Thee worst haircut I’ve ever had and I’m 60. The pictures on the website are excellent, but my haircut is massively overlayered and shapeless and wrong for my hair type (fine but thick and wavy). I look like the Beatles in the 60s, like a bowl was used to cut the top layer. I asked specifically not to overlayer it and explained the shape I would like and got the exact opposite. Back to the Beatles reference, there’s shelf of hair at about eye level that just sits there and doesn’t blend with anything. At best it’s an outdated cut that was never in style, but it’s not even that. Just massively unflattering and unstylish and very poorly done. Jason did my cut. Very nice person and salon. I don’t know where the pictures on the website came from but they are not the same stylist I had. Update: it’s been a few weeks and it’s morphed into a mullet: there’s a shelf at the bottom of my ears and the shelf at eye level. It’s so overlayeted that the top lays perfectly flat. It’s almost comical how unflattering this cut is. I can’t do anything with it and I might have to be on camera soon. Unless you want to look like you stepped out of the 70s, avoid at all costs.

I went to this place for the first time today, and I had an amazing experience. I was getting my hair colored for the very first time, so I was quite nervous. But Thuy was phenomenal- he colored my hair perfectly, and my haircut was simply AMAZING. I got so many compliments at an event I went to later in the day. The place is extremely neat, clean, and the stylists are very experienced and professional. Thuy told me he had been doing hair for 25 years - I definitely believe that based on how great I looked (but couldn’t believe it based on how young he looks!!!!) Thank you, Revive. I will be bringing my family there for their hair needs. B

The stylist know what they're doing and do a great job. They know what works for what type of hair and frame etc. It's reasonably priced. Very very clean and they are very thorough and consistent with Covid Precautions and maintaining everything sanitized. Very very happy i stumbled onto this salon.

I came to Revive with a bit of a difficult request: I had dark Asian hair that had been highlighted a few days ago and wanted even more of it to be lightened. The highlighting from the previous salon was a bit streaky and uneven in color/tone of blonde. I'm not sure who was servicing me today—reading from past reviews, perhaps it was Thuy?—but he was excellent, like magic. I can't believe I haven't been going here my whole life! He expressed to me that this could be a challenge for him and he usually doesn't do this sort of dramatic/unnatural coloring, emphasizing hat he'd like to preserve my hair's health. However, he promised me he could still give me allover evenness in color and make it more natural, so I trusted him. He worked quickly, professionally, and was extremely kind throughout. I received some foils and then a thorough shampoo/condition and blowdry. The end result was perfect and exactly like I'd been wanting all along; I came out as blonde as could be without sacrificing too much of my hair's health, and there was no streakiness. Not only was I delighted with the result but he seemed to take genuine pride + joy in making a client happy as well, you can tell how much he cares about his craft. The salon is super clean, with a nice waiting area, art on the walls, and a station with water bottles; I was greeted by another staffer with warmth and kindness. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic cut and color from the kindest people around. I'm definitely going to be coming back for a root touch-up! I don’t doubt Jason Tran’s ability, but unfortunately, I think he could do better with listening to his client’s needs. I made an appointment with him for a cut and color. I showed him some photo ideas I found online. He said he didn’t feel comfortable doing balayage, and I didn’t argue. I said that in that case, solid color would be fine. He gave no indication that solid color was an issue, or that he couldn’t do the cut I was asking for, but continued to say that he wasn’t comfortable creating balayage. Clearly he wasn’t listening to what I was saying, even though I repeated over and over and over again that I’m fine going without balayage or any other color effects. We had to cancel the appointment because of his strange refusal to go with a basic cut and color. I’m not sure I would recommend this salon.

It's really hard to find someone who can highlight my fine hair and not make it dry and damaged after. This is my second time coming here for highlights and they did an amazing job! He really puts a lot of thought and technique into what he does and is very professional. Thank you for making my hair look beautiful for my wedding!

Jason Tran is amazing!!!! He colors and cuts my hair and I continue to get compliments months after each session. He is very nice and easy to communicate with to make appointments. Also very reasonable prices for his amazing quality work.

Seriously the best place I’ve been to since I moved to Atlanta! Both Jason and Thuy are amazingly talented and I’ve never been happier with the results! Jason did my hair when I went dark for the fall and Thuy did my hair when I went blonde for the summer and the results were AMAZING! Highly highly recommend this place!
