Very nice salon. I just got an undercut ($25). Macy did a really good job. She was very sweet. She ran across the salon to get me a glass of water when I couldn't stop coughing all of a sudden. Great service. The parking lot across the street does not cost anything. Ever since covid hit in 2020, the parking kiosk (where you would pay to park using an app) hasn't been used. Very welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was professional and kind. Offered me a drink when I walked in. Decor and plants in the building were cute. Hair stylist was friendly and she offered advice and did a fantastic job on my hair.

A friend of mine had the most beautiful lashes and I said to her if those are not God given you’ve got to tell me who your “Angel” is. Well, her name is Tiara and she is amazing!! She uses all the different lengths and sizes of lashes to get different looks. I get so many compliments on my lashes!! I just love her!! Not only will you feel better physically when you leave you will feel better emotionally as well!! Tiara is someone who has a lot of life’s lessons without having lived a very long life!! She’s a great listener but she also has great insight. I’m super happy with her and I’m confident you will be too!!

Five big stars! Had a 3 pm appt and Jessica was right on time. They offered me a cold drink and we discussed what I wanted my beard to look like. Got a fantastic haircut, hot towel, beard trim and super refreshing shampoo! I think I found me a new spot when in OKC! I will definitely be back!

I have been coming to this salon for several years, But these last few times, they have messed up my haircut. I told them from the beginning that I want a mullet haircut. I got it short on the top, but my ponytail was cut off. Not once but twice only because they said that they knew what they were doing. They usually charge me $25-$35. These last few times $50. I have found a better stylist on SW 25th and Robinson for $5

I wanted lashes but couldn’t stand how fake they looked. My dental hygienist had beautiful lashes that I wanted. When I asked her how did she get her lashes to look like that, she told me about Tiara. Tiara is fabulous!!! She definitely understood the assignment. I love my lashes and how natural they look. Revel Eight is nestled between several high quality venues in the heart of Midtown in Oklahoma City. The atmosphere is relaxing and the furniture is comfortable as you wait for your staff member to assist you. They have a salon, spa, and barbers to assist you. I personally use a barber for my needs and Trisha has been my barber for years. I get a fairly short haircut, beard & mustache trim, and straight razor shave on the back of my neck. The lotions and conditioners make me smell like a million dollars when I leave. Consistently great, service with a smile, and keeping you looking your best is what I can expect from Revel Eight.

I had never had a professional haircut before. My wife took me here and it's been wonderful everytime. I show a picture of the hairstyle I would like done and there has never been any issues. Everyone here is welcoming and easy to talk to, it's a nice atmosphere, there are also drinks which is nice. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

I’ve been a long time fan of this salon and Tiara Cook’s lash service. I just got a new set for summer and have had sooooo many compliments! I asked for a “natural” set and when I saw my best friend, I batted my eyes at her for a full minute and had to point them out. It’s exactly what I wanted. ME - but just a ton better and easier! I’ve been coming to Revel Eight for years. Tiara is the best aesthetician!!! She makes my lashes look so natural everyone is constantly asking if they’re my real lashes!!! Tracey makes my hair look so fabulous that I get compliments daily. Plus he’s willing to go all out and it looks so good that I even get compliments from the unlikeliest of people!!

I’ve been debating whether or not I should post this review because I was hoping to eventually love my hair. But it’s been a month and a half since my last experience at this salon and I’ve had to look at my hair every day since in extreme dissapointment. This is beyond frustrating, as every experience here has proved to be worse than the last. I know you’re thinking “why do you keep going back!” Fair question, but it’s because I used to have a great experience with Rose as my stylist. As time went on I tried out a few other stylists when I couldn’t get into see her—mistake. Kila has cut my hair a few times, and every time she either overcharges me or turns me away because she couldn’t be bothered, even though I book all my appointments in advance every. single. time. I once went in with a request for a color and cut, and she instead tried to reschedule me for another day for a session lasting 6+ hours. This is outrageous, as the Revel8 website states that a lengthy appointment for color should be 2.5 hours, and the longest appointment for a cut should be 1.5 hours. To be clear, I scheduled my appointment for 4 hours, in advance. I included a 15 minute consultation with her to relay in detail what I wanted, so none of this was out of the blue. I understand that every stylist is different and every session will be different for every client, but that is an insane amount of time to expect someone to book for, especially when she came highly recommended by the front desk staff for color. I ended up just getting a haircut and leaving disappointed. To immediately want to reschedule the appointment and waste my time was insulting. The second time I saw Kila, I went for a cut and requested my long-grown-out curtain bangs to be cut again. The booking site quoted me around $75 (can’t remember the exact number, as it’s been almost a year since this cut). I understand the stylists set the prices, but Kila also never warned me that she would be charging much more than that amount at the beginning of our session. I’m not cheap, I tip well, and I would be willing to pay it had I known in advance that this was the price, but this was another very ill-communicated session that ended up with me paying a more than the amount that I expected for a mediocre haircut. In February, I wanted a change. So, I booked a balayage color session with a different stylist. They put me with Delanie, who the front staff assured me was not new to cutting and coloring hair, and specialized in balayage. I left the salon looking like an early 2000’s Kelly Clarkson. There were chunks of hair that had been lightened without being blended. I had to tell her at one point during the cut that she had missed several pieces of hair that she’d left uneven at the front of my face. She tried to tell me that with a few washes, the color would blend better and leave me with the melted, smooth balayage effect I wanted. As someone who has had many a balayage appointment, I was well aware that this was not true. I paid for the expensive session + tip, only to leave with the worst cut and color I’ve had in my life. I wear hats literally every day, in the hopes I can keep it under wraps until I can find a different stylist at a different salon to fix it. I can see past the lateness, the unprofessionalism, and whatever else because I know that these are human beings and things happen. But I cannot forgive paying hundreds of dollars only to be left with unacceptable, sub-standard hair. My intention in writing this is not to embarrass, anger, or ridicule anyone, but to hopefully bring attention to these issues so that in the future, clients are served with more transparency, both in pricing and in the skill-level of their stylists.
