I recently visited Renew Body Spa and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was soothing, with calming music and a welcoming vibe. The staff was professional and attentive, making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit.

The workers are professional and nice, they do their job well and are attentive, that being said, if you use a GROUPON they will charge you an extra 5$ , likely to recoup the cost of using a groupon, and lastly there is a minimum 15$ extra for a one hour massage, so in total you pay an extra 20$ if you can afford them, it's worth a one time visit but that's it, try it once to experience it and that's about it there isn't a real reason to come back. The actual massage itself was on the rough side, if you have knots that need to be released then this is a good place to go, how ever if your massage preference is the more subtle Smooth type that relaxes you then this may not be for you, i do not know if you can request a different style of massage, how ever the workers do ask if they are being too rough.

Great experience today. passed by today and decided to treat myself after a long day work. this place is clean, comfortable. the receptionist is very friendly. the music relax my mind already when I walked in. Lily really knows where the spot of the body, it hurts a little but definitely relief your pain after. definitely recommend and will go more.

I went to renew body spa for a massage today. The hygiene and environment in the store are very good, and the service attitude is also good. Nancy's female technician's massage technique is very good, and it is very comfortable to press. I will go there often and take my friends with me in the future.

Booked for my boyfriend to get a massage tonight and the lady was very rough. Not taking direction at all on what he wanted as far as pressure and then demanded a tip and locked him in the building. I honestly want to go to the police but i am going to give your company a chance to make it a right . It’s completely unacceptable to have locked him in building demanding money for a service that was already paid for and then did terrible on!! completely disgusted

I really enjoyed the foot bath with foot massage, then back massage and cupping experience. The masseuse Jack was great, and could apply more or less pressure as I wanted. The cupping was intense in a great way, and I felt my blood flow and circulation improve, and I felt energized from it. Also I enjoyed the tranquil environment with soft music of Renew Body Spa.

As a client of this place for many years, I will never return. The massage was so bad and they actually charge more for 90' instead of giving a discount for booking more time as it goes with any service you pay for. So yh it's a no go and feels like a scam. By the way I actually called prior to my visit to confirm the price and they said it was 55 and when I got there they announced the prices has changed...scammers.

I decided to try an new massage spot since it is so close to work. I had been going someplace nearby, but the therapists I would frequent always left me wanting more. I am so so happy that I found Renew Body Spa. My first appointment last week was with David, who is INCREDIBLE, so I booked a second session with him today and feel very lucky to have found someone so good/talented at what he does. The last two times I have seen him, my body feels so much better, with less tension, more flexibility and a deep feeling of relaxation. A perfect blend of deeper work and intuitive relaxing massage. I plan on coming back as much as I can during the month. The vibe is very cozy and the music is very calming and makes you feel like you are in a serene environment. Overall, my experience with David is amazing. Highly recommend. The service I have been getting is a 60 minute massage with 30 minute reflexology!

If you use the Groupon for a discount, they charge you a “$5 Tax,” which is the same cost as just booking the massage through them. To the person saying that is sales tax - Sales tax in NYC IS $.08 and I have never had to do that for any other Groupon. Scam. Go somewhere else.

Went here for 1 hour massage. It was very strong pressure, but I actually liked it. 1 star is because they gave me a fungal infection, and it’s going to take at least 6 weeks to recover.

I am a regular customer here but will NOT be returning here anymore. The masseuse was really REALLY rough on my back to a point where it was not relaxing at all.Instead every minute was dreadful and painful.Not just that,in the middle of the massage,she turned on the lights.Told me to add essential oil for another $10. Like what and why?!?! Cherry on top was after massage when i paid $9 which was already 20% of the tip ,the receptionist forced me to tip more and demanded more money for tip.Who the heck asks for tip themselves??? It should be based off of their service.Also,for that painfully horrible massage? Also,it was a deep tissue massage full body .The masseuse never touched my feet to massage. What a waste of time and money.They will have secret pricing surprises for you. Will not be returning and recommend you as well,to take yourself somewhere else or enjoy the pain after!

I love massages and go to multiples places. My friend recommended this place. Got a Groupon. I love how they have closed doors and private rooms instead of the hanging sheets. I got an hour and a half massage and she did a great job.

I decided to go to place to relax after work, was really disappointed. I got a massage 2 days ago from Wildflower Spa (midtown) and left feeling brand new… I thank the person for trying to massage me but I feel like my little sister could’ve done a better job sadly. I still feel the same & also got my back massages with a towel for 20 mins. That should’ve been my time to stop it and just get my money back. My feet still hurt which is why I went there in the first place. I still tipped her for effort but sheesh

I really loved this place I'd come here almost every week but today I asked for the same thing I usually get which is half back/half foot.. they did not do that and then they were rude about it. It's really disappointing lol I've been coming here for a few years, sometimes the massage is about 55 minutes not an hour anyway and I don't complain but this was not cool.
