I do not recommend getting your nails done at this salon. Many of my friends, who are also Columbia students, come here for convenience since the salon is within walking distance from the main campus. However, we have all had similar horror stories. When we had our old gel polish removed, it was done so unevenly, leaving bits of the original gel polish behind. They also left our nail beds extremely damaged and brittle. I had to remove the excess gel myself with a file once I got home. Extremely disappointed.

I would avoid highlights and long layered haircuts with Jay. It didn’t look professional, and I had to get my hair color-corrected at another salon

Super friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere! Went here after another salon botched my highlights and they completely fixed my hair and made it look amazing. Fair prices! Would definitely come again.

Terrible experience! Went here to get gel removed and ended up with gel left on, brittle and cracked nails and flaking everywhere. I had to finish removing the gel at home and my nails were super sensitive after! Please please don’t go here.

Basic gel manicure left my cuticles super dry because they did not use cuticle oil. Base and top coats were applied haphazardly and manicurist said that because they were clear coats, it didn’t matter if they were fully on the nail or not.

I came here for the first time for a basic straight blow dry. The hair dryer that the stylist used was not hot at all so it took so long to straighten my hair, and in the end my hair was not even that straight. Ive been getting straight blow dries all my life and by far this was the worst one and one of the most pricy one. The staff was friendly, but for this price definitely not worth it.

I feel so lucky to have come across this boutique salon that is an integral part of the Columbia community. So conveniently located, this spot has top-notch, world-class aestheticians and stylists. The owner, Laxmi, is lovely and charming, accommodating for appointments, and offers really outstanding, meticulous aesthetician services. The salon has several hair stylists, and for the last few years I have been working with Noom. Hailing from Thailand, Noom has long been an Asia-wide hair expert; he is unassuming and subtle, works quietly and adeptly, and my hair has never been happier or healthier. These services can rival some of the best places in NYC and I could probably go downtown to find this level of skill, but I don’t have to. Really one of the best kept secrets above 110th Street.

I used to go all the way down to East Village to get a haircut, but then I met J. He knows what he is doing, and would always make new recommendations to how to style my hair. I have had 4 haircuts here and so far very happy about the whole experience!! 🔥🔥

Totally worth it!! The salon does stand up to its name, it really does revive your entire look! I really wanted to change my hairstyle since the past couple weeks hence I went down to get a hair makeover done. It was my first time at this Salon and hands down I had an incredible experience. The service was top notch with great attention to customer satisfaction. The entire salon is immaculate and staff are very friendly too. I love my new look. Will definitely visit again.

Worst experience. I was a regular customer and Noom used to cut my hair. He is no longer working there and the owner recommended this other guy who is taking over Noom’s clients. He did the worst job. He has thinned my hair. Cut it unevenly so one side of my face has hair randomly longer than the other side. On top of that I got charged for styling even though I specifically only asked for the haircut. Terrible overall.

The experience was truly delightful. Later, I discovered that it was Laxmi Bhatta, the owner, who had answered the phone. She promptly scheduled an appointment for me. Her enthusiasm for managing the salon, among other responsibilities, was evident. The hair coloring that Silvia performed was exceptionally well done. I will definitely start going to this salon.

I love this salon. I’ve gotten my hair cut by Noom every time and I swear I will never go to anyone else again. He always cuts it exactly the way I ask and it looks perfect every time. I came in today with a botched haircut from a different salon and Noom fixed it and made it look amazing. He is now my ride or die stylist. Highly recommend 👏🏻

Worst facial ever. After the extraction, there was no mask. Even the extraction was very unthorough. At the end, the esthetician was very stingy with the moisturizer so she only put a tiny bit of moisturizer that was not enough for my whole face. Now my face is even drier than before the facial. Don’t even get me started on the one-min massage with barely no massage oil just a lot of tugging on the skin. Go to this place at your own risk.
