You Force people to give tip which is very bad. I gave a tip of $5 out of my heart. But you requested for $10 tip that's so poor of you guys. Tip is suppose to be willingly not by force not a must. Poor customer service

Came here with my mom and we both did the body work and foot for 90 mins total. The place is a hole in the wall and no frills but the massage is AMAZING!!! My mom and I felt so relaxed and airy afterwards. Would absolutely go back and recommend!!

WOW. Just wow. I haven’t been here in over a year due to the pandemic, but a week in a hotel bed brought my and my neck here today for relief. This spot has been a regular haunt for several years for me (wow that makes me sound like such a city girl), and they’ve only improved since I last stopped in. If you’re looking for a proper, effective, no frills massage, then Renewing Spa is your place. Upon your arrival they’ll offer water, and ask your preferred pressure. A new addition (since I’ve been) is they ask if there’s any areas you’d like focused on during your time. Tommy worked with me today, and absolutely tore it up in the best way possible. I feel like a relaxed and sleepy marshmallow compared to the concrete cinderblock form in which I arrived. I’ve always been made to feel comfortable there, whether working with a female or male masseuse. The oils they use are also not sticky and I have never left feeling icky! I’m definitely never going a full year without visiting, ever again. 10/10, can’t recommend them enough!!! Update as of 24/05/06 - they remain incredible. I worked with Tina this morning and she used some new techniques I’ve never felt before. I’d never come in the morning before and I think it’s my new favorite! So quiet, I was the only client there for a bit. I love this business!

I have been a regular customer and have always been very happy with the services provided. Normally I ask for a male therapist because I only like very deep tissue massage. Yesterday Lucy was the only person available and I had an excellent massage from her. She found all the areas that needed extra attention knew what type of pressure and technique to use on different areas. I could not have been any happier!

Still celebrating bae's bday I thought to book couples massages. This place came highly recommended for years by my homegirl but I never got a chance to check them out, until now! Babyyyyyy let me tell u this place is a real gem for sure! Our reservation was for 11:30am but we ended up getting there earlier and it was as if they were waiting on us. She took us right to the back and to our room. She instructed us to get undressed to our undies and lay on the massage table. We did just that and once I popped my hole in the paper my masseuse was asking was I ready. Let me tell you he worked out each and every kink I had! Kinks in places I didn't even know I had he worked and smoothed out. I was worried about bae with his sciatica but he assured me he was good. This place is so clean and professional. They charge a card fee so make sure u bring cash to avoid this. It is on 8th Ave so parking is a nightmare and expensive but it's worth it so give yourself enough time to look. We walked out of there on clouds and I've never felt better. Def put this on your list to check out!!

Great massage! Wonderful value. Legit, no hanky panky, she got right to work giving my whole body a tune up, no wasting time. Kind of a cross between a firm Thai massage + Swedish + reflexology. I will definitely be back!

I been addicted to this place for some time now!! Back pain? Foot pain? Leg pain? Headaces? This is the place. They'll massage temples, hands, wrists n all. I never knew a damn ankle massage could feel so good. Lol...U feel brand new when you leave this place!!!!!! Update: 3/11/23 I remember Lisa from some years ago. She was super good. Bring her back!!! She worked away all the pain in my body.

I love renewing spa! I’ve been coming here since 2019 and it doesn’t disappointed. Their massages are the best each time. I like very hard pressure to help with all the knots in my back and they thoroughly work that out each time. Love the hot stones included too! It’s a monthly spot for me. Cash only!

I love this place! Each time I travel to NYC, I get a massage here. The 1 hr long session feels heavenly after walking for hours on end. I’ve had both a female and male masseuse and they both have magical hands. Very clean and the dim lighting gives a serene atmosphere.

I would like to say this experience was great but it wasn’t. When I lived in NYC this was THE SPOT to get a massage. I came back and immediately booked a massage and was so excited to go back. It was not at all what I remembered. I specifically asked for hard intensity. Halfway through my massage, they switched providers and the second half was even worse. It felt more like touching than any sort of therapeutic massage. On my next trip back to New York City I will finding a new spot.

Long-time customer - Decent massage for the price - but, it can be hit or miss depending upon who your masseuse is. The quality has definitely changed over the last 8+ years I’ve been coming here, but it’s still far better than a lot of other, similar spots in the neighborhood. If you get a good massage, definitely ask for their name so you can call ahead and request them for a future visit!!

This was an incredible experience. Lisa and Paul were so wonderful. Paul was so experienced and hit the sore spots and I feel 1000% better. I came in with so many aches and pains (back pain for the last 4 weeks) and I am so RENEWED! two things to keep in mind - 1) it’s right next to Brooklyn bagel (if you can’t find it) and 2) bring cash - it’s preferred and you will want to tip well because the service is so professional and healing! avoid Anna at all cost: bad techniques and intentionally missed all sore point due to laziness! and the owner still insisted 20% tip even after i gave honest feedback on her terrible service!!!
