I had a disappointing experience at this salon. My haircut was noticeably uneven, with the left side longer than the right, making it look completely unbalanced. Throughout the appointment, my stylist’s hands were shaky, which made me even more nervous about the outcome. The overall atmosphere felt awkward and unwelcoming, which only added to my discomfort. Unfortunately, this was my first haircut since moving back to Dallas, and I was really hoping for a better experience. I took a chance, but I wouldn’t recommend this salon based on my visit.

If you’re looking to restore your faith in a salon, go to Republic Hair Co. The haircut I had BEFORE coming here was so bad I didn’t wear my hair down for months. Then I went to republic and chose Niecy and had an exceptional experience. She walked me through every step of the process, and before cutting a piece she told me why she was going to do so. This is exactly what I wanted. THANK YOU NIECY!!!

Jessica is the best for sure. I had never tried extensions in my life because I didn't feel confident and Jessica gave me so much confidence that I took the risk of getting my hair extensions and it was the best decision I have ever made in my life.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest most welcoming girly at the front desk! I got a curly cut with Arien and she was absolutely wonderful!! I showed her some inspo pics and explained what I was wanting and she executed it perfectly! And she was so knowledgeable and shared different tips on how to style and care for my hair which I loved!! Shes so talented and is such a sweet soul!

I got my first curly cut by Arien and let me tell you she worked her magic!! She told me what products to use and how to style my hair. She asked me my hair goals and achieved it. Arien is very knowledgeable and made me feel confident!

Arien is such an amazing hair stylist! She helped me to find my waves/curls and provided such great education on how to take care of and style my hair. She worked with me keeping the routine doable and something I could maintain every day. She also just colored my hair (first time I’ve ever had my hair colored!) and it turned out beautifully and very natural looking! She is also so sweet! Will continue to see her as long as I can!

First off, this salon is so very cute simply for the aesthetic it provides. It has a very open, simplistic yet elegant look which is very welcoming to everyone. Second, I see Arien and she’s been the best thing my hair has EVER had! She knows what she’s doing especially with curly hair which I have a lot of. She’s very personable and sweet making the appointment relaxing yet interactive and fun. My hair journey has been nothing but great with this salon and my girl Arien. 1000/10 recommend

Got a haircut with Hunter A. yesterday. I'm really happy with it! Its rare for me to be happy with a haircut. Normally I walk out of the salon thinking to myself "Omg why did I do this??" Hunter rounded out the top and sides, cleaned up the back, fixed my bangs and gave me some extra layers for volume. She was incredibly patient with me and asked lots of clarifying questions to narrow down my wants and goals for my hair. It's hard for me to verbalize my thoughts sometimes, so I really appreciate Hunter being as talkative as she was. She gave me a lot of advice about my hair too. She told me I'm double crowned and have 3A hair, I was not aware of either of those things prior tothe appointment. I'm apparently shampooing and conditioning too often, and using too many styling products. Which explains why my hair was constantly frizzy but also sort of moist. She recommended I use lightweight water soluble brands like Ouidad and R+Co. I went to TJ Maxx and bought Ouidad's climate control shampoo, conditioner, moisture lock leave in and curl quencher gel. My hair is so light and fluffy, and my curls are shiny and defined! I should've bought this stuff years ago. I'd absolutely recommend Hunter to anyone, but especially people with curly hair. I'll be back in a few months for a touch up, with Hunter, of course. 😊

My first time experience was wonderful! From checking in to meeting my stylist Carla. The salon is very pretty, clean, & the details around the inside is really nice. My stylist is amazing & I highly recommend not only Carla but the salon itself.

I got my first curly cut from Hunter and the entire experience was exactly what I was hoping for. She was very nice, professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about her craft. She helped me find the right haircut for my face shape and hair texture and explained what she was doing as she went along. I've never had a stylist do that before, it felt like she cared about my hair and how I was feeling about it. I could never go to another stylist after my experience with Hunter, she's the best. The salon's atmosphere is relaxing and chic and every employee I came into contact with was super nice. It took years, but I finally found my go to salon. If you have wavy or curly hair this is the salon for you. I definitely will be back soon!

I had the pleasure of attending the Ribbon Cutting for Republic Hair Co. What an swanky salon! I was impressed from the moment I walked in, with the modern buildout and decor, including artwork for purchase from local artists. RHCo just has a cool vibe. Jennifer and her team are as professional and welcoming as they are talented. Highly recommend!

Sorry, but this was a disaster. When people tell you they need a strong colorist, you got to deliver. My hair is ruined, and it will take time and money to recover. I was shocked that the colorist didn't check on the color. Not once. I would not write this review if I would not be charged full price for 3 times redo of my color. It gets better, the owner called me and was basically a bully.

The salon was super cute and clean. The music choice was perfect. I felt so boujee! I booked a curly cut with Niecy and she was the best! She made sure to ask lots of questions to make sure I got what I wanted. As a curly girl it can be nerve wracking to find a hairdresser you trust and I trust Niecy (or anyone at the salon) with my life!
