I've been here 4 times in total. Used to go to a different spot on 86th St but I've liked it here better! Good massage and clean space. Reasonably priced as well. Never had to wait, always can take me when I walk-in! Planning to return 1x a month.

I love my experience with massage master BoBo. Started visiting this spa last month, it is located quite close to my house so it is very convenient. The space is calm, rooms keep your privacy (comparing with Shakira spa, where you feel like at the Christmas market 🙈). I'm a swimmer, my back muscles are bold and I regularly feel tension. BoBo uses enough pressure and it's not painful, so I highly recommend this exact master to athletes. The price is affordable, I didn't catch their promo period, but 40$ per hour is still average price tag. Keep in mind, you have to add 15$ tips, so completely it is 55, but the quality of massage is excellent. Highly recommend

Place is very clean. massage was good. only complaint I have is that when I was paying the cashier didn't give me my change back and said this is tip ! if I want to tip I will. They are getting paid and asking for tip is very unprofessional. leave it up to the customer if they want to tip and how much. Not force them.

Here’s a more human-like and concise version: They have a sign at the front desk stating a $15 minimum tip. When I asked if it was mandatory, the front desk staff said it wasn’t. After a one-hour session costing $25, I left a $5 tip, but the staff insisted I needed to add $10 more to meet the “minimum tip” requirement. I reminded them that I was told tipping wasn’t compulsory, but they argued and made me feel like I was in the wrong. I ended up paying, but I’ll never go back. The massage itself wasn’t great, and the whole experience felt like a scam. There are much better and more honest places out there.

Decided to try out this new spot and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They have a special for $28 for 1 hour full body massage so I couldnt resist. I have no problem with the $15 tip policy, well worth it, if at the regular price of $40. Hard to find that these days. Rooms are curtained off, but its still very private. You do hear some talking in the halls but it didnt bother me. Massage was very good! Ill be coming back!

I recently visited this newly opened massage parlor with my boyfriend, and while the massage itself was decent, several aspects of the experience left us disappointed. First, I received the hot rocks treatment as part of my massage, but my boyfriend didn’t, even though we paid for the same service. After the session, the young man at the front desk told me I *needed* to leave a $15 tip on a $32 service. When I questioned this, we went back and forth for a while before he finally admitted it wasn’t mandatory, but said if I didn’t leave it, they’d have to cover the tip from their own pockets. It felt like a guilt trip tactic, and it made me extremely uncomfortable. Even after tipping the masseuse, she pointed to a sign in Chinese stating a minimum $15 tip for a one-hour service, which just added to the pressure. While the massage was good, I left feeling more stressed than relaxed due to how pushy they were with the tipping. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning because of this.

I treated my mom to a 1 hour massage here and she loved it! Finally decided to try it for myself and my bf. I felt very refreshed afterwards and felt like it was just the right amount of pain in certain places. My masseuse didn’t necessarily go hard but the movements felt very thoughtful and slow. I loved the hot stones - it was my favorite part, albeit short. My boyfriend felt great afterwards too but felt that his male masseuse went very hard and it was a bit more painful for him. He also thought that the hot stones were a bit too hot but the masseuse asked him beforehand before moving the stones quickly on him so it didn’t feel like it was burning.

I’ve visited Refresh Spa three times, and overall, it’s been a good experience. The facility is very clean, and the massages are excellent. However, I’ve run into the same issue repeatedly with their booking, which has been frustrating. Each time I’ve booked a 90-minute massage, there’s been confusion. On my first visit, I only received 60 minutes, which I initially thought might have been a language barrier. My second visit went smoothly, and I finally got the full 90 minutes, so I assumed the issue was resolved. But when I booked a 90-minute couples massage for my third visit, the experience fell short again. Even though I confirmed the 90-minute session with the receptionist (who spoke English), they put my fiancé and me in separate rooms, only gave us 60 minutes, and didn’t seem concerned when my fiancé brought it up. The spa was completely empty that day, so I can’t understand why they couldn’t fulfill what we booked. To add to the frustration, they still required a 35% tip at the end, despite not delivering the service we paid for. While I really enjoy the quality of their massages, the inconsistency with bookings and lack of accountability has left me unsure if I’ll return. If they can fix this issue, it would be a five-star place, but right now, it’s hard to overlook.

New and clean facility. Mandarin speaking with an english speaking receptionist. Was able to accomodate my party of 2 as a walk-in and several other walk-ins on a Thursday afternoon. Having a grand opening special pricing of $25 for a 60 min foot rub until end of the month so of course we checked it out. Upon leaving was told they wan't a minimum $15 tip. ( not 15%) We always tip 20% on full price but that wouldve only been $8. Full price was $40 so they were asking for a 35% tip. The receptionist gave an awkward, "Yea sorry thats the policy. " Glad we checked it out, massage was alright, but that left a bad taste.

Relaxing and professional service, felt rejuvenated after a 60 min body massage and a 30 min foot massage. Staff were very nice to explain different options they were offering, and rooms were clean too. However, it is close to the subway station, so you may hear occasional noise from the train running.

Хороший сервис, все чисто аккуратно, сервис хороший. Массаж делают как в дорогих спа, 1 час стоит всего 28$, но типы минимум 15$, если карта. Но если вам нужен именно как у физиотерапевта то Вам не сюда. Массаж на уровне дорогих спа, точнее походит на релакс массаж
