I wish I could give negative stars! Terrible experience. This lady does not know how to do protective styles over locs. She played in my head for over 6 hours and refused to correct the deficiencies or offer a refund. She used two different types of hair and damaged my actual hair. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

This was a disappointing experience. I'm new to Arizona, and while in search of a hairstylist, I came across Remilaku on social media. I asked her about prices and styles and set an appointment. After arriving at her salon, I felt claustrophobic. The space is very cluttered and more so staged as a living space, with couches and chairs; rather than a salon. There are handwritten signs on almost every surface advertising her side businesses, demanding payment and refusal of services. After washing my hair, Remilaku told me I could go ahead and pay. That should have been a red flag as I have never paid for a service before it was complete. Nevertheless, I paid. I knew the process would be long since this was a go-to style for me. After finishing, I looked it over and left. It wasn't until I looked closer that I noticed she did not style my hair as I requested. I sent her a message with my concerns and I felt brushed off. I'm more upset that she put the " blame" on me for not clarifying, instead of informing me she didn't know the technique for Senegalese or rope twists.

I went in for a Yoni Steam. I was running a couple minutes past the time that I had scheduled for I'm in which she had told me right when I was getting ready to come in that it would be a $25 extra charge a late fee so because I knew that I was running behind I kind of just chalked it up to the game and just paid the $25 late fee with the intent that if I use their service again that I would make sure that I was running on time the Yoni steam service was superb by the time my Yoni steam service was done I decided that you know she has hair inside the store so I'll just go ahead and pick up my hair here and just give her more service. So I realized now that I'm getting ready to use the hair that I had actually picked up the wrong hair that I intended to use for the hairstyle and so I messaged her to see if I can come in and exchanged not get my money back not ask for a refund but simply to just exchange the hair for the hair that I actually did need the hair that I have it was never opened the packages are still intact I never use the hair to which she says all sales are final. So I say all of this to say you will definitely be better off using waba's or BBB fashion or any other hair store just in case you end up making a mistake like I did and picking up the wrong hair and just simply needing to exchange it those will be your better options I definitely would not go back and grab any hair from her unless you knew for a fact that was the hair that you needed.

Payed $35 for Appointment and when I came there place was closed and I waited a while for the place No body came they kept my $35 deposit She later texted me and said she in bus I called back she gave an excuse and to this day she has never responded and has kept my $35. She never answers my phone calls, Do not use them,

The shop was uncomfortable because it looks like a hoarders house, and my daughter said her communication was rude. I think she’s only used to dealing with 4c hair, but my daughter doesn’t have 4c texture, so her handling was rough and left scabs in het scalp. She only needed a retwist of her locks. Not going to use her again.

any bad reviews this salon have got are trash and false. juat got dutch braids from her. didn't take long at all amd she killed it! her rules are her rules. and they are very straight forward. ima definitely be going back when it's time to get my hair done again

This was the Best service hands down,! that I have received. I have had my dreads for many years now. People get discouraged and intimidated when they see my hair. The owner of this salon was not only exceptionally great with her hands, she had phenomenal patience. She not only did a re-twist, she even styled my hair and gave me a gift after. I recommend anyone with natural hair to go visit this salon. She has special products to increase thickness, grow hair and she also has the experience to help any situation your hair may be in. Hands down BEST EXPERIENCE in Tucson so far!! No cap

I wanted starter locs but was turned down by multiple salons due to the shorter length of my hair. I'm so happy I found Remilaku! I sent her a picture of my hair and she was able to get me in the same day to start my locs. The foot, back and neck massage was a great bonus during and after service! She also gave me lots of advice for my hair and very friendly. Will be back again!

She does not know how to braid consistently your hair should not be plated down w hold spray to not make you hair frizzy my hair goes past my neck. She was extremely rude , disrespected me and my girlfriend threated to call cops if we return . Let alone the 3 roaches that were living in her hair dryers that kept crawling around inside the part that goes over my head. Let alone the "shoP" looks like she lives there. she wont give you money back or redo what she messed up . REPEAT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU WILL THANK ME

She is the best, reasonable prices, fast at her craft and about her business. Her home products are all natural made from plant based ingredients, no chemicals used here. Thank you Remi and her play list is phenomenal!

Straight to the point service. I will always recommend Remilaku for dreads. Prices are clearly posted and gone over with when scheduling an appointment every time so there is no mistake. I like the fact that I don't feel obligated to chat the entire time.

im only 16 so i dont know if i can really fit my opinion in but i went to her tonight to get a loc retwist and its perfect good quality good everything i recommend this place and it feels like home thanks Remi will for sure come again
