This place is a true sanctuary — an integral part of my skincare routine and the overall wellness of my body and mind. Laura and Amy are both incredible at what they do! I have very reactive skin and Laura is always aware of products that contain alcohol and constantly searching for any new product that would be less reactive for my skin, very knowledgeable and the experience and environment is so relaxing! Highly recommend, book in advance these ladies have no shortage of requests for services:)

I've been going to see Laura for years now for several different services. I continue to be impressed at how professional and knowledgeable she is about her field of study. I enjoy relaxing in the comforting environment that she's created while she works her magic with precision and skill! I recently had two appointments with Amy and she was a joy to work with. I will definitely continue going to Repose for my skin care needs. Laura also has great skin care products for sale at the studio, as well as jewelry and greeting cards and other fun trinkets. Also conveniently located near downtown Charlottesville.

Laura is like the High Priestess of Skin Care - her wisdom and touch something akin to magic, with a deep sense of care and ritual that is unsurpassed in my experience. I have been to Repose Studio a number of times now and have enjoyed her professionalism and expert care in waxing. Her hands work wonders in massage, and her facials and lymphatic drainage are sublime. The spa/studio space is calm and inviting, and her retail range is unique. I highly recommend a visit.

Repose Spa is the best way to treat yourself from massages to facials to the new service Herbal Raindrop Wrap. I have been a client of Laura’s for years. She is professional, courteous, super-knowledgeable and thoughtful. The spa is clean and inviting and always smells amazing, very relaxing environment. I received the new wrap today and definitely recommend trying it out! Your whole body will feel relaxed and soothed.

I haven’t felt this relaxed in a long time!! With all the stress and anxiety from the pandemic it was nice to just shut my eyes and not think about the world around me. Wearing a mask all day has not been good for my face, obviously, so Laura worked her magic and I am starting to feel confident in my own skin again. She’s helping me with a new routine to prevent future breakouts and I’m already counting down the days for my next appointment.

Repose Spa (owned and operated by Laura) is fantastic. I only used her waxing services, but as a person who struggles to prioritize self-care Laura’s been an amazing find. She was recommended by a friend because I was nervous to try waxing, and has been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and a relaxing, relatable person to spend time with during the services. The space is pristinely clean, I never once felt pushed to try other products/services, but if I’d been interested in anything else spa-related I would have confidently gone to her—especially since massage/skin care is a true career for her.
