I have been waiting MONTHS for my money back and they keep acting like they don't know what is going on. They provided a service I did not ask for and did not advised me what was being done to my hair until after I was finished. My bank told me I have to speak with the merchant to receive my money back and Rinse Salon never gave me a call back! Super unprofessional.

Really sad that I have to stop going to this salon because Jaye is incredibly talented. Just keep in mind when booking that if you're in a car accident on the way to your appointment (2 days before Christmas), they will not consider reducing your no show fee or even respond to your email. Was told over the phone their hands were tied, and now I feel like I can never go back which makes me very sad to have to find another salon because I've been going here for 5 years. Additionally, instead of charging me the 50% no show fee they charged me 100% of the service. Thank god they can afford those expensive staff parties though! Adding a star because again, their stylists are very talented. Just make sure you're not in a car accident!

I’ve waited a whole month before writing this review. Do NOT allow them to cut your hair. I went in for a long layered cut with a thin out. The stylist ended up leaving my hair uneven and took more hair on one side versus the other. The cut looks okay when they style it but as soon as you go home and wash it you will see the flawed cut just as I did. I reached out and was very clear that I did not want to cut my hair any further but would prefer a refund simply for the cut. I wasn’t even asking for my money back for the style. Management said they would get back to me and they ignored all my attempts to get a response and till this day, the company has not made an effort to reach out and make things right. So disappointed. You would think that they would at least have the decency to respond.

Romina did a great job with my haircut and booking was seamless. I wish I was shown the back of my hair before I left, and didn't think about it until I was already gone. I knocked off a star because there was visible/sizable mold growth on the ceiling you could see when you were getting your hair washed. I would definitely come back if they fixed this, as it's a health hazard.

The salon was super aesthetically pleasing, clean, and everyone was very polite. Summer brought my hair back to life and did so so very quickly. I’ve never been in and out of a salon in an hour my hair feels amazing!

The stylists and personnel at Rinse Salon are outstanding. For the past seven years, I have been having my hair cut and colored at this location. The stylists are friendly and pay great attention to detail.

went in for a trim and gloss kind of last minute and was so happy I got booked with Joey! It was my second time going to the salon but first time meeting Joey and he was the sweetest and really took his time explaining the process of what was going on and was just very attentive to what I was looking for and he was exactly what I had been looking for in a hair stylist! I hate when stylists are just overly quiet and don’t care to explain what they’re doing, so I am very pleased to have met Joey! He’s definitely going to be my go-to from now on! Also Annie did a great job in giving me a blowout!

I have never left a bad review on a business but I'm really disappointed in my experience with Rinse salon. Photos on their social media looked great, and since I wanted a pretty simple cut and color I didn’t select a preferred stylist when I booked online, but did put a note that I wanted a Senior Stylist. I have medium brunette hair that is 100% virgin, and I wanted to dye it much darker, borderline black with cool tones. I was very clear about what I wanted, brought in photos and everything. I also had cut my own layers previously that, no surprise, ended up not being even so I wanted the stylist to fix these as well. I stated that I did not want super blended butterfly cut layers, but clearly defined layers with fringe and again showed photos. I also said she could cut as much as she needed in order to fix the layers. The stylist barely trimmed my layers without reshaping them at all. I asked her to add a shorter layer and she said it wouldn’t look good and so she didn’t. She never showed me the cut from the back, which I didn’t even realize until I got home and had someone take photo of it for me where I saw how uneven the layers still were. They honestly look horrible, really uneven, a blended mess and super heavy in one area. The attached photo is my hair immediately after my appointment. When I saw the color in different light than at the salon, it still looked really warm and not dark enough. It’s clearly not even close to black and has a lot of warmth still. When I went back to the Rinse site to find the email to ask to have my hair touched up, as is there policy if you are unhappy with it, I saw that the stylist I had was the least experienced stylist in the salon, only ranked “stylist” even though I requested a senior stylist, 3 or 4 ranks above that. This makes sense since she struggled to style the sort-of fringe she cut and actually just gave up on trying at one point. I was really upset when I saw that, and sent an email asking if the owner would consider fixing my hair since I wasn’t given the level stylist I asked for, and didn’t feel comfortable having her cut my hair again. I also didn’t want to request a different senior stylist to redo my hair without getting fully paid, obviously. I emailed twice, tried calling, and almost two weeks later no one from Rinse salon has gotten back to me. Really unprofessional. I’m fed up with the lack of care they gave to a new client. I won’t be going back and would advise others to try a different salon.

Always love coming to Rinse when I’m in San Diego! This was my first time getting a haircut by Summer, and she truly gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had! I really appreciated that she took her time and checked in at every step of the way to make sure it was exactly what I was hoping for.

I get this haircut often, but was pleasantly surprised by the small added touches she made to help this cut become my favorite. I have been going to Rinse Salon for 2 years since the wife and I moved to San Diego. It is by far my best experience with a hair salon since I started to maintain my long curly hair. Joey has been an absolute rockstar from color, to cut, and styling my hair which is normally not easy hair to deal with. I get so many compliments on my hair and it would not be possible without his expertise. He knows his stuff and is extremely professional and informative. I cannot praise this place and their staff enough. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you check out, Rinse Salon is unrivaled! Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Monika highly enough for hair services! She possesses a true talent and gift for everything hair styling. It took me quite some time to find a hairstylist I could trust, but I finally found someone who can bring my vision to life. Monika has transformed my hair, giving it so much more dimension and vibrancy, while ensuring the coloring looks natural and effortless. She also did an incredible job prepping my hair for my wedding day, including perfectly matching me for hair extensions. Jess did such an amazing job on my hair. I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted done. she walked me through the entire experience with genuinely solid recommendations. i could tell she really knew what she was doing. she was also so kind and sweet to talk to. i came out with results that i couldn’t have even imagined. i hated my hair when i walked in and felt like a new person after i left. i’ll never go anywhere else from now on. love this place.

The prices here (both times I have been here) have been exorbitant for mediocre service. I have gone to very nice salons in my life in very expensive cities. These are the highest prices I have ever paid in my lifetime with very mediocre results. Also I had scheduled and asked for partial highlights, was given and charged for full (even though that is not what I asked for) and I honestly saw no difference in my hair before vs. after. Livid. Never Returning Ever. Save your money, do not go here!!!
