I am so frustrated with how destroyed my hair is after going to this salon, I’ll never go again. I booked an appt with Kayla to get my hair colored and to get a curly cut. I have naturally level 7 dark blonde hair (borderline brown) and wanted to go slightly lighter and showed a beautiful “bronde” color as inspo but what I got was nothing like that. The bottom pieces got completely bleached and are lighter than the rest of the hair, clearly was left on too long. When she was shampooing the color out, she told me my color was now a level 10 blonde (as light as it can go), which shocked me as there was no platinum blonde in the pic I showed. Also DO NOT GET A CURLY CUT HERE- it is false advertising and they don’t know how to cut curly hair. I looked online and Kayla is the only one that offers this service, but what I received was not a curly cut, but a regular cut instead. She knew she tried my hair and told me to be very gentle with it for a few washes, but 6 weeks later I’m still trying to revive my hair. My curl pattern has been ruined. I texted them this and showed pictures of how it looks and all they offered was to have her fix it and then stopped responding. How can you fix a curly hair cut if you don’t know how to cut curly hair? I spent $650 here and will have to spend almost as much to get it fixed. Avoid this place at all costs.

If I could give more stars, I would! Ricky is simply the best. I came in a few months back to discuss hair extension options for my upcoming wedding. He took the time to explain all the options, pros and cons, and worked with me on every detail along the way. I really can’t say enough great things about him and the studio. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Courtney is incredible! She made the consultation so seamless and she has so much experience. I was really nervous to get my hair done again after beating cancer and battling hair loss. She made me feel so comfortable. I went back for my hair appointment today, She did extensions, and they turned out better than I could’ve hoped for. The appointment also took less time than I thought, which is just another testament to her skills. I love my hair and would highly recommend anybody to go to courtney!

I cannot say enough good things about Ricky and his team. From the reception to stylists, this salon is top of its class. I’ve struggled for years to find someone who can work with/color thick dark hair and found Ricky. His work with color is beyond anything I’ve experienced or seen, it’s amazing. His passion shines through as he cares about your hair goals, the health of your hair and goes above and beyond to ensure he provides the best service. If you’re looking for a new salon, I highly recommend booking with Ricky or any one of his talented stylists as you will not find a better salon in the Seattle area.

RICKY IS HAIR KING. Over the last two years with him he’s done a range of beautiful ash blonde balayage to a chocolate brown with ease and he kills it every time. He has a true knowledge of doing people of color’s hair, which can be difficult to bleach when not done correctly. It took me years to find my right stylist and I’m so happy I finally did, he is a wonderful stylist who cares about his clients and making sure they feel beautiful!

After years of having stylists chop my natural wave pattern incorrectly, I finally found Ricky! Ricky knows how to cut my wavy curls so it lays beautifully. You can text inspiration pictures straight to them, and they will customize your experience to fit your hair requests, while putting the health of your hair first. He helped me overcome badly fried hair with henna from lush, and now I have such beautiful hair. I have been seeing Ricky for three years, and I will never switch!

Anastasia has improved my skin with hydra facials, dermaplaning treatments and has helped me build a skincare routine with products that work for me. I also get waxing done with her and I haven’t had any ingrowns, which I’m prone to, and she gets every single hair! I love coming to her for these services, and I travel far for them, but I get my money’s worth.

I came in to have some extensions removed that I had done elsewhere. I came in two separate times to have them removed, the second time I came in, I had no issues. The first time the lady cut about 3 inches of my actual hair off. I had indicated where I wanted the extensions, which was much longer than where she cut them. When I realized how much of my actual hair had been cut I went to the bathroom and cried (I’ve had a rough time growing it back out). I looked at a photo of my hair before the extensions just to make sure I wasn’t over exaggerating. When I came out I couldn’t hide that I was crying, so I told her what happened. She repeated over and over that she didn’t think she cut my actual hair. She later pointed to my top layers and blamed it on me having a layered haircut. I didn’t press it further and said it was fine, that I probably needed to trim the ends anyway. I was confused because I felt like I was being very nicely gaslit. I was also charged more than I was told it would be over the phone. I think it was only around $100 more, but worth mentioning for the reviews sake. The second time I came in it was the price I was originally quoted, which was with a different person. Also, the first person was pretty rough and ripped my hair a lot, which didn’t happen the second time. I removed the last of the extensions myself and now have choppy uneven ends due to the cut. To be clear, except for the lady who cut my hair off - I had a great experience there. Everyone is super nice.

