Called the salon about 1pm , on a Monday and scheduled a pedicure for 4pm. 10 mins before my appointment they called me back and said they couldn't take me. I was already parked and I saw they took a different client. Maybe they made more money with them. So disappointed, I planned my whole day around it. They also blamed her young son on answering the phone , so unprofessional

Had a great experience. Went for facial. There was a cancellation so I got an appointment right away, otherwise advanced reservations are recommended. Got an organic facial. All the products smelled great. My skin felt super happy after!!

Favorite salon ever! They are so kind and accommodating here. Jenny did the most amazing job on my nails, and Angie gave me such a relaxing pedicure. It was such a blessing to come get pampered here today, I’m 37 weeks pregnant and they squeezed me in and made my day! I cant recommend this salon enough! Thank you Renu 21! :)

I always feel refresh and 5 lbs lighter after getting a facial from Susan. The place is clean.The staff are friendly. It is centrally located in Almaden with plenty of parking spaces. And the prices are very reasonable! I love this place. Let’s support them so they can keep on growing.

I was referred here by my best friend and I’m so glad she did! Susan is a treasure- skilled, knowledgeable, personable, and genuine. I’ve had hydrofacials in the past but this time I felt like I was in good hands and my skin feels and looks better. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to step up their skincare or make this a staple in their self care routine :-)

I'm very saddened by the interaction I had with a nail technician. She was lovely up until the point where she accidentally sliced me with the nail file. Not a big deal but I was upset at how she blamed me repeatedly. She kept saying I had cut my nails too short. But she caused me pain, she broke the skin, then she py acetone on it. I said ouch. She painted over the wound. Then tried to clean it with more acetone :( why. Why. Why. And I still gave her 15% tip so I'm mad at myself. Never coming back. She didn't take any responsibility.

Professional front desk service and phone answering. Susan is very knowledgeable and gives realistic expectations on the results her services can give at their price points. But the results have been very good for me and she’s always booked out now, so must be the same for everyone else

Love Renu21!! I’m super picky about my nails and I have always been happy. I get dip powder for my nails and Pedicures every 3-4 weeks. All the staff is awesome and friendly. I always get compliments on my nails and refer them here🥰

Today I went in to see Susan for my very first facial. Yep! I've never had one before and I hate that I waited this long. Susan was absolutely sweet, kind, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She thoroughly educated me about what she identified with my skin, explained the causes and how to move forward with a new skin regiment. I was very happy with Susan and the services she provided. I'm also happy I decided to finally pamper myself and my skin. I'm looking forward to going back to see her in 8 weeks. Thank you Susan! You're awesome!

I saw my friend's beautiful nails, and I asked her where she went. She told me Renu21 and recommended the nail tech, Jenny. So I went and got my nails done by Jenny. Got 2 sets so far, and I've loved them. I've gotten compliments on both sets.

I think this is a solid 3 star experience. I went in for a personalized facial with Susan and we decided on an acne facial with dermaplane. Susan is very sweet and very knowledgable but she was not careful. I have cuts all over my face that sting and burn. I attached an image below. The experience isn’t something I would consider luxurious. The room is cluttered with boxes and the experience was just okay. Pros: the staff is VERY NICE!! Everyone was friendly and kind and Susan was also very friendly and easy to talk to. Susan is very good at extracting blackheads it barely hurt and didn’t leave marks on my face which is a plus. Another pro is that Susan is a bio-chemist so she has a background in making skin care which I think gives her some extra knowledge when doing facials. I didn’t break out from the facial and I think my skin does feel less congested. Also, when I left my face wasn’t all red and raw from the extractions which is a plus because my face usually does get that way which means she’s really good at it! There’s a few things that bothered me. 1. She makes a homemade blackhead remover which she says isn’t FDA approved because she doesn’t sell it so i was a bit uncomfortable but also it didn’t irritate my skin so I guess it’s fine. 2. She was very harsh when she was cleaning my face or doing masks so it wasn’t the most soothing experience… 3. She was not careful when dermaplaning and it left a bunch of cuts on my face. (I don’t know if that’s normal as this is my first time getting it done but I don’t think it’s supposed to leave me scratched up and burning) 4. She put a mask on after the dermaplaning and didn’t warn me that my face would burn like crazy from it and I’m usually not sensitive but I felt like my face was on fire so she put a fan on to help it cool. 5. She wasn’t careful when using the high frequency wand either and when she would talk to me she would leave it right near my eye and I had to physically move my face because it hurt. 6. She kept pressing on my cystic acne which I told her hurt so that was a bit annoying. 7. I think with dermaplaning I wish I got a bit more insight on after it was over such as don’t go in the sun after, don’t go to the gym, no hot showers, etc. Which I had to ask for rather than have her warn me beforehand. Overall this was an OKAY experience. Not the best but not the worst. I think for some people who don’t care as much about the pampering aspect of a facial would enjoy this more because Susan does seem knowledgable in what she does.

It's just wasting money. I didn't see any changes after that, and I wasn't happy and satisfied. Just simply cheap work but charge $120. Not worth it.

Hello everyone, I was looking for a good facial place in San Jose area. After lot of research and reading the reviews online, I decided to visit Renu21. My treatment was with Susan who is a thorough professional, she understands and does proper skin analysis before recommending you a treatment. She did the derma treatment for my skin as she suggested it was dehydrated and had congestions. I am someone who doesn’t use much chemical products, I usually keep things simple and for facial I like a good massage followed by face mask etc. But treatment with Susan was different. After the session, my skin did look supple, and it was glowing. I ended up paying over $150 for one session so it is on an expensive side. After 2-3 days of treatment, my skin is back to the usual self (dry). So, it is not like one session will change your skin dramatically.
