can tell Marlo has put an immense amount of care into her studio, it's a really nice space. For the first time maybe ever I left loving my hair and am actually looking forward to my next hair appointment! Thank you so much for an incredible experience . I am officially a client for life.

A colleague referred me here after I admired her stylish bi-level haircut. Got an excellent cut from the owner, Marlo. She listened to what I wanted during the consultation and demonstrated how to style it myself. She was an instructor before and taught me excellent easy-to-follow techniques. Space is in a warehouse near the Navy Yard. You make an appointment directly with Marlo. Going back for next cut.

I will be coming into Brooklyn, and I will need a miracle with my hair. I researched and found Red Roses Beauty Parlour to be the best in Brooklyn. The owner follows all CDC guidelines. I also found an article, written about Marlo the owner in Brooklyn Magazine. They also gave her an outstanding recommendation. I am very excited!

I’ve been going to the owner, Marlo, for years. I have a particular curl pattern, and have never trusted anyone else as much using heat and color on my hair leaving it refreshed and healthier than before once washed at home. If you’re anything like me, trims and cuts naturally spark anxiety towards salon visits. However, her unique minimal, sanctuary styled salon gives me the spa like satisfaction I’m looking for when self pampering is a must. Never seen such a clean salon, beats the city’s “walk-in’s welcome” clique boutiques that only fail you with trails of hair from customers before - gross! All around 100 for me. Hairstylist made Life-stylist!

I’ve had one length hair for as long as I can remember and wanted to take the fringe plunge. I knew right away Marlo was THE person to go to, because not only will she give me what I’m looking for, she will send me home with the confidence and knowledge of knowing how to style my hair from that point on! I’ve learned so many new techniques from her and that is so invaluable. I’ve never had a hairdresser offer me the insight that she offers me! I’ve now gone in for my Second trim. I won’t let anyone else near these babies! The salon is also beautifully kept - very spacious, clean, and Marlo keeps flowers on deck at all times. A really nice touch

Marlo has been doing our hair for years - by ours I mean my spouse's and my kids...We lover her. We always seem to go in for a group appt. with her. She always does an incredible job, 100%, she is so fun to be around and her new salon is fabulous. The best cuts and styling here! She also makes you feel at ease - always happy to have us there and during these Covid days - super safe haircuts. And when she is done with you you feel revitalized and so good. Its Magic! She's the real deal!

Not only did Marlo do an AMAZING job on cutting my curls after 10 years of being too scared to let anyone mess my hair up again, but she taught me techniques and (daily) realistic ways to style/take care of my hair that I didn’t even know about. I cannot wait to go back, I will forever let her take care of any hair needs that I have and will recommend her to anyone/any hair type Thank you again!

Marlo has been doing my hair for years now. Before meeting her, I couldn’t get my hair to grow. It was brittle and short. I could never seem to get it to do anything. Marlo never made me feel bad for the ways I had damaged it, and not only cut and treated it, she taught me how to maintain it. It’s been years now and my hair is long and healthy. Her studio is also such a great atmosphere to be in. She treats you like family and always gives 100%. It’s such a personal, calming, and intimate experience. I always leave feeling fresh and renewed.

Marlo is amazing, has been cutting my hair forever and now with two little ones, she does house calls! It’s such a game changer to have the kids running around while I’m getting pampered in my own home. Marlo is the absolute best - always does a great job on my hair and style. This girl will 👏 not 👏 quit 👏 until your hair is EXACTLY the color you want it to be. Marlo is just as invested my hair’s health and tone as I am. I have naturally dark brown hair AND IT’S LITERALLY LIGHT GRAY NOW 🤤 She also teaches me tips and tricks so that I can keep it looking fire between appointments.

marlo has been doing my hair for 10+ years, from when i kept a pixie cut to the long process of growing it out. she has always managed to make my hair look so good and cut it in a way that i can manage and style it at home. her color work is great and my highlights always look natural and i get compliments all the time. her studio is subtle and intimate as well as clean and beautiful.