I got my extensions moved up and did a color with Kayla. I have seen Kayla numerous times over the years and she always does such an amazing job! I am so happy with her extensions work and highly recommend her. Booking my next appointments in advance!

I have been going here for 2 years and always see Anastasia for a lash lift/tint and brow tweeze. She also gives a killer scalp and neck massage. I always look and feel like the best version of myself after seeing her. She is an artist in the truest sense and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my lashes or brows. I have been to so many salons in the Seattle area and have stuck here ever since my first appointment which says a lot for someone as picky as me!

Every time she gives me a fresh cut or a fresh look, I always have people acknowledge how great my hair looks from both people I work with and also complete strangers. I highly recommend booking with Brenna, especially if you’re wanting to add color or lighten dark hair. She was so great and thoughtful, I trusted her the entire time. I’ll definitely be back to continue having Brenna cut and balayage my hair!

I will always trust Brenna to do the perfect balayage here! I’ve come here two times already, and have been consistently impressed by the staff and quality of service that I receive! I could not recommend enough, especially as someone with dark Asian here. Brenna is always able to get it to a cool blonde balayage in one session, and I leave the salon feeling like my best self every time.

I've been going to Ricky for several years and have had the privilege of getting to know most employees beyond the typical stylist-customer surface level. 1000/10. This salon (and the people) deserve some attention. Each and every stylist, of course to include Ricky, are incredibly talented- I've done a variety of random things to my hair, and Ricky nails it each time (taking into consideration my wishes, which range from platinum blonde with extensions to short black hair) whilst utilizing his many years of professional experience. Each time, the result (and the company) is superior. I've sent my mother-in-law to Brenna, and I swear I've never seen my mother-in-law so excited about her hair before. Additionally, she had a great time getting to know Brenna, and mentioned that she felt very welcomed upon arrival. So, I recommend this place to close friends and family often, and I know any one of the stylists will take care of them. This salon simply ensures that you will have a consistently professional and fun experience with a result better than you imagined. If there is an element in the salon that is not providing such experience, of course, that is something that is readily (and rightfully) addressed. Additionally, the owners and employees of this salon are great people, simply put. The moment you walk in, I promise you will feel genuinely cared for. Take it from someone who works in a profession surrounded by what the general population would categorize as "bad people." I'm serious. Trust me. Also, the fact the owners worked their tails off to build a business from the ground up in (1) an incredibly competitive industry and (2) an incredibly expensive part of the country - and STILL manage to find success- even AFTER THE PANDEMIC- should tell you everything you need to know about this salon and the hard working and passionate individuals who make this work their life- for YOU. In short: book the appointment, sit in the chair, have an amazing time with wonderful people, and walk out an 11/10.

OMG. Ricky is a magician. Not only is this high end boutique salon the most welcoming and professional business I’ve been to in a long time, but the staff also is so friendly, encouraging and informative. I love how Ricky offered a hair consultation for first time guests because a lot of places will just let you book and decide last minute if they can give you what you’re wanting. I felt so heard and comfortable moving forward with my hair appointment (it’s always scary switching providers but this made it easy) My hair looks and feels amazing. You MUST check this place out.

Ricky is a genius with color. I have not had such a superb coloring job since I lived in Paris! Located in the Madrona area of Seattle, a lovely walking neighborhood, his salon is worth your visit!

Anastasia is a real gem. Over the past few months she's waxed me, micro-bladed my brows, and given me freckles. She goes above and beyond each time I'm there. I feel taken care of and nurtured. My brows look great and I am IN LOVE with my freckles. I always wanted them as a kid so it's really exciting to have them effortlessly now (I used to draw them on every day). I feel so fortunate to have found Anastasia. I will be seeing her for touch ups and waxes indefinitely. The atmosphere of the salon is fun and decorated for Halloween at the moment! :)

Anastasia is the best! She is so kind and such a perfectionist about her work. She really cares about her clients and always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with the results. Called around to a few salons to get micro bead hair extensions. Found Ricky’s style studio. Great hair stylists they are all very nice. They were great with letting me bring my own extensions in and hair color so I could have colored extensions. They gave me tips on how to care for the extensions and some names of products that are good for keeping the extensions nice

If you have dark hair and have never been able to find a stylist that gets your hair a cool-toned blonde then Ricky’s is the place to go! Ricky does amazing work and really takes care of your hair, keeping your hair healthy is super important to him and he uses all the best products to make sure no matter what you will walk out with beautiful, healthy, soft hair. Can’t recommend him enough and honestly I won’t go anywhere else for my hair needs!
