Kayla is amazing! I've been going to her for 4 years now for my yearly cut and color and she blows me away every time! I've gotten natural and fashion colors, and I never have to over-explain what I want. I trust her to do what will look good on me. I get non-stop compliments on my hair after she's worked her magic on me. The vibes of the Salon are awesome too! With my most recent visit today I got to see the new location since her Sola studio and it's gorgeous with the same cozy and intimate feel, without the hustle and bustle of being around other studios. I highly recommend Kayla for all that she does!

Kayla is great! She is super friendly and always gets my hair right. She’s a color wiz, but I usually just go for a trim and some shape to my medium / long wavy hair. She will listen to you and give you exactly what you want. The shop where the hair studio is located also has lots of nice soaps and candles and it’s very beautifully curated.

Kayla is the ONLY place I'd go to get my color done. I have very dark hair naturally, and I've had many attempts by others to put red into my hair (with varying degrees of success). She truly is a color specialist, and the only place I would recommend to anyone for color services. Besides being technically skilled, Kayla is super lovely to chat with!

I have wanted to get blonde hair for years, but was always too intimated by hair salons to ever get my hair professionally dyed. Kayla washed away all of those fears by being patient and honest with me about the whole blonding process! I found Kayla after an initial visit at another salon turned my hair brassy orange, and I'm so grateful that I did. She was able to take my orange mess of hair and turn it into a stunningly gorgeous ashe blonde! If you want your hair colored, you have to go to Kayla! I won't trust anyone else with my hair!!

It took me over 4 years in South Carolina to find the PERFECT hair professional. Kayla is amazing and SO talented. She can do just about anything with regard to coloring. She is also super smart and a great conversationalist. Finally, and in this scary time of Covid-19, she has done a wonderful job of ensuring that her facilities are equipped, extremely clean and safe. She also did a wonderful job of communicating what I needed to do before and during my appointment to comply with Covid-related requirements. Kayla is absolutely amazing! I had been wanting to do something with hair for a while. But, I was unsure about where to go or if I’d get the results I was looking for. And, I was kind of anxious about dying my hair, as I hadn’t dyed my hair in a long time. Kayla exceeded my expectations. She was patient with me, determined the best action for my hair, and it came out looking better than I could have imagined. I get so many compliments and love everything about how my hair turned out. She has a very beautiful, cozy studio space. And, she makes you feel so comfortable. If you’re trying to decide on a place to go for a hair transformation, this is the place!!

Kayla did an amazing color correction for my hair and saved me from more embarrassment! I had my hair dyed grey at another salon two weeks ago and several things went wrong. Not knowing any better, I allowed the other stylist to bleach my hair twice in one sitting - a process that has created severe damage in my hair - and then apply the color on top. The color was applied unevenly, not having truly enough, and it left me with blonde roots and more large patches of frazzled, damaged blonde throughout my hair. I was miserable and told myself I'd never trust a stylist again! Many people, including myself until recently, didn't know the distinction between a certified colorist and your average stylist, but this experience taught me that the differences between techniques and overall knowledge are vast. Kayla consulted me first and gave it to me honestly; my hair needed repair and the blonde wasn't light enough to accept the grey therefore another bleaching would be necessary if that's what I wanted. My hair wouldn't be healthy enough for that for another week after treatment, but she offered to apply darker colors that would be easier for my hair to accept in the meantime. I agreed to black to cover the roots and some pink and purple to absorb the grey - two colors I never imagined I'd put in my hair - and it came out beautifully! I'm so in love with the work she's done, I would recommend her to anyone looking for those hard-to-dye colors. I will always be back for more as long as Kayla wants me! Thanks again!
