I highly recommend Christianna! I was very hesitant my first time, but she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. After the first time, I had to come back. She really focused on my trouble areas and helped me reach a deep sense of relaxation that I haven't been able to reach on my own. She takes her time and really zones in to what the body needs. I will be a regular with her and the spa!

I came to UVA for a stem cell transplant. I had a pinched nerve and the pain was unbelievable. I called and Heather was so kind to get me in the same day. After 3 visits she has me on the road to recovery. Totally professional from start to finish. I highly recommend her business for your needs.

I’m so happy with every massage I have had here. Each massage therapist is talented and unique. I have gotten deep tissue massages, and the use of hot stones and warm towels throughout is such a treat.

When I look for a spa, I'm paying attention two things. A massage therapist who caters the session to my specific needs and an overall relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I found ReNew following a few months of shopping around and after a few ad hoc sessions decided to set up recurring appointments. Scheduling and making adjustments to appointments is really easy as their admin is always responsive whether by text, phone, or email. They also frequently have openings come available that they advertise to all clients first-come-first-serve, which create opportunities for a surprise treat day. The spa is located upstairs in an adorable building and recent renovations have expanded the space to include a separate entrance that leads into a cozy lounging nook where you can spend time before and after sessions. I typically schedule with the same therapist, Jenna, but have also had appointments with others when I want to squeeze in an off-schedule appointment. Jenna has the sweetest energy and has an ability to put you at ease and ensures you are comfortable throughout the massage. Every session is very thoughtful, asking if her touch was the right amount of pressure, checking out medical history etc. Jenna is very skillful, knowledgeable, and knows exactly the right areas to work on. I am continuously impressed by her professional and attentive care. The time always goes by so quickly, but the entire experience is extremely relaxing to such a point, that I almost always fall asleep. Her hints and tips about stretching and movement has also improved my overall well being immensely. But, you can't go wrong with any of the staff here. I just had a session with Kelley and her technique, knowledge, lovely firm pressure combined with a range of temperatures- warm oils to hot stones- were 'chef's kiss'. By the end of the session, all my knots were worked out, tension eased and I left feeling refreshed for the rest of the day. Soothing scents, soft lighting, relaxing music, coupled with a clean, tidy studio makes every visit an absolute pleasure.

I have extremely knotted shoulder and neck muscles and so I need massage but most massage therapists can’t get at the problem. But holy holy!! Jenna is amazing. She is respectful professional thorough sensitive and STRONG when she needs to be. She puts her whole energy into each massage. Wow. And the studio is gorgeous. Calm, aesthetically peaceful and beautiful. I drive over an hour for Jenna. Because nobody else comes close. And I’ve given many therapists a try.

We had a couples massage in ReNew Cville's new space. I knew I wanted a therapeutic massage, but my husband didn't know what was needed. The masseuses Heather and Katelynne are excellent. Both are very skilled at determining the right massage type to use in each case and at finding all of the knots and working them free. The space is warm, calming and cozy. I definitely recommend ReNew Cville whether you are after a massage to pamper sore muscles, or if you need serious therapeutic massage.

Katelynne gave me an amazing massage. She got to muscles, tendons and bones that I didn't know I had. I'll be back for more. I saw Katelynne again yesterday and once again she eased the intense pain I was feeling in my neck as well as her thorough massaging head to toe... literally. She even gave me tips to ease my neck pain on my own.

From the moment I pulled up to the charming building, I had a good feeling. The ease of access, and the welcoming and nicely appointed space set the right tone. Jenna was welcoming, professional, warm, and accommodating. She asked the right questions, and was able to provide a perfect treatment including some deep tissue work and hot stones. Nothing was too much or too little. I just wished I'd had a 2 hour treatment! Highly recommend.

Had a very nice massage with Jenna. She has great skills and adjusts pressure to your liking. She also focused on my problem area during the session and that has helped greatly in relieving lower back issues. I will definitely continue with future appointments.

I have been going to Heather for over 15 years, I had tried other masseuses in the past but none ever had the natural skill to learn my individual set of issues that would happen from time to time from working out and occasional injuries from daily tasks, I am pleased to refer her to anyone I know.

I have been going to heather for 15 years. I have been around the world and had massage most of the place I have visited. She is the best I have been to bar none. Deep tissue massage is on point. I have lower back problems and joint problems. Used to go to a chiropractor now all I do is go to her. Everyone should book as soon as you are able. I recommend getting on the schedule as soon as you can , her appointments fill up quick. Most appointments are 6 months out.

Heather gives the best massages I’ve ever received! From the moment you walk in, Heather makes sure you are comfortable. She consults with you before the massage and checks in throughout the massage. I love how she incorporates hot stones, stretches, and essential oils to enhance your experience. She even uses warm washcloths so that you don’t leave with oily hands, feet, and face when you leave. Unlike some massage therapists I’ve had, Heather is able to massage deep into the tissue when asked to use deep pressure. I highly recommend Renew Body & Mind - best place in Cville for massages, hands down! Update 2/2024: Heather has expanded and I’m happy to say that both Jenna and Katelyn offer the same high quality massages. Do yourself a favor and book a session with any of the therapists at this place - you will be so happy with the services you receive!

Katelynn’s massage technique is spot on. During the consultation she asked me about areas of concern, she listened and tailored the massage to my needs. Katelynn provided a combination of trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage (her speciality) and Swedish massage. The hot stones were on point to accentuate deep heat and relaxation. The atmosphere was conducive to relaxing providing a holistic sense of well being.The hot tea was nice but I opted for the bottled water provided. I left feeling light, not burdened by life, relaxed and ready for the next work week. I highly recommend Katelynn as your massage therapist. Katelynn’s is now my massage therapist. Friends will be getting gift cards so they can experience one of the best massage they will ever receive.

Wow. Finally, I have found someone who has fixed months of back trouble! Jenna was absolutely amazing and corrected areas I didn't even know needed correcting. She could tell exactly which muscles needed stretching in my back and hips, and even took the time to write down some "homework" stretches until our next massage! Cannot recommend enough, CVille is lucky to have her!
