I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Alex, and I couldn't be happier with the results! He expertly lightened, toned, and styled my hair, transforming my look beautifully. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident. His professionalism and skill are top-notch, and he has a wonderful ability to make you feel sexy and fabulous. Ok so let me start by saying how PICKY I am about who does my hair. If you are picky about your hair stylist, look no further then Refinery Room KC because it has exceeded my expectations. I decided to go with Talia, a fabulous hair stylist, because she specializes in transformation and oh how that rings true! I told her exactly what I wanted and she did just that. Not only is she a great hair stylist and incredibly informative about hair, but she is also great at giving a head massage when washing hair and is truly so kind and fun to talk to! If you love chatting, she’s your girl because she loves getting to know her clients which is a great quality to have in a hair stylist. I love the Refinery Room and I 100% recommend this salon to ANYONE who needs a great cut, style, wash, etc. Thank you so much Talia and Refinery Room for an amazing first visit. I couldn’t recommend Refinery Room (or more specifically Kaitlin) enough! Kaitlin is an expert of short hair and is always willing to try out new styles. I’ve never met anyone more attentive and dedicated to getting the style exactly how I want it. Truly the best haircut of my life. I HIGHLY recommend.

Have you had a few days, weeks, months where you just kind of hate your hair and appearance? If so make your way to Refinery room and ask for Kaitlin. She is a hair witch and I mean that in the best possible way! I had such an amazing experience. Kaitlin understood the exact vision I was wanting for my hair and I love it! I definitely will be coming back. Such a cute salon with an amazing vibe and phenomenal stylist.

I am a longtime fan of the Refinery Room. I’ve been seeing Regan for a couple of years now and for a curly girl that is BIG. It’s not often you find someone who really knows how to manage curls but Regan does. The products are fabulous, the atmosphere is enjoyable and as long as the Refinery Room is open I’ll be returning.

I finally found a stylist I love as well as salon I adore! Regan always gives me the perfect cut as well as highlights to keep me seasonally fresh. The ambiance is amazing and the scalp and neck massage during shampoo is a treat in itself!

Very good service but price is dependent on the stylist performing the service. There are levels for services and the more experience raises the level/price. Call and schedule an appointment and confirm the price so there's no surprises. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. Reagan is one of the best for coloring, styling and extensions.

Regan is AMAZING. You can tell she cares about your hair goals and making them come to life. She is attentive, easy to talk to and explains what she is doing and why. She has given me the best haircuts of my life that are not only easy to style but also look good air dried, which was important to me as I don’t always style my hair!

After a bleaching catastrophe that resulted in extreme hair breakage, I went to Holly (salon owner) to help me reverse the situation. She did so with understanding, empathy and all the tools at her disposal. On top of that she gave me access to her 24/7 for my multiple breakdowns. She turned my hair around from the first visit. To assist with the grow out phase, Regan stepped in. Wow - a true expert in her field of hair extensions. My hair is in better shape then before my initial bleach disaster. If you are looking for a team of experts who are passionate about what they do and genuinely care about their clients this is your salon!!! Out of 5 stars...I give 10.

I am beyond elated. I have finally found my KC hair stylist. I moved to KC 1.5 years ago and had yet to find a stylist that created a cut/style/color that made me 100% happy. A confidence booster. Her name is Alivia. I showed her photos of hair styles, we talked quite a bit, she listened, provided suggestions and explained in detail what she planned to do and why. She is attentive, thorough and an absolute delight. The cherry on the top is that I can walk to the salon. Thank you Alivia.

Justine always does a phenomenal job, I’ve never been happier with my hair in my entire life. She gives the absolute best head massages, also. Seriously amazing, and the salon uses some awesome products as well. Every time i leave i have so much more confidence and can’t stop looking at myself. Im so thankful for her services and also she’s a great person all around. Everyone is so friendly and i love that i can have an adult beverage while i get my hair done. 1000000/10, would recommend! Also is a cute little area with shops and places to eat.
