I had color consults with a few hairstylists before deciding Heather was my best choice. Not only did she respond to my inquiry, which let me say most people I reached out to did not respond to me. So firstly, she responded and offered a consultation in person with a patch test for a new color line she has that is doing well for people like me, with scalp sensitivity. I stopped coloring my hair two years ago due to developing welts on my scalp. The other consults didn’t think they could do what I asked, which was foiling the color to keep it from over saturating my scalp. I thought hmmm that seems simple enough so maybe they just don’t get it or don’t have enough experience. Well Heather immediately understood and also spent a good 30 minutes with me in conversation with hair color samples, photos, a mirror, and eventually a patch test on multiple spots on my scalp in places you’d never notice. It didn’t burn at all so we moved forward. I liked that she gave me her opinion on what would look good and what would wash me out. I have had too many hairstylists go super warm on me and my skin tone is quite cool & neutral, and never felt like it looked right. We also agreed that ashy was a bad idea too. I wanted grey blending with some dimension, I didn’t care that I had grey but that too much of it wasn’t flattering, so we decided on incorporating my natural color rather than color all of it- also because it would grow out nicely and I’m pretty low maintenance with hair care. She did a beautiful job creating a subtle soft change that made a huge impact on the overall look, giving me back hair color that enhance my eyes and skin tone, that still looks like me- just better. Rhapsody Hair is the cutest little salon. The ambiance is so cozy and inviting! I booked appointments for my whole family (Mom, Dad, son 11 and Daughter 9) with Randee. She was absolutely amazing!! So kind and inviting! She is definitely a pro at what she does! My husband and son both have difficult hair with multiple cowlicks and we gave her creative freedom to do what she thought would be best with their hair type and she nailed it! Both boys left extremely happy with their cuts. My daughter's hair inspiration was Taylor Swift and she left so happy with her cut and style! My cut is perfect too! Randee wears a mask at all times and has her air purifier going which is very appreciated! Overall it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Randee and Rhapsody Hair!

Amanda is truly talented! Not only does she do an amazing job at bringing my hair back to life, but she also makes me feel relaxed since the moment that I take a seat in her chair. My favorite part of the process is her amazing scalp massages. 💆‍♀️ Listening to meditation 🧘‍♀️ music on her AirPods with her soothing voice takes me to a complete place of relaxation. I am so glad I found Heather two years ago! Her salon, Rhapsody, is beautiful. It’s clean, eco friendly and has the coolest vibe. You need to see it for yourself!!! Heather is so sweet and always willing to try whatever color combinations I come up with and each time it’s a little different, but she nails it every time! Being a natural redhead, it’s hard to find a stylist who can incorporate my natural red with dimension but she does it. I always get amazing compliments on my hair color. I stumbled upon Rhapsody Hair through Instagram because I was desperately in need of a new hair dresser after COVID. I'll start with the place itself. I love the energy in Rhapsody Hair, it always smells so fresh, it's super clean, lots of beautiful plants, very eco friendly & there's also accessories for sale, which are super cute (: Regarding my service.. it's been 10/10 every single time. I've been with Heather for 2.5 years now and go in every 3-5 months. Heather is super knowledgeable, she uses great products & knows exactly what she is doing. I live for her head massages, they're my absolute favorite part.. you'll know why when you experience it. I also love how pampered I get when I'm there. Going to my appointments is something I look forward to, it’s a whole experience. I genuinely can't recommend Heather and Rhapsody Hair enough. 💖

I wanted to leave a review for Randee, as one of her former Boise clients. I have a ton of hair, and Randee took excellent care of it. She trimmed my hair so it felt healthy again. After coming in with damaged, bleached out hair, Randee got me back to my natural color easily and it looked perfect. Randee is also the best when it comes to COVID safety protocols! I highly recommend her.

You are a lucky human if you get to have your hair done by Randee. She is by far the most skilled hairdresser that has ever touched my very very long and very very thick hair. Her coloring skills are beyond perfect. I cannot tell you how many times I have been complimented on my "natural red hair." Randee will put you at ease with her accepting and easy going nature. I followed Heather here from her former work place. I love her new salon! It's full of plants and tons of light and has a very cool vibe! I have a ton of long hair and she always takes as much time as is needed (3 1/2 hours or 4) to really do a good job. I'm not bragging when I say people stop me constantly to ask where I get it done. My color is just so beautiful and vibrant. Shes a master colorist! My cut is also exactly what I want. She never tries to talk me out of what I want even though I bet she has other ideas she'd like to try. I can trust her to do what I want. I'm just so glad to have found her. She's a gem!

Heather is amazing! I started seeing her last year when she was at Maribou, and she has always been the most patient, understanding, and kind stylist. When I first sat in her chair, I was so nervous! But she walked me through what I wanted and totally delivered. Every time I see her, I want something a little different - and even though my ability to explain what I want isn't the best, she figures it out and I walk out so happy with the results! Her new location, which she's remodeled beautifully, is a fantastic boutique salon spot. It feels posh yet comforting, Heather is dedicated to finding the right stylists for her chairs and cultivates great relationships with her clients. I recommend her to all my friends looking for a stylist in the Sacramento Area, and I'm definitely a return client!
