I went to revive nails and the owner and his wife were so kind. I got a peppermint pedicure and it was great! Highly recommend this place! It was very clean and worth the money. Family atmosphere

I have been coming to Revive Nails for about a year and I’m always happy when I get my nails done here! Anthony, Mary, and their team, are incredible and always do great work! Depending on what I get, I typically pay between $40-$60 before tip, which is a great price for nails around Greensboro!

It saddens me to have to write a review like this. I have been coming to Revive since I found out they were open. They're only about 5 mins away from me, so it was very convenient. The services started out super well, with really great prices for SNS with tips. (I was usually paying around $35 maybe $40) I once went to get a full set of nails again, with designs on all my nails.. and it only cost $40. A bargain. However, now going I get SNS with tips, sure they're coffin shaped, but I leave paying $60 before a tip. (Understandably not as bad as other people have reviewed but the price jump is wild to me) within 6 years you're telling me it jumped almost $30? When I was getting multiple designs and now a basic sns with tips is costing $60 out the door? I digress on the topic of pricing. I came to this salon, and talked highly of it and ended op bringing my best friend along, as we enjoy getting our nails done together. I would always call to make us an appointment to ensure I wasn't going to bombard them with 2 extra people in case they were busy. There was multiple times, we would have the appointment and get sat down.. but in that time frame, Anthony (business owner/manager) would take multiple walk-ins. Multiple times we sat with our SNS soaking off for way longer than needed because we were pushed to the side for walk ins coming in. (Even during the time that it said they were by appt only) Matter of fact this past time we went together (just 2 weeks ago tomorrow actually), we both had SNS with tips on. We were sat down with Mary and Anthony, and they buffed our nails and then told us to put our fingers in a zip lock baggie of acetone, and then they told us to sit our fingers in a bowl of water. I'd like to note the water felt like it was boiling, and left us both with our fingers hurting and having to just hover them above the water. We didn't really find the time to let them know, because everytime the phone rings, Anthony stops what he's doing to pick it up. Same with any walk in. I understand you want to help patrons as they come into your business, but you can always ask for a second to finish up your current task. We finally finished getting our nails done, and the end product was nothing to really look at. My nails specifically were not at all like the reference picture I showed Mary. (I will attach pictures below of the reference picture, as well as what mine looked like upon leaving) A very simply design that shouldn't be hard to do.. had many tweaks to them and they turned out something totally different. I'm not one to speak up, just because I feel awkward and just decide to deal with it. The design could be dealt with, but it was still annoying that they were much different from The reference picture I had shared. Moving on to the last and final part of this review and what will more than likely prompt me to not return here. A week after I got them done, I was washing some dishes. (I do not use my hands down in the dishes, I use a scrubbing brush so that I minimize the risk of ruining the nails) I was washing a spoon, and my finger slipped which broke my nail completely in half, and ripped off majority of my natural nail underneath. The false nail tip was hanging on by skin, which I just had to rip off since I couldn't even try to clip it off. I fully believe my nails were buffed way too much and were so brittle that they hardly stood a chance to withstand anything else. I don't believe I will be returning anytime soon, if at all. The prices going up that much, in that short of an amount of time, is more than just inflation. The work is not as focused as it used to be, and the focus is not on the correct client the nail tech is working on. Joy is the only nail tech that focuses in on what she is doing, and backs it up with the work shown afterwards. ** editing to add this after the poor response from the owner paying more money should not mean less quality. Sure you have to raise your prices, but the nails got worse as they got more expensive. They should not have RIPPED OFF MY NAIL.

I truly believe this salon may treat women of color differently. And I hate that because I have never left this type of review. THIS REVIEW is BASED ON DESIGN PRICING NOT FILL IN as each time I visited I had gotten a fill in the day before out of town at a different salon. I travel for work. So I can't imagine how much they charge for the fill in plus design. Probably $100 plus! (There's another customer that reviewed and mentioned the high price changes go read her review) - - - My first visit at this location was 8/29/24 and I got a French tip with 2 nails w/rhinestone. I got design only. It was $45 not including tip. See attached photos including my nails and my bank statement charge from the salon. I came again today 9/22/24 for the SAME thing and they said it would be $55.....Huh? How did it jump from $45 to $55? Remember, design only. I didn't need a fill in. I showed them a pic of my nails and and my online bank statement and said "u just charged $45 for this identical design 3 weeks ago. They got extremely defensive and told me that PRICES CHANGE DAILY. They also lied and said my nails are longer. Are you kidding me?? See attached photos! As you can see my nails are the EXACT SAME LENGTH. So today I paid $45 for plain French only. When just 3 weeks ago I got French plus rhinestones for $45. I absolutely didn't leave a tip today because they treated me like crap! They were angry that I told them they're charging more than last time. Anyone would be upset about that bc it makes no sense. Unbelievable! I am appalled. And disgusted. They just decided to charge more today for absolutely NO REASON. See attached photos. I will not be returning. I can tell their customer base is not women of color. And I wasn't very welcomed there. The non colored customers were greeted warmly and I got no warm greeting or any greeting at all. I will never go back. Prices shouldn't change daily. I personally believe they prefer a specific clientele that's not women of color. That's the vibe I got each time I went. Which is sad! And I would be willing to bet other people have been victim to these exorbitant prices! There's ONLY 1 person in this salon that can do basic designs! If anyone is paying $100 here do NOT RETURN!!! There are soooo many places where there are MORE TALENTED and MORE TECHNICIANS with lower prices! ********UPDATE (((( owner replied "inflation is real" ummm what kind of inflation occurs in 3 weeks?? What a SAD EXCUSE OF A response. They know what they did today was WRONG and instead of honoring the price they charged weeks before they stood on being WRONG))))******

Pricey! The level of skill doesn't match the price. 🚨🚨🚨owner left response and it shows you just how out of touch he is with reality. No one wants ANYTHING FREE however $100 for nails with basic design requiring little work or skill is beyond inflation - it's GREED 🚨🚨🚨

First time customer and Anthony did a great job! I am very pleased with his attention to detail. The salon is clean and in an easily accessible location. They were able to schedule a same-day appointment. Will definitely be returning.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and think they went up on their pricing , I got coffin acrylic nails with a design and paid $90 flat not including tip. I’ve never paid that much for nails. They do a great job but not worth $100 just for a set of nails.

I’ve been coming here for months now and they never miss. Anthony is incredibly friendly and clearly cares about creating a welcoming environment for his clientele, and he does the best job at acrylic application. Joy has done my designs every time and i have never been disappointed as she is incredibly talented. I will continue to come here definitely check this place out! :)

I'm in Greensboro for work travel and stopped in for a pedicure. I'm a mani/pedi junkie and I can say without hesitation that this was the best pedicure I've ever had. EVER. The nail tech was extremely meticulous, thorough and attentive. She went above and beyond. I wish I was a local because this would be my go-to for nails.

Anthony and Mary are the BEST! I have been coming to Revive for a few months now and will not go anywhere else. I always love my nails (usually Acrylic fill-ins) and getting my nails done here never breaks the bank.

I love to come here for my manicure. Mary is really good at details and she cleans out the cuticles it feels good at the end. The whole staff are welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Love the decor of this place & the atmosphere but my SNS chipped on both my thumbs the next day. Don't think they dipped them enough. I’ll stick with my original place next time. Just trying out other places around Greensboro.
